It's frustrating, especially for parents juggling morning drop-offs or work schedules. Instead of encouragement, you often get a lecture about "mindset" and "being on time," which starts to feel more self-righteous than supportive. The environment also wasn't what I expected. You're literally working out in an apartment complex gym, nothing exclusive like you'd expect for the high price point. For the rates Ranier Fit charges, I expected much more than a generic setup and recycled routines. Ranier Fit might work for people who can make their entire life revolve around workouts, but it's not practical for busy professionals or parents. Unless you're ready to spend $4,000 on true one-on-one training, there's nothing individualized here. Honestly, I could have gotten a more personal and affordable experience at the YMCA or another local fitness studio. Overall, my Ranier Fit experience was disappointing and not worth the premium cost. My updated review reflects my experience over the full 19 months, not just the earlier phase when I left a positive review. As I continued, it became clear that what was described and what I experienced were not aligned for me personally. A few clarifications from my end: I understood I was joining a small-group program, not 1:1 training. My concern was that, despite the "personalized" language used in marketing and in our conversations, the programming I received was identical to what others were doing and did not adjust meaningfully. I did not miss sessions without communicating until the very end when I was in the process of canceling. I was repeatedly reminded about time in ways that felt more like chastising than support, even though I stayed within the 15-minute window communicated to me. I have a copy of my membership agreement, and the renewal terms you referenced were not clearly stated in the contract I signed. My concern is less about comparison to other gyms and more about transparency and consent based on the specific document I agreed to. Regarding the space and equipment, I understand you value the partnership and environment. My note in the review was about comfort and expectations, not about the quantity of equipment. I'm glad others feel well-served by your structure and policies. My review is meant to offer a different perspective so that prospective clients--especially busy professionals and parents--can make an informed decision about whether this specific style of coaching, communication, and policy enforcement is the right fit for them.

The coaches are amazing and encourage you to focus on form vs speed and truly know how to motivate you when you're feeling like you've got nothing left. I enjoy yoga and the cool down / meditation is absolutely PHENOMENAL. After maxing out and emptying your tank in the workout, taking time to stretch, breathe, reflect, show gratitude, and finish with an affirmation makes my morning workouts at LR50 the highlight of my day! 10/10 would recommend.

Nothing compares to the coaches here. They take the time to fix your form and adjust as you need. They also get involved and care about your well being. I've been trained by several of the trainers and have had incredible workouts with each. Laura has been my primary trainer. Her experience and knowledge as a trainer is exceptional.
