I can't say enough good things about the whole team at Fit. I had complications following knee replacement surgery and it was an extremely tough time. HIGHLY recommended NOT using this company. VERY DISHONEST when it comes to billing! They literally LIED & mislead us! Recap: Had 3 visits(Nov 2021), we were assured insurance would cover 90% of the bill. Insurance showed we may own $30-$75 We STOPPED after 3 visits & told them we don't want to pay $75 a visit. Asked them about potential cost. They Reassured us the MAX cost would be a COPAY of $30. Did 3 more visits(6 total) (Dec 2021). Insurance again showed we may owe $30-$75 a visit. ALSO ~ THEY messed up BILLING and DIDNT BILL SECONDARY insurance!!! We again told them "WE CANNOT PAY $75 a visit" They INSISTED it would be a MAX of our office Co-pay of $30. We asked them to check and AUTHORIZE the treatment ahead of time. They came back with Authorization and said it was all covered except a copay & we had 3 more visits authorized! We asked HOW MUCH PER VISIT, they Again said no more then the copay! So we did 3 more visits (1 Dec 2021& 2 Jan 2022) with 2 being in a NEW calendar year. And we had a change to insurance. THIS time Insurance said its $75 a visit. Out of concern of being overcharged & them not being up front, we STOPPED in Jan of 2022 to figure out our balance. We CALLED to pay the bill in FULL JAN 2022 and figure out what we owed. They told us to wait 90 days for the bill. In APRIL of 2022 we got a Bill for $375. Seemed a little high but reasonable to what they told us. $375/9= visits $41 a visit. It was a little higher then the $30 a visit we were told. I called in APRIL of 2022 and questioned why it was more then $30 a visit. They told us that is what insurance ended up charging us. I was disappointed and told them I expected $270 which is what we were told on THREE(3) different occasions! The lady told me she couldn't do anything and I AGREED to pay my account in FULL. I then asked he, "IS ANYTHING PENDING?" She said no, this closes out your account to $0. I told her I was disappointed but agreed to pay my bill in full. I mean they did see us 9 times so, I was OK paying slightly more. TODAY in NOVEMBER 2022, 10 months after we were last there, 6 months after we PAID them in FULL... We get a BILL for $375 for remainder of what insurance didn't pay. Oh, and they say we are PAST due though we NEVER received another bill after APRIL. Best in town! These guys are amazing!! I had been to other physical therapists in town and Fit is a notch above. They did stim and ultra sound treatment, exercises and massage. After about eight treatments I went from being in constant pain and limited movement in my rotator cuff to having no pain and 100% movement. The staff are super fun and friendly too. Mark ( one of the owners) has the greatest sense of humor and makes each visit fun and entertaining. read more

After dealing with a frozen shoulder and many types of therapies for over a year and half, I convinced myself that my life would now just be to live with the chronic pain but learn how to manage the pain. As a last resort, not wanting to get a surgery, I had 10 visits with Matt earlier this year. At the end of my visits, he gave me daily stretches and exercises to continue to do on my own to strengthen the shoulder and keep the pain level down. Now 3 months later, I wanted to share that I followed his orders and am no longer living with chronic shoulder pain. I can now sleep pain free also. Thank you Matt!! After my regular doctor refered me to them, I called to get a price quote. It wasn't expensive at all, just out of my budget so I said thanks but no thanks. A couple days later they called me back and said they know how urgent my case is and how much pain I'm in so they were able to make my payments affordable. I've yet to go to my first appt. But I heard they were the best and you rarely find a business looking out for your best interest and not your buck. read more

I broke my ACL and was given several options of where to go to for physical therapy. I had heard great things from people at my gym, so I decided to give them a try. From their PT assistants to the receptionist, there was an air of professionalism and decorum that is hard to find. Especially in the cultural black hole known as Redding. Their times were flexible, their facility, while not huge, is clean and well lit. Every staff member is courteous and the workouts are straightforward. No one WANTS to go through physical therapy, but if you do, this is the best place. You wont find a nicer group of people. Later on, after talking to people that have had the same injury and resulting physical therapy, it sounds like my program was cutting edge and shorter than others. I attribute this to Matt who obviously keeps up on the latest trends, techniques and training regimes. I never got the feeling that they were keeping me longer than I needed to . this is the spot. read more

Mark Rincon and his staff at Fit PT are top notch! I exercise (walk, hike, and jog) to stay healthy, but about 3 months ago, I started having knee pain, which prevented me from exercising. With a recommendation from a friend who was helped by Mark, I came to Fit PT and requested Mark to complete my evaluation. Mark is a genius when it comes to body mechanics and determining how pain in one area is caused by a chain-reaction of problems in other areas. Mark determined my problem was due to having shortened leg muscles with poor flexibility and had me begin a stretching/strengthening routine to relieve tension on my knee. Within the first week, I was already feeling better and after a total of 8 sessions, including doing my exercises at home, my knee pain has almost completely gone away. The rest is up to me to continue my home stretching/strengthening exercises, but I am confident that the techniques Mark taught me will continue to improve my flexibility and keep my knee pain where it belongs...in the past! read more
