i had shoulder surgery and had PT ordered by my Surgeon. The Rose center is "out of network" which I did not Know, nor did they tell me. I am covered by Medicare and United Health.. and because they did not tell me they were NOT is the Network...I have to pay $$$ out of my pocket...No I will never recommend them read more

I do walk funny as I have had both hips replaced yet when I looked back when walking to another exercise station a rude black haired aid punk kid was imitating the way I walk looking at another black haired aid girl to get her to laugh at mocking me! When I left messages the Rose Center staff refused to call me back! So disrespectful to make fun of a disabled senior citizen! I left several messages asking staff /owners to call but to no avail. They seem to be very busy or understaffed as trying to get an appointment. Waited two weeks for them to call , when they did. They said the next appointment that they have available is an additional two weeks out. read more

I am going to PT again 14 years after my initial injury. The office staff are great. I am having trouble using my hands and arms. I was able to use talk to text in order to send a detailed email regarding what was going on. Melinda is my favorite, as she was the first person who saw that I had dystonia and was the only one that made a difference years ago. I have just started, so I don't have an end of treatment result to share. Yet she knew what muscles need to be strengthened and I have exercises that will strengthen those muscles. I had done all of the ones I could find on the Internet, yet they didn't show any results. I have done home PT for almost 15 years, but something in my body changed. My previous exercises and the foam roller had become ineffective. They also helped a quadriplegic friend of mine to become much more independent. She developed movement in her arms she didn't have before. That is important for anyone, but especially a mother who wants to be involved in their upbringing. Their care is above any I have gone to. read more

They need to update their website to save time and energy, had to wait two weeks for a return call back in order that they do not ACCEPT MEDICARE or VA Insurance. Support staff was unfriendly and kind of a attitude problem. It was NO customer service here at ALL!!''. I would rather drive 2.5 hours to UC Davis than Support Rose Physical Therapy. The Rose Center is very organized. The staff are friendly. The therapists are very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my experience.

Not very helpful or knowledgeable. I believe this place is more for students, and the actual PT's only work with specific people. Staff is somewhat friendly. The people in the billing depatment have no clue what they are doing, and if you ask them for an explanation of your bill, they won't be able to give you one. Try another physical therapy place in Redding if you want good service and one on one attention. read more

I tried a different PT in town before coming to the Rose Center. I was skeptical as the previous PT did not sufficiently address my back and foot pain. Melinda Anderson is an outstanding therapist! The Rose Center graciously accepted me even though my insurance carrier isn't a part of their plan. The physical therapy business down the street turned me away without a batting an eye, however, Michelle, the front office administrator at The Rose Center, said they would help immediately with my vertigo. Michelle made an appointment for me to see Robin, one of their top-notch physical therapists. Robin was extremely diligent in learning what was causing my vertigo and completed several tests, complete with eye goggles to see deep into my eyes. She was relentless in covering all the bases while attempting to get to the root cause of my problem. You can count on Michelle and Robin at The Rose Center to go the distance in making sure you're well taken care of. I'm grateful they're here for us! read more

I went in today because my insurance forced me to try PT (yet again) before continuing the treatment that I have been receiving since 2006. I will be the first to admit that I had a chip on my shoulder at the beginning but Melinda was wonderful and actually taught me a few things that I had not learned in over 10 previous rounds of PT. She proceeded to manually work on my neck and make it feel better. I went in with the attitude that I would go once and say it failed and ended up leaving with 2 more appointments with Melinda. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a physical therapist. read more

While I believe the employees and owners are capable I believe they lack customer relations. On my third visit to The Rose Center I was loudly scolded in the waiting room for being 25 minutes late, however I had not been late to an appointment prior to this day nor did I believe I was 25 minutes late this time. Now, according to my records I was not 25 minutes late, someone made a mistake, and yes it could have been me, although I don't think so. The therapist said she would see me anyway but when we got to the treatment room she was obviously very angry and tossed my file down on the table. When asked to look at my calendar to verify the appointment time, she refused and said she didn't make appointments at that time and said, " I told you I don't make appointments at that time." Okay, either the receptionist or I made a mistake, and it was us who made the appointment, not the therapist so she is right she doesn't make appointments at that time. I decided it was not a good idea to have an angry therapist manipulating my neck and head so I told her I was leaving at which time she followed me out into the waiting room nagging me to reschedule. When I got home she had left a message on my machine apologizing for being,"short" with me. No, loudly scolding me and inferring I was lying is not being short with me it is insulting me. I called to discuss this incident only to be told she is an owner and there was no one to talk to and nothing would be done about the incident. Thank goodness there are other physical therapists in this town. read more
