Honestly I love just walking in doing what I need to do in there and leaving. Everybody inside here community wise are very respectful to each other. I've never had or seen anyone getting into any disputes over a machine here or anything. The staff are cool and they are eager to help answer questions you might have. What I also love is they don't try to force things down your throat like places like X-sport does. It's a chill environment. It's kept pretty decent in the cleanliness department, even the bathrooms are routinely maintained. I've neve had an issue here with anybody not once. As I said earlier it's not a super fancy gym but it is a reliable gym and it does have what you need to feel the burn and in peace...

I loved it here. It was my happy place…read more Unfortunately another member asked me to fix her bra strap. Then "titty bumped" me. Then had the audacity to ask me for a massage. Sigh. I told her I felt extremely uncomfortable and that her request was highly inappropriate. The passive aggressive behavior that followed was enough to escalate to the management team. Which was useless. Every one that knows me, knows I just wanted to workout ‍ They chose the path of least resistance and decided to double down and make me want to quit and leave the gym. A trainer posted videos of me without my permission. I escalated my updated complaint to corporate of sexual harassment, harassment, threats and bullying. On April 27th Energy Fitness verbally terminated my membership. When I asked about class pass or another member inviting me, they said I was banned on June 3, 2026. This was retaliation for my complaint, a violation of my rights, discrimination and against the NYS human rights law. These aren't just "mean girls" management. These are a group of miserable women who are opening you up to a lawsuit. I wonder how many complaints there are against these "mean girls"?

Fair, so I did and even did a countdown with one the front desk staff (the front staff are great, it's management that's a problem!) I found in mid-March Id been charged again and called to dispute, front desk said management would call--they didn't so I emailed. The general manager treated me like conspiracy, said "this is he said she said," but that she would investigate. Mind you I'm not going and using the time I paid for because I'm confident they will cancel--she never gets back. I reach out to regional manager who takes well past the month to treat me again like I was lying about having cancelled -mind you at this point the month is over and I even said when I originally called (and emailed management) that if I'm still paid in without the possibility of cancellation, Id like to go and finish the month. They waited until the month was over. If they treat clients like this, imagine how they treat their staff! As per the actual club with its outdated broken-half the time equipment: There's only a few flat benches and one set of weights=long wait times even when it's not busy. There were times I had to hold up in the parking lot waiting for a spot. There are better gyms. Forget about how the bathroom smelled. Ick!

I have been a member here for a few years and my experience has been generally very good. The loud…read moremusic is annoying, but my earbuds camouflage most it. However, a recent phenomenon is more than annoying. Several members monopolize multiple machines simultaneously, leaving their equipment on each while they switch from one to the other. For example, one member routinely switches back and forth between lat pullover, chest press and the Pec-Deck leaving his belongings on the unused machines. In another case, two young ladies set up all their equipment at the Smith machine then leave for long periods as they use other equipment. This would be a minor annoyance, except for the fact that there are only three Smiths and one Pec-Deck. It is not my responsibility to confront these members, but it it inconsiderate in the extreme. I truly enjoy working out at Planet Fitness, but the behavior of these few members is becoming infuriating.

They especially love the private atmosphere and having the entire facility to themselves during their session. My mom initially started to combat shoulder pain and my grandma for her back pain. Both have gained a significant amount of strength and confidence since starting. The best part is that they stated they no longer feel the respective pain that they started with. I've been going to Orange Theory for about two years and it's the best gym experience I've ever…read morehad. I'm very exercise averse and generally self conscious at the gym because I don't typically know what I'm doing. Orange Theory has removed most of those hang ups for me. I've gone a few times during the pandemic after they were allowed to open and have felt very safe and protected from virus concerns. We wait outside to be let in before class begins. We have to stand 6 feet apart and everyone is at alternating equipment. I've bought several people with me to experience the workout and they all Iove it. They don't necessarily live the price, but a few have been willing to make the financial sacrifice.
