The instructors are always checking your form during the exercises and make sure you get the most out of your workout. They also tailor the exercises to your strength or any limitations you may have. Having an owner who is -la physical therapist is a huge plus for a gym and you can tell based on the instructors he chooses. Surfaces appear clean, but accessories haven't been replaced in over two years and are often disgusting, with cockroaches sometimes found in the filthy mats. The owner's approach to sanitation is insufficient, providing only Renew moisturizing hand wash, which is not antibacterial, and Soluguard botanical spray. While Soluguard is EPA-registered to kill some household germs, it's a thyme oil-based product that doesn't provide the necessary level of infection protection against viruses like COVID or RSV in a gym setting. This inadequate hygiene, combined with the owner's indifference to member requests and dangerous habit of propping doors open, creates a serious safety concern.

There is also ample parking in the lot right in front of the entrance. My first experience with a reformer machine was for an advanced class elsewhere, so I've been scared of it ever since lol. I wasn't nervous at all in Tatiana's class; she explained each function clearly, and she's quite funny to boot. The class flowed well and I stretched places I didn't know I could stretch. The 50 minutes flew by, and any moves I wasn't familiar with I easily looked to my left or right. It sounds like they have harder/sweatier classes on other days, and this one was a great start!

All the staff are very kind, and they have a cute little Nespresso machine / coffee bar you can grab a drink from after.

Everyone just does their own thing because the instructor isn't checking if anyone is doing things right. Definitely not a place for beginners.

I'd done reformer Pilates back in college and loved it, so I started exploring studios nearby. After trying a few in the area, I found X2O Pilates, and I was instantly hooked. They use an Xformer, which is a bit different from traditional reformers. It's like a blend between classic Pilates and Lagree-style training, and it delivers serious results. Since starting a little over a year ago, my body has completely transformed. I have visible abs for the first time since my early twenties, and I'm more toned and defined overall than I've been in years. Eventually, I convinced a few friends to come with me; though they were definitely intimidated at first. But after just one class, they were hooked too! Every instructor at X2O is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and kind. They each bring their own unique style to class, but you truly can't go wrong with any of them. HEMME CREEK TRAIL REVIEW: First time on this trail and it's easily one of my top 10 trails in the…read moreBay Area. You can park at the Ringtail Cat Staging Area, where there's about 8-10 parking spots. This trail is a loop that takes you literally through a stream. It's lush and woodsy, and there's a pretty steep elevation before you get a breather through a meadowy field of trees and grass. It wasn't crowded, so we took our time and enjoyed the Zen-ness of our hike. From the parking area, there's about a 1/4 mile path before you reach a metal gate where the loop begins. If you go right, you'll start with the Shred Wizard Creek part of the loop. If you go left, you'll start with the Ringtail Cat part of the loop. It's about 3 miles with a 720 foot elevation. There aren't many markers, so I recommend using AllTrails to keep you on track. We started with the creek, and it was so fun. The trail zig zags over the stream at least 25 times. There was one part of the trail where you had to walk in the stream, but it's so shallow we didn't get our socks wet at all. It can be a bit muddy. This was our favorite part of the hike. It's so green and lush. Once the creek part is done, there's a pretty steep climb to get to the Ringtail Cat part of the loop. This part is also very nice as you walk through grassy fields and trees. There's less shade here. There's still more hills and valleys along this part. Overall, this was so much fun, the scenery was beautiful, and you get quite a workout.

On top of that, ICDT! was incredibly generous in providing our family with a tuition scholarship, which allowed my daughter to have this truly memorable experience. On the first day, one coach kicked a ball into my son's head and then disappeared for the rest of the week. My son came home every day saying he learned no soccer skills because there was little to no coaching. They didn't even play soccer on the last day. Most activities were random games unrelated to soccer. Afternoons consisted mainly of crafts, Legos, and a bounce house--fun activities, but not what was advertised. The check-in process was also disorganized. The receptionist repeatedly struggled to find my son's registration because she was confused about first and last names, despite his information being clearly visible in the system. She claims everyone makes mistake and that's ok, please tell this to your boss, not me. This camp has potential, but it is poorly managed and does not deliver what it promises. Updated based on Russ's feedback - the name in the system was correct because when your receptionist can't find it and handed me the iPad, I was able to look it up and it looks right. However, looks like it was sorted by first name but she asked for last name. I understand it was supposed to be very structured, but during class, it was not the case. My son even asked the coach to teach him how to kick and shoot better but the coach ignored him.
