Let me start by saying I either hate or love things; very few things are in the middle for me. I LOVE this place. After covid I knew that I had to find an alternative to the gym, things will never be the same even though gyms are partially open again.. My gym only allows 1 hour a day with capacity limits I'm pretty hard core.. 4-6 days a week at the gym and I couldn't find anything that was the quality I wanted new for less than $2000, so I started looking for used equipment.. That's when I found Fitness 4 Less. I'm the proud owner of a Octane Q35. Essentially you pay a little more than 1/4 the price of new and get the quality of equipment at the gym rather than paying $300 just to be disappointed by a junky home unit.. Saw a home gym product on their website yesterday and emailed them to hold it and would pick it up first thing in the a.m. We arrived before opening time and walked in and noticed the product sitting in the front of the showroom and said, we are here to pick it up. The manager says oh I just sold it to another guy. That's not how you do things. All he had to do was simply email back and say listen I've got somebody else wanting it and to be here at a certain time to beat the other folks interested. It's called communication and this outfit certainly lacks it. Your reputation has extreme value and when you treat customers like this your credibility goes south real fast. 100% preventable if he cared. Very disappointing. read more

I wanted to add more cardio to my workout so I was looking online on marketplace but was hesitant because a good treadmill can still run a little pricey and you just never know what you are going to get. This place has a lot of machines.to choose from. The machines are very affordable and look to be in good condition. They also come with a 30 day warranty. Came in late Saturday morning with the hubs, we were just having our car serviced at the dealership down the street. I don't know much of nothing about exercise equipment. But the hubs does, he was quite impressed with the selection and the quality of the used equipment. Greg Lemond spinning cycles, Pacific Fitness, Parabody, Landice treadmills, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Prices are fair. Oh ... also the fella working there was quite helpful and knowledgable. DO NOT waste your money on their used equipment. Bought a $300 treadmill 3/14, right before the Covid-19 shutdown happened. 3 weeks later it stopped working. I called no answer. Closed because non-essential business? Called today and they say they never closed and have been open the whole time. Wow!! The manager Steve Collins said it's past their 30-day policy so there's nothing they can or will do. So now I'm stuck with a treadmill that doesn't work and will have to pay hundreds of dollars into to fix it. Rip Off!! Gives me the feeling they know the equipment they sell has problems and they bandaid it so it temporarily works to get past the 30-days and they keep the money and run. I recommend to buy new it's not worth the savings, as most box stores offer two year warranties. Hard lesson learned!!! read more

I shopped there. Bought an olympic bar. Told I was getting a great deal. Found for $5 cheaper online. The bar had rust and I had to clean it. Then I went back for some olympic weight plates. Plates were rusted. Just junk. They don't seem to care about their products or customers just your $$$$. So I went back a fourth and LAST time. Need some olympic weight collars. They were selling beat up collars for the same price as Big 5 was selling them. I've had it with this used up junk place. Trust me if you want honesty and dependable equipment with a company that values you and your business then I suggest you look somewhere else. Went in a Sunday. No cars in the parking lot, the 'Open' sign was off, but the doors were wide open. We wandered into an empty place and started looking around. This place has a ton of workout equipment. We bought a few small things and were on our way, but the person who seemed to be the owner didn't have much energy. It kind of seemed that he didn't really care either way if we were there or not, but he was somewhat nice enough. I had higher hopes for this place, but I think I'll eventually come back to get a workout bench. Let's hope he's willing to negotiate prices a little. Some of the more worn items were priced the same as the nicer things. That struck me as odd. read more

I came here about a year ago to purchase a set of 45 lb cast iron plates and a set of adjustable dumbbells for my garage gym. They had a solid collection of various gym equipment, their store was organized and clean, and they had good customer service (the owner thew in a set of free spring clip collars for my adjustable dumbbells). Don't count on them being open for posted hours - Huge Labor Day shopping weekend, these guys decide to put a piece of paper on the door and close on Sunday and Monday only. God forbid they hire someone to sit there collecting money and selling stuff, me and 2 other customers pulled up at the same time and were all dumbfounded as to why they'd be closed not only on posted hours but also on labor day weekend. Seems other reviewers have ran into the same type of behavior - Only reason I can think is that they don't need to money. I called them regarding a treadmill I wanted to sell. I was told to send pictures of it to their email and they would tell me if they wanted it or not. I emailed them right away. Two days later still no response. I called the store back she said they were busy and would get to it soon. Two more days called again and the owner still had not been able to look at it. Finally the girl said she would pull it up and put it up right on his screen. Finally I got an email response however I was told that he couldn't take my treadmill because it didnt fold up. That however is incorrect; and it does fold up. I sent a response back letting him know that it actually did fold up and five days later now I still have not heard back from them. I went there looking for a rowing machine. Was not aware it was used equipment. Turned out to be perfect for me because I don't have the discipline to work out regularly. I found a brand new machine which I got for $50. Perfect. The salesperson helped me put it in the car and he was very knowledgeable. Great prices on used bikes, treadmills, and other goods. I recently purchased a used exercise bike here, and I highly recommend this store. They will not win any awards for interior decorating, but the prices, selection and service are great. I bought a commercial grade recumbent bike for about 30% of the price of a new one. It is a few years old, but solid as a rock and loaded with features. They had probably 25 or so, ranging from cheap consumer bikes to high-end gym bikes, as well as treadmills, weights, and other stuff. The staff was knowledgeable about the equipment, and not pushy at all. As I had misjudged the size of the bike, the manager, Steve, partly disassembled it for me and he and his staff person loaded it into my SUV. He even gave me an Allen wrench so I'd be sure to have right size for putting it back together. read more

Just bought a bench and dumbbell weights form these guys. Their customer service was nice, not too pushy. They had plenty of things to choose from, but some were missing pieces and/or very wore out cosmetically. Being a used gym equipment store, I wouldn't expect any less. I love this place! You can get very good workout equipment used and in really good condition. We're talking Gym quality, not the cheap stuff you find at Walmart. I am building my own home gym and bought a recumbent bike from here a few years ago. It is powered up by my own pedaling so no plug in and energy cost. It still runs excellent as the day I bought it! I plan to buy a stationary bike and an elliptical soon too. Maybe even a few other things. Great customer service too, they take their time with you. read more

Good equipment terrible service if there is an issue with having something fixed. Purchased a Tread Mill and had a simple issue with an error message on screen and was told to contact a company call Optimus Installs. After having these people come out for an evaluation ($150.00 charge) they gave me the run around for 2 weeks with false diagnosis and were looking at charging me for new motor, or process board. Long and short of the story found my own contractor that advised me that a simple sensor was out of place on the frame. Don't expect anything other than a sale from these people. read more
