Having…read morebeen in the Edmonton south common store a few days before, and observing many in stock, the deal was too good not to order. As I placed my order, it indicated that the downtown store was "Next Day Pick Up". Given that I wanted to pick up as soon as possible, I selected the downtown store, even though the location is terribly inconvenient for me. Approximately 24 hours later, I called the downtown store, whom after about 25 mins on the phone with various people, told me they had no record of the purchase. Of course, I couldn't go pick up the jacket, the next day, at a location that was inconvenient, because MEC hadn't even processed the Order as of yet. Great. I called the customer service line and spoke to a male who told me "this sale has caught us completely off guard and we're overwhelmed". No kidding?? The male told me that there had been staff cutbacks this year, due to how slow it had been, but suddenly the sale has regenerated sales that have overwhelmed the existing employees Ok ... the spokesperson then told me that my jacket was in Winnipeg and had to be shipped to Edmonton! What is going on here, MEC?? You hold a Black Friday sale and you're overwhelmed??? Then my next day pick up, at this inconvenient location, is in Winnipeg??? The kicker is December 16, 2024, I received an email from MEC telling me that my order has been cancelled. My goodness. I've been a supporter of MEC for over 25 years, and have never seen such awful customer service or a absolute lack of responsibility in fulfilling an order - for that matter, I don't think I've ever had a more disappointing exchange with any store, ever, than this experience. I will never again shop at MEC. Shame on you, MEC. Not the MEC I once knew

I took it to the Edmonton store downtown. The manager was sympathetic but refused to exchange it, despite suuntu having a lifetime warranty. Take your business to Amazon or somewhere else.

I keep coming back again and again to Source for Sports…read more They consistently have what we need for hockey when other larger retailers are out. And I've yet to see a better price elsewhere! Just today we needed a second pair of compression pants for my hockey kiddo and I got two pairs on clearance here for $20 when they were $70+ just down the street at Sport Check. Plus, we totally lucked out and got help today from Amber (I think???) longtime hockey player who has worked here for years and still picks up the occasional shift. She's baked our skates, fixed stance issues, custom fit super feet, and been all around awesome for us on numerous visits. Protein - prepay for skate sharpenings here to save money and to save time for drop off/pick up! We also get names screened onto jerseys here - whether for soccer or hockey, we've never had a problem with the cresting coming off. They are always able to get the work done in a timely manner and the price is way better than other shops i. St. Albert. The store itself sells all things sports, from bicycles to hockey equipment and everything in between they have a good selection and their prices are competitive when I have been looking for a product. The staff is always really great. They are helpful and kind and that makes the whole experience all around great. Tons of parking too, what more could you ask for?

I walked by this location the other day and there was a sign advertising a sale. When I went inside there was a sign with extra 40% and this was on the lowest price. I found some quality items for a reasonable price including $3.82 for 6 pairs of socks. They also offer an extra 20% for first responders and military was is a great recognition. The change rooms were comfortable and they have smart technology where it knows what items you have on the hangers. One can request another size without leaving the change room. They also have a cool machine to customize masks if you buy one in store. Not only were the prices good, service was great too. I would definitely be back to shop here!

The online chat agent could not get an any information on the order, so she asked the person in charge of online orders to contact me. I also sent in a request through Flaman's online contact form -- I have not received an answer from either request. I must conclude that they took my money, but did not actually order a machine for me. I also tried calling the store, but could only ever get voicemail. Customer service is clearly not a priority at Flaman Fitness.

Roman was a pleasure to deal with from the moment we said hello. There was no pressure for us to buy and he did not hover around us the whole time. He educated us on the product and left us be to try it out and to talk amongst ourselves. Because of Roman's service , we decided to purchase this machine. I had a little problem with it on Monday when I tried it for the first time and by Tuesday afternoon Roman had his team assemble me a new machine, bring it to my house and took the old one. They also ensured that it was in the exact same spot that I had my other one. Thank you for making this such a great experience. I was in a random place and saw their business card posted on the wall (in Vancouver, BC) I decided to check out the website. It was a bit overwhelming so I emailed them and received a detailed response from Sunil. I had so many questions and he answered everything promptly, honestly and kindly. I never felt pressured to spend tons money, and I ended up ordering shin guards, a mouth guard and hand wraps. He made this experience so seamless, even from another province! Figured it was a one off so I had them replace with exact same sweater, only to experience the exact same situation a week later. I was told this has never happened before but after speaking to several people in a camp of over 1000 people, I was informed this has happened to many. When speaking to manager about said situation, I was confronted with hostility and called a liar by manager (Kelly). I understand that warranty is not offered on top of warranty but I was unable to even voice my concerns with inferior product without being shamed for doing so. In saying that, I would not recommend shopping here or any Jobsite Workwear, as they sell products from 2nd and 3rd parties and refuse to take responsibility for faulty products. The Running Room is a great Edmonton success story. The business was founded right here in our…read moreregion and has now grown to be an international store so this makes me really happy to support them. The Running Room carries brand name clothing, shoes, as well as running accessories. They also hold running clinics throughout the year which is a great way to meet people with similar interests and abilities to your own. The St. Albert location is just off the main road (St. Albert trail) beside a 7-11 in a very dated building. As old as the building looks on the outside it feels older on the inside. It is dark and dingy even in the middle of a sunny afternoon. There is also only one change room so if there are multiple people wanting to try clothes on it can take a while. I find that this location has a smaller selection of items than are offered at other stores. I also think they don't get many sizing in for each product, so lots of times items are only available in really really big or really really small. In general I find the items are on the more expensive side; with every clothing item over $50 your money won't go very far. When I was in on the weekend the staff were very unhelpful - there were two young girls who were chatting at the till area while I wandered around for 20+ min. When I approached them about something they answered with the quickest response and pointed to the corner where the items were that I needed. The major positive about this location is the proximity to the Sturgeon River. This is the perfect location for running as all of the gorgeous trails in St. Albert are linked by the one that runs along the river. This gives the running clinics multiple options for trails, adding variety to their programs.
