I stopped in today to get a resistance band to add to the other ones I have. I wasn't sure if they were open, to be honest, and even when I noticed the door was open I was unsure because it was so dark, and the Open sign was not on. But perhaps that is why they left the door open if their sign wasn't working. The dudes looked surprised when I came in... unsure if that was because I was the only customer, or if they don't think women of my size can work out. When I had a question about the rubber coating on the dumbbells and why they smelled so awful, no one emailed me back. My house smells like a tire factory. The sales rep pushed these on me, and I told him I was concerned about the possible odor from the beginning, and he didn't care. Disgusting. Also, my Bosu Ball they sent WAS 100% USED! The box was nasty, torn, ripped, and the ball was all scuffed up and dirty. **** SEE PHOTOS!! **** As soon as I opened the box and saw this, I contacted my sales rep. Several WEEKS went on and they NEVER RESPONDED to any of my emails. After MULTIPLE emails and messages, I got someone to mail me a new ball. Unfortunately, when this other one arrived, it was ALSO USED!! *** SEE PHOTOS *** Torn, faded box, and nasty, dirty, and scratched bosa ball. When I called customer service, I spoke with the most unprofessional and rude person. He cut me off multiple times, spoke over me and argued as I was speaking, and then he hung up on me. I then spoke with the sales manager, who told me "you have no idea what you're talking about, we don't sell used items" and as I was asking him if he looked at the multiple photos I emailed him over the last several weeks that he never responded to, he also hung up on me! While I don't need to be accosted in person with a hard sell, we would've appreciated the guy getting up from behind the desk to give us information rather than calling out to us across the floor. I was looking for a body solid system G10B and came across this company's listing on ebay. Due to the corona virus they are not taking new order as body solid is closed. I sent them an email asking about the system and received a quote from Inside sales manager M.Hunt. He gave me the pricing that is $600 more than what listed on ebay. Upon mentioning about the listing on ebay they changed the listing on ebay and came back saying the price is higher and i can't even order it. Sorry but that's not a good business practice. I know due to the virus many people are buying gym equipment. That's why salespeople are not liked, just because of a few that do bad things to customers. I have a workout bench from Body Solid that has a leg curl attachment which ultimately broke. I purchased the bench about 25 years ago and noticed the lifetime warranty on the Body Solid website so I sent them an inquiry. Of course I didn't have the receipt but that didn't matter as Body Solid stepped up to the plate and replaced the broken leg curl attachment without any questions asked. I sent pictures of the broken part and they replaced it. If I need any more exercise equipment in the future it will be Body Solid only. read more

This was so shady! I'm that guy today who had a horrible experience with these people. Squat rig was on sale and pulled the trigger. It was on back order it turns out and was fine with that fact even though it was an extra week or two that wasn't publicized. TODAY though I get a call from Terry- the messenger where he tells me that the price has gone up suddenly due to what ever the reasoning is from the CEO. He can't adhere to the agreed upon price "what they took out of my banking account" because of some internal processing and the price has doubled. Wouldn't do the right thing, let me rephrase "can't due to the CEO and small print bull shit" which I get the small print saves them but as a company do the right thing!!!!! Care about the solo garage gyms because I had 4 people calling you guys after they tried out my rig in-person once I received it. I wish I could have tried out the rig but asked for a full-refund and Terry approved it. I guess I'm glad they could do one right thing and give back the money they already took out. I've been lifting weights for awhile now and recently slightly sprained my wrist (unrelated), so needed to find something to support it while lifting. I looked on the FFO website and saw that they have lifting gloves with wrist support and while I don't wear gloves to lift, figured I would deal with it since my main concern was my wrist. So I headed over to the store. As I was looking at the gloves, Eric approached me and I explained to him what I was looking for. He showed me the velcro wrist wraps and explained the benefits of using them over the gloves.They turned out to be exactly what I needed and gave me better support than the gloves would have. It was nice to walk into a store with great customer service, which many places are lacking these days. Eric was very knowledgeable and I liked the fact that he was able to fully explain benefits of the product from his own personal experience. Poor after-sale customer service. I ordered a SPRI 360 Pro Step. It arrived intact. However, the accompanying DVD instruction video was flawed in manufacturing and not playable. I contacted Fitness Factory and they told me that the manufacturer did not supply them with extra DVDs. They suggested I contact SPRI myself to resolve my issue. I was put off by this response. I have just spent $150.00 yet they wouldn't take the time to secure me a replacement DVD. They showed me that they are all about the sale, but not the after purchase customer care. I just spent about 550 bucks here on some stuff for the house because I got tired of driving to the gym 4 days a week. For that I got An olympic bar, 300 something lbs of weight, an EZ bar, olympic dumbells, 4 collars, a squat rack, ez grips (for easy starts when doing dumbell flys and such off a bar), 2 spring collars, a weight tree and 2 extra 25-lb weights.
