However, if you're not a very particular person (and seeking a specific brand) you should be able to find most of what you need here. For most stuff, brand doesn't matter. For other stuff it does... so check out here first and then acquire any additional items online. What I really like about this place, aside from the affordable prices, is the staff. They have always been very friendly, helpful, and honest. I asked about a few specific items and they guy lamented that they didn't carry it and I'd be better off shopping online. He didn't try to cross-sell me something I didn't want, or pressure me into ordering through them... I like that. It's a way of doing business that is going to keep me coming back to them in the future. Also, they are more than willing to help you carry stuff to the register or out to your car; such service! I'm a big fan of Fitness Factory and will be returning to them again in the future as my garage box takes shape (pardon the pun).

I went in for a one on one appointment and was looking at several machines (part of me still wants the machine that reminds me of the mimic machine Sigourney Weaver used in Aliens, even though I couldn't keep my balance on it). The staff was super professional and helped me find a machine which would work best for me. I wound up choosing the cardio strider, and I LOVE it. I used it faithfully from the day it was delivered until I got a shoulder injury and had to stop using it until I could get cleared by my doctor to use it again, but without using the arms, only using the feet (the injury is my fault for pushing through pain I shouldn't have pushed through and has NOTHING to do with the machine. It was purely my own stupidity!), but I am back to using it. I HATE exercise, and I mean HATE it, but this machine is actually kind of fun and makes me want to exercise. So when I get on it, I don't mind the exercise and that's the first time in over ten years I've been able to say that about exercising! It's easy to use and doesn't strain my joints, nor is it hard on my back (I have serious sciatica issues), and I can use this machine for twenty minutes or more EASILY and at the end of each session I finish with pride at my accomplishment because I am usually able to go 2 - 3.5 miles. If I were to try walking or use an actual bike, I wouldn't be able to come CLOSE to that! Oh yes, they stressed SEVERAL times while I was in the store not to overdo things when first using the machine. I did try not to overdo things, but I was super excited to start using the machine and was super proud of myself for how hard I was working, and was managing to lose some much needed weight that yeah, I overdid it. So now that I've been cleared to use the machine again, I do take care not to overdo things and if I start feeling pain, I assess it (my physical trainer explained the difference between the "push through the pain" kind of pain, and actual pain you should not push through) and make the decision whether to stop completely for the time being or whether to just ease up and go slower/lower the resistance level. But I refuse to give up as I need to do this for my health and weight and again, I actually LIKE using this thing! Thank you Precor/Top Fitness! You guys are AWESOME and I LOVE my cardio strider!!!

It is a warehouse and store. It's nice because you can look around by yourself, but there is competent and friendly help there. The prices can be amazing during their sales - sometimes better than what is seen online. Body Solid products have one of the best warranties out there - which is another plus. And I had an issue with something I bought there, I was taken care of quickly. So - I'm a very satisfied customer - and plan on coming back.

Johnson Fitness referred us to the manufacturer, and basically wanted nothing to do with it. My husband replaced the entire motor himself and the machine STILL shut down. When we asked Johnson Firness if we could trade it in, the sales person at the DG location said they "were not really interested in it as a trade in" and acted like he couldn't care less about our dissatisfaction. We junked it and went down the street and bought some new equipment from a store with much better customer service. Part of the reason I am so mad is that they could have steered us away from a bad product in the first place, everyone we talk to now says that brand of treadmill is a piece of junk.......

Justin was very friendly and personable and it was a very painless process from start to finish. I ordered the treadmill and received a call a couple weeks later and was able to set up my delivery. The delivery service called me the day before and gave me a 3 hour time frame. The delivery service came on time, removed my old treadmill, and set up the new treadmill in under 30 minutes. The Horizon 7.0 AT is super quiet, has simple and easy to use functions, and is great to run on. I am very pleased with this unit and look forward to more great runs!

I settled on the M2 and opted to have the unit delivered because it weighs a ton and that service was very timely and prompt. No cable guy experience of having to wait between the hours of 10 am to 7 pm, for example. Now putting together the entire unit involved two guys reading instructions for a what seemed to be a thousand pieces! I was already stressing on how I would dismantle this for a move? One of the installation reps. said that I could call for disassemble/reassemble services, so that must occur frequently. Whew! FYI, these guys worked from let's say 9 am to 12:30 pm - so make sure to provide lunch and tip them accordingly. Overall, I'm Inspired by my M2 to stay reasonably fit. This definitely allows me to keep eating and Yelping. On a side note: After running 12 consecutive Chicago Marathons, I decided to focus more on my eating and drinking (which was subpar at the time) and that's how I became a Yelp elite - which is not easy.

The delivery process was two-steps, and the time to delivery was several weeks, likely due to the time required to refurbish a unit. My elliptical was very carefully packed and first delivered to my garage on a pallet. A couple days later, technicians came and set the unit up in the room I use as a gym. I've found it impossible to find dumbbells anywhere and finally found what I needed online, but that was weeks ago and they still aren't here. After trying to make do with my wimpy weights for a peloton bootcamp class I called Fitness Warehouse to see what they had in stock. I was delighted to hear they had weights of every size. I asked them how to purchase (I've basically forgotten how to shop during these times) and they told me to come on by. I put on my mask and gloves and made my way to Fitness Warehouse, which is open til 6pm during the week. I was greeted a few friendly men who showed me a few different options. I was thrilled they had had exactly what I needed and weren't price gouging the weights like the rest of the industry. They were also nice enough to throw them in my trunk for me. I stopped at weights, but they had tons of cardio equipment, balls, kettleballs, bands and everything else one needs for an in home workout. They weren't wearing masks themselves today so I was glad I had mine on, but kept a good distance and I felt safe shopping there.
