I was disappointed with the condition of the flowers when they arrived. Several two out of the three peonies were dead, one flower had all of its petals fallen off, and another was already fully bloomed instead of fresh. I expected the bouquet to arrive in much better condition. read more

I brought a plant that I received 24 years ago for my sons wake. having it all these years, I did not want to take chances killing it by doing myself. This was my first and last purchase with the store. I made a birthday order online for my loved one, and I originally thought how convenient and great it was that I was able to purchase online and schedule my delivery. However, upon delivery, as you can see in the photos, I did not get what I asked for. The picture online did not match at all. The driver was great and was very communicative and friendly, which is why I gave the two stars rather then the one. Moreover, when I called, it was explained to me that 1. They substitute with that they have and that I was given "more expensive flowers," 2. "the sizes for the flower cake stay the same," the difference is in the flowers picked, and 3. The website is a third party they use, so the "flowers are photoshopped." To me, that is false advertisement and I definitely would not recommend this place for online purchases. You would be better going in person to ensure what you are buying, or if you have a need to purchase online, then just order an Edible Arrangement since they are more accurate with their pictures on their website. read more

Wedding was September 23, 2023. We visited the florist at the beginning of the summer and they listened so wonderfully. Things we felt strongly about were encouraged. Things we had no idea about were met with imaginative, creative solutions. Once we left the shop, we never had to think about it again. This business has been our go to florist for a lifetime of homecoming and prom and now weddings. They traveled to bring everything to the church. I had absolutely no doubt it was going to be phenomenal. They superseded my expectations. The compliments we received on the artistry and quality were numerous. By being so professional and talented, they took so much off of the family's plate, that this was one vendor we never had to give a second thought to. Best of the best. I called Berwyn's Violet Flower Shop, talked to a real person, and got, real, immediate service! I needed to send flowers to a friend at Loyola hospital, not realizing there is more than one hospital. She was sympathetic and quoted a wonderful price for a casket spray and a wreath. When we arrived at the funeral home and I saw the spray and wreath I was amazed. Violet Flower Shop has amazing customer service. I received a bouquet of flowers at work on Friday and unfortunately some of the flowers were less than perfect. I am not sure if it was the freezing temps outside during the delivery process or what but the flowers were not looking very happy or alive. My boyfriend ordered through FTD.com and followed up with them concerning the disappointment in the flowers. The next day Violet Flower Shop called me to get the details on the flowers. They were very nice and said they would fix the problem as soon as I was back at work on Monday. I got a new arrangement delivered to work bright and early and they were stunning. The flowers were bright and colorful and very much alive. They smell amazing and I could not be happier with my new flowers. Was going to buy a ready made average looking set from Jewels AND I'm soooo glad I googled florists in the area. It was a last minute job that took 20 minutes. They are a small shop on 16th street in Berywn but they know what they are doing when it comes to weddings. My flowers for my wedding were all done by them. Kim helped us and she was very nice. The pricing is competitive I would say even a good deal! I live near the area and have my now husband always gets me flowers from there. The flowers are always so fresh and beautiful and really last along time. When I was shopping around for flowers for our wedding I thought it would be too expensive for our budget. To my surprise when I went for a consultation they were very budget friendly and was quoted less than at every other place. Marlene, the owner who helped with the flowers is so nice and sweet. She offered suggestions and even genuinely cared about making our special day perfect! The day of the wedding the flowers arrived beautifully and with a special handwritten note from Marlene with her well wishes. Even at the church she personally helped and put the ribbons and hand delivered the boutonnières. She is awesome! Everyone commented on how beautiful my bouquet looked as well as our tall Centerpieces at the reception hall. Called on a Monday to order flowers for that Friday. The woman on the phone seemed confused, so I suggested ordering flowers through their website. She recommended it, and guaranteed the bouquet would be delivered before my mom left work Friday afternoon. At 4pm on Friday, after not hearing anything from my mom, I called the flower shop to make sure there were no problems. The same confused woman answered, and couldn't find my order at all. Then another woman came on the phone. (I'm sorry, I didn't ask for names, but also none were offered to me.) The second woman was brusque and condescending, implying at first that the reason they couldn't find my order was because I had placed it on a different website and called them mistakenly. Throughout the conversation she interrupted me constantly and raised her voice. She also kept repeating "we only have half the order" or "it didn't come completely through" like that was somehow my fault. She then started yelling that the address I had given her wasn't "a real address" and THAT was the reason they hadn't delivered the flowers. I said, "if the address was incorrect, couldn't you have contacted me and asked for a different one?" She was offended I asked. Ultimately they were able to get the order together and delivered before my mom left work, but the woman on the phone was so rude that she made the whole experience bad. The only reason there any stars at all is because the bouquet was beautiful and they were able to rush ship it. read more

I placed an order onto the website to be delivered at my moms job something nice for her, checked out and payed. Everything was fine until I got a phone call from them saying they won't be able to do the flowers because they no longer had the vase from the picture or do delivery because they don't do delivery that "far" when the website no where states they have a radius. The rude lady then kept saying she would be keeping 3 dollars for the process but what process I asked she said to contact me for the inconvenience. No where in the website says they have a radius or say they don't do full refund. This isn't my first time them messing up my order they're catfish and not worth it, if I can give 0 stars I would! read more
