But the few who have had bad experiences can't wait to post about theirs. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. Jeff is a very nice man and tries hard to help people as best he can. I have had a scooter, or multiple scooters, for over 10 years and have been to Gem at least four times during that period. I have been there for repairs and for purchases. Granted you might pay a little more there, than you would if you purchased on the Internet, but you would have your scooter or wheelchair right there on the spot. You wouldn't have to wait days or weeks to get it. Isn't it worth a couple more dollars to have someone explain using it to you rather than opening a box and knowing nothing. And the products he sells are all quality products. How can someone expect him to take their off brand low quality product make them into something they're not, for a couple of dollars. Yesterday I went in for a repair. After Jeff pointed out to me all the things that would have to be fixed, and the cost of each of them, I decided to purchase a new one. Yes it was an upsell. But it made sense. He showed me all that he would have to do with my scooter and it would still be an older scooter. Now I have a brand new one and I'm very happy. As I said, I have owned almost the same scooter for about 10 years, and yet Jeff was able to show me features yesterday that I never knew my scooter had. I couldn't get that from a box placed in front of my door. For anyone on the fence, give Gem a chance. They are a very reputable company and everyone there will do the best they can do to help you.

Honest and lovely people work here…read more I forgot my mother's milk storage bags and if you are also pumping milk, then you know how it will feel if you don't get that stuff out of you!!!! I watched calmly as the staff slowly taught the two elderly people in front of me how and why they should take their medications. Then one of them had to call the doctors office to confirm another prescription. This is actually wonderful. Imagine your parent trying to figure out their dozens of medications. This is so kind of them. When it was my turn, no they do not carry this item nor do they carry baby bottles to help me transport the milk back. I felt sad- does this mean I will need to dump all the milk? If they didn't carry, likely most pharmacies in the area won't carry it either. Then the staffer was so kind that she told me who does carry it! She knows her friend working at a close by pharmacy has it. A-class pharmacy!!! Helpful, thoughtful and patient. I can't ask for better people. It isn't what the store has or doesn't have. It is who the store hires that makes a difference.
