Yesterday, my 93 year old mom's chairlift stopped working. I called them yesterday at around 5:00. At 8:15 in the morning, Nick was here. Due to the COVID-19 issue, he wore a protective mask and gloves. He was very thorough in checking the chairlift. I have never met a more honest serviceman. He was very professional, explained everything he was doing in great detail and actually requested I be there with him so he can show me everything that was being done and needed to be done. I don't think it took him more than 30 minutes to take the chair apart, fix it and put it back together. By the time he was finished, the chairlift was running better than it did before. They are also an Acorn distributor. Full installs but they also repair all other lifts. I have a Bruno and he had no issues fixing the problems it had. Let me start by saying that working with Stairlifts Pro was an absolute pleasure. Nick was very helpful and patient, and made what I thought would be a long process very quick and easy. My father has a bad hip and he is getting up there in age, so a friend recommended we get an Acorn stairlift. My wife and I searched online for stairlift installation in Brooklyn and found this website. I gave a call and right away Nick was able to provide us with with helpful information to get started. Had a stairlift installed for my mom today. The installation was led by Nick and went very smoothly, he was wonderfully pleasant. He took time to explain the use of the chair, warranty info, maintenance and upkeep very thoroughly to my parents. He was very professional, knowledgable, and very neat (there was nothing to clean up after they left). Nick and his partner were amazing!!!! We needed a stairlift that had been installed by another company removed. The company would dismantle the lift but not remove it from our home. I went with Stairlifts Pro based on the reviews. When I contacted Nick, he was very patient and attentive. I wanted to get the stair lift installed for my mother before leaving on a trip. Nick worked with our schedule to get it done in time. He only had a "used" stair life at the time, but he assured me it was like new and it totally was! Not only did he get it installed in a very timely manner, but demonstrated how to use it and assured us mom would get used to it (she is a pro now).
