Best pizza in town! We eat here often, and the food and service is always consistent. The mozzarella sticks are my favorite appetizer along with the fried pickles. The cheese fries are really good too. We have tried virtually every pizza on the menu, and I recommend them all. This last visit we went with sandwiches. The Fitters Club is delicious. It's loaded with ham and turkey with crisp bacon. Yum! The Grilled Chicken sandwich is good but not extraordinary. It is just nice to have something grilled on the menu. I stopped by on my way to Osage Beach for a conference. The staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered the boneless wings with the mango habanero sauce. It was good, but they were not particularly spicy. Overall, it was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The food here has never been terrible, but not great either. The service here has always been adequate. My biggest issue and turn off for Fitter's are a couple of other things. Number 1, the men's restrooms. For decent sized place this place has 2 restrooms. One downstairs, and one upstairs. While usually pretty dirty, the downstairs men's room at least has a stall for the toilet, and a wall between the sink and urinal. The upstairs restroom? Not so much. It's literally just a toilet, 2 urinals, and a sink. No walls, no stalls, just all open. Also it's laid out so that anyone walking past can catch a full view of anything going on in there when the door is open. I've been to better men's rooms in Korean juicy clubs. Number 2, the music. I enjoy some background music at a bar, but Fitter's is not a dance club, or a "club" of any type...but this place likes to crank the music up to 11 after 9 or 10pm for god knows what reason, which turns any conversation you're trying to have into a literal shouting match. It's the same outside on the patio too. There's no escaping it. It's definitely not a place to have a nice relaxing drink and conversation after the music gets turned up. Overall, for me Fitters is not a bad place to go grab some lunch, or dinner and a drink....specifically before 9pm if you enjoy hearing, and can either hold it until you get home or have just no boundaries in a public restroom. read more

We went on a recommendation from a friend. This place was good. The burgers were phenomenal, the appetizers were good, and the service was fast. Like most places in Warrensburg, Fitter's is popular because it's one of the only options. It's where the "cool kids" hang out for drinks. The drinks are usually good and moderately priced, the music is Top 40, the food... well... Fitter's food isn't horrible, but it's usually better when you're drunk. I've gone there sober and regretted it. Some things on the menu are great; others, not so much. If you're looking to get drunk, go to Fitter's. Keep in mind this is a college town. So when you review the hotspots you take other things into consideration. The ambience was great well-suited for the demographic they are marketing to. The food surprisingly enough is better than average bar food. I would have gave them a four, but the service was less than adequate. No silverware when food arrived. One of the better places to eat in Warrensburg.. I've been in town for a few weeks and finally got around to trying Fitter's Pub today. Located on Pine Street, right in the middle of all the action downtown, I had a feeling right away that I was probably going to like this place. I was greeted immediately as soon as I walked inside by my server and seated at a booth. It was a little after 4pm and there were only a few people eating at the time but that's when I like to try out a new place. The atmosphere inside is definitely something I enjoyed. Laid back and easygoing. The kind of place where you could see yourself becoming a regular and getting to know some people in town. The entire staff looked young and friendly. Nice artwork on the walls. Large TVs above the bar showing ESPN and ESPN news. This place has everything you could want. When I told my server that it was my first time to Fitter's Pub he recommended I try the pizza. I ordered the 14" Fitter's Special. "Loaded with extra slices of pepperoni and extra cheese." It came out to my table about ten minutes later, steaming hot and ready to devour. I wasn't really expecting a great pizza but that's what I got. It was definitely something I would order again. The side plates and shakers of red peppers and parmesan cheese that were offered to me by my server and brought to my table before the pizza arrived were a nice added touch. I like those little things about a place. Makes you feel welcome. Fitter's Pub is actually really good. Don't let the fact that it is also a bar deter you from giving this place a shot. They have great food. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is great. Downtown Warrensburg is the best part of town in my opinion. Give this place a chance. You won't regret it! *** My 2nd Visit *** I came in on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy some of the football games and felt like trying the pulled pork nachos. They were just average to me. The portion was large, but there was just something about them I didn't like. The pulled pork was fatty and had no flavor whatsoever. There was also way too much barbecue sauce drenched over my nachos. It was overpowering and just drowned out the taste of everything else. This might have been okay if the barbecue sauce was particularly flavorful, but this one was not. The staff wasn't as friendly as my first time either. As a result of my 2nd visit and my overall opinion of this place now, I have lowered my rating from 4 stars down to 3 stars. This is more of a Bar & Grill type environment with a horseshoe bar in the middle. 6-7 booths, 2 large round tables, 3-4 4 top tables and some high top tables on the right side of the bar. I love this place. This is my "CHEERS". Bartenders are really friendly and funny. Owner and his family are in there often and they are really nice ppl. Service is pretty good most of the time, only had a few problems with slow servers, but everyone seems to be great. Even though it has the bar smack dab in the middle, it is actually family friendly. On weekends, mostly during school season, this becomes the "Before bar" and after about 8, slowly the crowd gets younger and younger. Never had a problem with anyone in there though, the environment is so casual that everyone seems to just be content. I think there is dancing upstairs on weekend nights, but never been up there. read more

Always wary of taking kids into a restaurant with a bar as the centerpiece. This was ok and family appropriate. Try the smoked wings. Let me say again...try the smoked wings. First time in Warrensburg, I think. Picked out this place off of Yelp to meet up with an old friend for dinner. Service & food was great. Our server, Ami, was awesome. Very attentive with ticket times for drinks & food great. My order was wrong but maybe I said club sandwich instead of wrap...I don't know, but Ami insisted on making it right & getting me what I wanted. They got the order replaced really quick. Great wrap, by the way, full of meat & just enough crunch from the veggies & bacon. I would get this again. The chips & salsa was a nice portion to share with three people (probably even four). I usually expect the salsa to be mild (probably to please everyone) but this was a little spicy & I liked it. I think the drinks felt a bit watered down. My second drink was a vodka with soda & grenadine but just from the color I could tell it there was way too much grenadine making it a bit too sweet. It is quite noisy so they could use some sound baffling. These two things kept my vote just on the low end. Otherwise, it's a great local pub. Certainly worth a try! read more
