This place is so special. It is by far the best bar in the area. If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting F&F you absolutely must head by for a drink. Nate is an impeccable bartender, he is so knowledgeable and willing to make suggestions to accommodate even the pickiest palate. They have a few snack options to have with your drinks. We've tried the charcuterie board and I've seen the fried cheese. The decor at F&F takes me straight inside a scene of Mad Men. It's perfect for a date night, or low key girls night. I'll update this review with more photos of the inside next time we stop by. In all honesty I'm hoping it stays a bit on the down low. It's a hidden gem and that makes it even better read more

I truly love the ambiance of the lounge, perfect spot to bring a group or even just by yourself. The bartender was amazing, his service , conversations , and his skills! The drink menu was full of creative drinks, and they also have bar snacks. I had the charcuterie board for 2, the pepper jam was the best I've ever had hands down! I ordered the cherry, and it was Delicious! A very nice cherry after taste. I was not expecting to have such a great experience! We will be back for sure! read more

Fitzgerald and Faulkner is a hidden gem in downtown Graham. Really hidden. The first time that I went, I had a hard time finding it but it's on the second floor of a building so you have to go through a bit of a non-descript door and up a flight of stairs. Once you get up there it's a very quaint atmosphere. It reminds me of a 1920s feel. The charcuterie board is pretty good and the drinks are a little pricey but always tasty. It's a great place to go to have a conversation with friends or a date because it's nice and quiet, despite the fact that there will be tables of customers. The service is also good. I don't have anything bad to say. read more

A great cocktail bar. I ordered off of their weird tiki drink menu and really enjoyed my Mai Tai - made with fresh juice. My wife got a "not dirty" martini that was made with orange bitters and was crystal clear. We got a plate of hummus that was above average too. This is a great local place for drinks and appetizers. It's in the small town of Graham, NC the drinks are all hand crafted and the bar staff is wonderful. They explain everything to you, talk about the small bar and how they have came up with great recipes. It has a 1920's feel. The music is a little off but the gloomy dark feel is awesome. I really liked the place. There are not many places like this. We drove 1.15mins to check it out. We will for sure be back!! I was also impressed with the cheese plate. My wife and I are regulars here since the re-open. Nate and his staff are professional, amiable, and capable. Nate makes all the drinks and the menu himself and only. He is a veteran of the cocktail industry, having lived in various areas of the country running drink programs at restaurants all over. His three best drinks are gin Martini made with Plymouth, Old Fashioned, and Manhattan, roughly in this order. He has a number of seasonal drinks that change out as the weather changes, which is certainly welcome. For vittles, get the hoe cakes! Fresh, tasty snacks pair well with the drinks, which by all means get first billing. This restaurant is worth the detour if you're coming anywhere by Burlington, Greensboro, or Hillsborough. This is my new personal escape from living in Graham. This place is awesome! The bartender was great and pretty much able to make whatever drink you wanted. I love the atmosphere, it makes me forget that I live in graham. I truly hope that it's one of those places that stick around for a while. The clothes are pretty casual but I'd still consider it an "upscale" bar compared to the other ones near downtown. I feel like everyone should come here! It's always a plus when the employees are cute . Definitely recommend this place to everyone! read more

Best cocktails I've had anywhere, and the bartender is also one of the best I've had! He designs the rotating menu and it is always really fun listening to how he came up with the drink names and recipes--there's always some historical or personal influence. Unless you live nearby and don't mind going there only to be told that they did 'last call' 2 hours early because 'it's been a slow day' then don't waste your time. I convinced 7 friends to join me and drive from Raleigh to Graham to visit this really cool craft cocktail bar. I got there first and was greeted with 'I'm sorry, we already did last call'. It was midnight. I questioned the timing and was told, 'it's been a slow day'. Here I was with a party of 8 and was told to take a hike after a 45 min drive. I noted that the bar's yelp page indicated they were open until 2am. The bar tender replied that he would 'mention it to the owner'. What service. read more

Hello Jason C., A friend of mine and I came out of the famous Graham Theater the other night saw your sign just outside of the door. We walked up the stairs and all at once we felt the vibe of the whole place. The room was perfectly lit and people were having a wonderful time talking and having drinks together. It was a feeling like we were in another place in time. The calm inviting energy made us want to stay but we were not sure if we were interrupting a special gathering. If you do not drink alcohol but love up- scale "plates" and great atmosphere can you still be a quest and enjoy this wonderful space? Are we welcomed to find a space for our, lets say a small party of six and order drinks and "plates" from the bar? I just want to make sure that non alcoholic drinkers are welcome. I stumbled onto this place while looking for something new my wife and I could try. I have lived in Graham for 9 years and have watched the revitalization of the downtown area. Fitzgerald and Faulkner is a great example of that. It was a wonderful experience. The drinks were next level and the small plates were not really that small. I will be telling all my friends about this place, as well as, returning myself. The only thing it is missing as a speakeasy is a doorman and a secret password to get in. read more

Worthy of a 6th star! Amazing ambiance, particularly if you are looking for a dimly lit, sultry vibe. Bartenders were highly attentive, social and beyond inviting...made us feel at home on our very first visit. Cocktails were unbelievable and are all designed in-house...the Penniwise is insane! Eccletic group of patrons, which we liked. Only downside is that the hours are currently limited to Thurs/Fri/Sat nights. They seemed to know everyone. We started with the fried polenta along with the fresh bread. Wish the oil had a bit more seasoning but nice little start to the meal For my meal I had the chicken parm which was a huge portion along with the fettuccine. We came for…read moretheir very popular Bloody Mary's that they serve with all the frills on a Sunday and the owners and staff have been so friendly and welcoming. They have several events throughout the week, including dart tournaments, karaoke, live music.. Shout-out to the bartender Anthony for his energy and awesome sense of humor. Definitely going to recommend to all my friends!
