Katy was patient with us as we are both challenged with the new technology available today. Katy guided us to the exact device that we needed to accomplish our goals. Both Katy and Ren were competent, friendly, very accommodating and provided assistance in a professional manner. A sincere "Thank you" for the outstanding care that both Katy and Ren provided us by going above and beyond to ensure our complete satisfaction. We will be recommending Bust Buy in Amarillo to anyone that desires quality merchandise at a reasonable price, with professional and patient associates and the overall quick service. M&B Graves

I will not be shipping hest buy again…read more We went in to purchase a 700.00 camera kit for our upcoming vacation. They didn't have it set up on the camera stage but said they had one similar to test out before purchase. I went to pick it up and test it out the employee advised not to because the alarm would sound (it was very sensitive) I asked if he could help us find one we could handle so I could test it out. He advised "all of the batteries are dead" I asked him to change them out. He advised the alarm would sound and they didn't have the key to release it and change it out/charge it. Why have cameras up for display and to be tested and not keep up with charging the batteries or changing them out? I asked if I didn't like it after buying it could would they take a return,he advised yes for 14 days. They tried to up sell me on the warranty and didn't even know what it covered, didn't even know what the manufactures warranty covered. Against every cell in my body screaming "walk away and don't buy it" I bought it, only to return it the very next morning. Upon returning it they kept almost a 100.00 of my money for a restocking fee... had I been able to test it out at the store before buying I wouldn't be out 100.00 because I wouldn't have bought it! They have gone downhill and are below subpar for customer service and the condition of their store/what's available to test out before purchase. Save your time/money and order online through another company. Best buy is shit for customer service

First off, Amarillo Texans are about 50/50 on board with masks in store. Target Team Members were all complying, but the locals were wild - beware. One woman who did not wear mask at all was visibly ill and coughing all around the store... I hope the Team Members still get hazard pay. As a store, this is a massive location with huge selections and full inventory! It's a bit messy, but it's to be expected since the local patrons all look like hard shoppers. For the volume and clientele, I applaud this Target's management team for keeping it together! Parking wasn't too difficult, and lines for cashiers were manageable though nobody seemed to understand 6' social distancing. Only 4 self checkout stands.

Extremely Poor Customer Service…read more My experience with Target manager Rocio at the Amarillo, Texas Target was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, Amarillo only has one Target, so having such a poor experience with management is especially frustrating. Her customer service was horrible, and the way she spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. I was trying to return an item, and instead of making any effort to help me or find a solution, she refused to work with me and showed no concern about my situation. What made the experience even more frustrating was that Target corporate actually called while I was there and requested to speak with Rocio directly. Rocio refused to get on the phone with them and stated that corporate couldn't tell her what to do. I was shocked that a store manager would refuse to speak with corporate when they were specifically requesting to speak with her about the situation. As a manager, I expected much better customer service, professionalism, and willingness to resolve a customer's concern. Unfortunately, Rocio's attitude and treatment of me were completely unacceptable. Since Amarillo only has one Target, customers don't have another Target location in town to choose from. I sincerely hope Target takes this complaint seriously and addresses the way customers are being treated by management at this location.

To avoid possible legal action I am calling the following an imaginary event…read more In 1979 Alvarez Yairi issued a 50th anniversary limited edition guitar in a series of 900. R and I were working at Billy's Band Aid at the time. Three of these were ordered and I bought the most beautiful of the three, They were amazing - sound like a grand piano, huge overtones, the best acoustic guitar I've ever owned and I've owned many, including a Martin D-28 that I've had for thirty years. I bought my Yairi on layaway. The other two sold quicky. R approached me, asking about a surface transducer that I'd mounted on the guitar and asked if he could show it to a customer. I dug out the guitar from the back and brought it up. I later found the pickup on the counter. Always eager to make a commission and completely devoid of ethics, that SOB sold my guitar to that customer. I was halfway through paying it off and I'd sent in the registration card. Retrieving the guitar from the customer was impossible so Billy reordered one. It was not as beautiful as the one I had selected. As for R, Billy's business largely depended on him. The guy was a great salesman. No reprimand was given. That event, which I am calling imaginary, has stuck with me for 42 years. Who knows, but perhaps this imaginary person has since found Jesus. But I would not trust him for anything. I should also note that some time after I left, R set up a competing store, took his customers with him and put Billy out of business. What a guy.
