All of their Customer bathrooms are out of order. I will not be coming back to the store.

Kohl's - The main reason I visit Kohl's: Amazon Returns!

I've been a Kohl's customer for many, many years, but no longer. I doubt I will buy anything here…read moreagain. They so rarely had my size in Levis that I just stopped looking, anyway. I can go to the Levis website and order the exact pair I want in my size and they will be on my doorstep in a day or two. So why bother coming to Kohl's anymore? Amazon Returns. A few days ago, I was here for an Amazon return and they handed me a coupon for 20% off my purchase at Kohl's. So I thought I'd use it. In a nutshell, that 20% off coupon Amazon gives you is bullshit. Allow me to explain... I went to the area where all of the men's sportswear clothing used to be to discover that there wasn't much to choose from. There was a lot of Champion gear, but their track pants felt like burlap. Seriously. Burlap. Nevertheless, I found a nice pair of Under Armor joggers. Good enough. I also found a Yellowstone board game (a gift for my parents - they love the TV show - shush, don't tell'em I got'em that until after this Christmas). My wife got some bras. So three totally unrelated items: pants, bras, and board game. While checking out, however, we were informed that we wouldn't be getting 20% off of anything because the coupon wouldn't work for the things we wanted. It says it all right there, in that tiny font wording on the coupon that no naked eye can read, the giant list of everything in the store that the 20% doesn't apply to. After I took the coupon home and put it under my microscope so I could read it, I would venture to say that the 20% off coupon does not work for 95% of the stuff for sale within Kohl's. After paying a lot more than we thought we would have to pay for our stuff, we were walking out when I noticed that there was a second larger location for the rest of the men's sportswear on the other side of the registers, hidden behind all their Christmas stuff. Silly me! Why didn't I just look behind the mound of Christmas swag back where the women's clothes used to be for my men's pants?! This store sucks. Unless there are some big changes, I doubt Kohl's will be around much longer. This place continues to go downhill, year after year. I seriously doubt that putting a Sephora in the middle of the store will save them. I remember when Blockbuster Video tried to save themselves by having a Radio Shack outlet that sold a small selection of cords, batteries, adapters, etc. in some of their stores. That did not work out for either of them in the end, and I predict history repeating itself in the end with Kohl's (Sephora may survive, though). Hopefully, by the time Kohl's goes under Amazon will have a drone service available to pick up my returns in my driveway.

We coordinated outfits and paid for professional makeup in advance to be fully prepared. When we arrived, we were told the studio was over an hour behind schedule because one employee arrived late and another did not show up. Due to the delay, we were forced to cancel the appointment, as my daughter would not have been able to complete the shoot before leaving for the airport. All we received was an apology. There was no accommodation, rescheduling priority, or compensation, despite the inconvenience and financial loss. The cost of the makeup alone exceeded the price of the photo shoot, making this experience especially frustrating. Scheduling and staffing issues happen, but when clients invest time, money, and careful coordination for a meaningful moment, better accountability and customer care are expected.

Disgusting changing rooms featuring trash, clothing tags, and glitter from prom dresses littered all over the floor. There were stains on the carpet and chairs, and the wallpaper was peeling off. Weird smell. I felt like I couldn't peruse at my leisure because there were so many employees around talking to each other. There was a female employee staring at me as I walked into her bra section, and only after I said hi did she say hi back. I didn't feel comfortable there, and then a male employee came over ~to the bra section~ and they started laughing and talking together. I just left. I did find 2 pairs of pants that were on such a hefty sale that I only spent $20 for both, but I really don't think it was worth the terrible experience.

I usually like coming to this Walmart. Except tonight. Tonight was one of the worst nights I have…read moreever had in Walmart. I literally got profiled because some dumb girl tried to fight me in Walmart. Then when I wouldn't engage in it she told everyone (management staff and security) that I was stealing when I most definitely was not. I had gone in there to get some craft materials to craft some stuff for my dads birthday who is visiting this weekend. When it came time for me to check out. I paid with 100 dollar (completely real -- straight from bank)). But they took one look at me and saw me realizing I am normally pale skin and my nails are fake with my hair in a messy bun black adidas crop hoodie and with Versace sunglasses on top of my head. I very much could have been classified as a "tan Barbie." Just all around not cool unfair to profile me the way they did. First at self check out the manager fondles every single item in my cart. Then he lets me go. Seeing I didn't steal a thing. But then the black security guard stops me and finger effed my stuff too. I told him "I was like bro ur homie in self checkout already did this now I just feel this is harassment and y'all be profiling me.." his reply The rent a cop shook his head at me and then said to me I haven't lived being profiled or wouldn't even begin to understand profiling if it came and said what's up. Then I said I actually replied saying excuse me sir. I do know profiling. I have lived in other places that aren't in Texas. Do you know how many people think we ride horses through drive thrus. That we live in the dark ages still and don't own cars!? Plus I'm pansexual. So please sir let me go bcz now I'm just upset. I guess cuz I pulled the lgbtqia card just prior to pride 2022 he let me go I'm only tan because I work at a tanning salon. You wouldn't buy tanning services or products from some who is white as a ghost right?

I l love the Castelbel brand soaps, and I was able to get all of my favorite scents. Plus, the popular clothing, purse, and shoe brands were here too. I was also searching for some furniture pieces, and I have my eye on three different sets. Now I have to decide which one. That's a nice problem to have. Also, the wide range of colorful pots and pans caught my attention, too. I moved over to the comforter and sheets; they were very pretty. I like the prices on the sheets; given the high thread count and the fact that they were sateen, the prices were pretty reasonable. I even saw some candy I really like. But most of all, I found my soap. I even convinced the cashier to try it. Yes, this will be my go-to Marshalls!

Cause you can only wear it once and then what? I did like this black and white top with the hearts on it. Not too valentine, just enough. I think I could wear this again, say on Ash Wednesday or something. The store is really neat and organized. I browsed around for quite some time. I stood in line with my purchases. Even though there were a lot of customers in line, it did move rather fast. My cashier was nice and helpful. She offered me a credit card and told me how much I could save on this purchase. But I declined the credit card. I my total for 3 blouses was $50.00 which I think was a good deal. They are very nice tops, if I do say so myself.

For more than half of my time in the store I continuously had multiple workers staring me down, and then two just following me around multiple times which gives me the feeling that I'm being looked at like I'm going to steal. This normally wouldn't bother me because I'm not a thief but it bothers me because I've given zero reason for anyone to be looking at me or following me like this. It creates a nasty narrative, and a hostile environment. Until you've been given a reason to need to follow someone, don't... I'm an indecisive person, but I'm also a gay male in a thrift store playing gospel music, so it's bad enough I already feel like I'm not wanted here but to follow me around and look at me while talking to co workers multiple times doesn't put a good feeling on a customer. And there's a chance that maybe this wasn't the case but I'd be an easy target. There's not a huge selection of men's clothes or shoes and if there is it's mixed up with the women's so I look in ever aisle and I feel like I got stares because I was in the women's aisles but there was a plethora of women's things in the men's aisle so maybe they just need to reorganize? The prices on some things seems incredibly capitalist, I see a whole couch for $19.99 which is a great price, but then I'm looking at a pair of shoes for $24.... Where's the relief in that LOL I have to admit they have some pretty good items, but the prices seem greedy. I don't know how much of the proceeds go to disaster relief but if it's not 100% then it seems pretty disturbing, prices are getting to be like Goodwills and there's no good will in that ‍ All in all, this truly is a great store but this was not a good experience for me so I may seek another store.
