I usually like coming to this Walmart. Except tonight. Tonight was one of the worst nights I have ever had in Walmart. I literally got profiled because some dumb girl tried to fight me in Walmart. Then when I wouldn't engage in it she told everyone (management staff and security) that I was stealing when I most definitely was not. I had gone in there to get some craft materials to craft some stuff for my dads birthday who is visiting this weekend. When it came time for me to check out. I paid with 100 dollar (completely real -- straight from bank)). But they took one look at me and saw me realizing I am normally pale skin and my nails are fake with my hair in a messy bun black adidas crop hoodie and with Versace sunglasses on top of my head. I very much could have been classified as a "tan Barbie." Just all around not cool unfair to profile me the way they did. First at self check out the manager fondles every single item in my cart. Then he lets me go. Seeing I didn't steal a thing.But then the black security guard stops me and finger effed my stuff too. I told him "I was like bro ur homie in self checkout already did this now I just feel this is harassment and y'all be profiling me.." his reply The rent a cop shook his head at me and then said to me I haven't lived being profiled or wouldn't even begin to understand profiling if it came and said what's up. Then I said I actually replied saying excuse me sir. I do know profiling. I have lived in other places that aren't in Texas. Do you know how many people think we ride horses through drive thrus. That we live in the dark ages still and don't own cars!? Plus I'm pansexual. So please sir let me go bcz now I'm just upset. I guess cuz I pulled the lgbtqia card just prior to pride 2022 he let me go I'm only tan because I work at a tanning salon. I went to the Walmart at 12900 N Interstate 35, Austin, TX to pick up some money that was sent to me and I had my Texas Driver License and the wire number and various other ID's and they would not give me the money even though it show up on the computer. The manager would not give it to me because my middle name was on my license and not on the transfer. I show her a government ID with out my middle name on it that was the same way as the transfer and she said that was not good enough it had to be my License. read more

I'm not a big fan of shopping at Walmart but my mom likes to go here sometimes to get a few things. Today while grabbing tuna I looked at the expiration date. I grabbed about 10 packages and all of them had expired back in April of 2024!!!! I started looking at random things only to find more expired goods. Check your dates on EVERYTHING!!! I walked up to the customer service counter several times with my finds only to be met with an OH and snarky looks and a huddled conversation between employees. I had an uncomfortable experience at this Walmart on August 25, 2025, around 5 PM. While waiting to use the fitting room, I witnessed one employee harassing a coworker in a loud and aggressive manner. Then she turned to me and rudely asked, "What do you want?" -- no greeting, just attitude. Extremely unprofessional behavior. I expected better customer service and a more respectful environment. Every time I come to this Walmart, there's either some point of frustration or disappointment that I experience. Usually when I come looking for automotive items, such as filters or a particular type of oil, it is never in stock. For example, if you have a common type of automobile like a Honda Accord, you can be guaranteed they will not have a cabin or engine filter in stock. It's possible you'll find what you're looking for in the more expensive brands, but not in their super tech brand. I've come here looking for car batteries only to find they will not have what I need in stock. I did find a couple of filters in the more expensive brands on this trip, however, everything I bought today was made in China. read more

I usually love HEB and Walmart the same but this situation made up my mind for me! My boyfriend went to Walmart yesterday to get a cookie cake for his boss and told them to write happy birthday. The person taking the order wrote "HB" as short hand for "Happy Birthday" and when he picked up the cake today it literally said "HB" When he spoke up about it he was given attitude and told "that's what it said to write" and after working a long ass day he didn't have the energy to ARGUE with someone he shouldn't have to argue with! It was my first time going to this Walmart since moving to my new place and I had a really negative experience today. I decided to go into the toy section since many items are on ROLLBACK, I picked out a Hello Kitty Series 1 Mini Verse, however there were two within the box and I've heard of places letting you buy/take the box because it has display items. When I went to the cashier I asked about purchasing the Display box and he said he wasn't quite sure and to ask customer service. I was met with two what I would call incompetent young girls who told me I could buy the box (okay that understandable) however I still wished to purchase the two mini verses inside of the box. I asked them whether I had to go back in line or if they could check me out at the customer service cashier like in similar stores like Target. They replied to me with "huh" and "i dont know", never able to give me a clear answer through the entire interaction, and I ended up honestly walking back to the self check out to purchase the miniverse. Only I was met with a different problem, the miniverse did not ring up as discounted on the tag back in the toy aisle, therefore I had to return back to the toy aisle according to the cashier there because I didn't have a picture. So I returned back to isle for a picture, only to return back to her as she tried to scan the qr tag code from my picture. ONLY she couldn't because it wasn't a close up picture because I didn't know she needed to scan the qr code, which she could have informed me before I went back to the toy aisle. All in all, I did not purchase the miniverse and walked out in frustration at the entire experience. read more

Wow, what an absolutely horrible experience in this store. I went in today to exchange a game I got as a gift from my father. I already owned the game and explained to the cashier what the situation was and asked if I could simply exchange it. Right off the bat they were condescending and incredibly rude. They just kept repeating to me (even after I blatantly show their store policy to them) they still refuse to honor their own return policy. Then the store manager comes up to me and automatically does not want to help me either ( even after I showed her/it the return policy as well). She proceeds to keep repeating to me that it won't help me. Needless to say, they did not honor their return policy even after I showed how they were breaking their own policy. The store manager needs to be fired immediately. They know nothing about customer service or trying to help the customer in any way. Oh, that obese manager then had the gall to tell me that SHE'S frustrated because people keep telling her literally the exact same thing I did. How the hell is that my problem. They just didn't want to accept the return because it affects their daily sales goals. Oh, I also asked several times, to show me where in their policy it shows that they will not accept my return and they completely refused! I will definitely be contacting corporate and possibly my local news outlet and the better business bureau to make them aware of the fact that Walmart refuses to honor their own return policies. This store has ZERO working HANDICAP CARTS available for customers that require them. According to the Cashier lady I spoke with today she said they MIGHT HAVE ONE WORKING CART to use. Purchased an item from this location. Very shortly after I realized it was not needed and called to ask if I could return it at a different location. "It is an unopened Magic: the gathering bundle, can I return it?". "Yes, you can. Just need the receipt". I went to a more convenient location to return the said product. I was then told I could not return this item. I was offered to speak to a manager about this experience. The manager then told me I had to take it up with the other location. When I asked why I was then offered to speak with a manager, I was rudely told, "I just told you you could talk to a manager, not that they could help you". I then called this location again and explained that I was told that I needed to contact them in order to make the return. The person I had spoke to just hours before, who had told me I could return this product with a receipt, then told me I could not. When I asked how this was my mistake, I was told "Have a wonderful day". I now understand they have a policy in place for this item, however being told differently and being treated rudely about is disheartening to say the least. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about the guys in the auto department here! I ordered a new set of tires for my car from an online retailer, and chose Walmart to put them on. I made an appointment for 5pm, and they explained the process to me and got started right away. Unfortunately, the tires I ordered would not fit on my car. I tried to get some that were slightly larger and they just would NOT work. The guys in the shop were so kind and put my old tires back on, and send me on my way without even charging me. Flash forward a week later, I exchanged my tires and came back with the correct ones and they did an EXCELLENT job. They worked quickly and carefully and my car's driving great. And they really do have the best prices in town! During both of my trips, two different walk in customers angrily yelled at the staff for not making them a priority over customers that had made appointments, or not being able to fit them in before closing (if you come to a tire shop at 6:15pm, with no appointment, and they close at 7pm, and there's a line out the door already... its not going to happen). Plan ahead! Make an appointment! Treat people the way you would want to be treated! Your poor planning is not someone else's inconvenience! Anyway, long story short, the Walmart Auto Center guys are my heroes! read more

I would give this location 0 stars if I could because this Walmart is one of the most disgusting places on Earth. Literally bought a brand new blender today from this location. I opened it as soon as I got home and discovered my "brand new" blender is a refurbished one still containing the contents from the meals of its previous owners. On top of that it's missing the lid piece that keeps the food from splashing everywhere. Not only did I pay full price for a used blender but Walmart didn't even have the decency to check the contents of what's inside. Have you ever decided to start a juggling routine with knives and no prior juggling experience only to find yourself waking up in a hospital bed after traumatizing a room full of children at your cousins birthday, with a nurse named Barbara leaning over you who couldn't care less if you lived or died? Well, that's how this Walmart makes me feel. Stupid. I feel stupid for trusting these people to be able to figure out how to pull up an online order for tires. Yes, I ordered tires for my car online, and scheduled a subsequent appointment to have them put on to my car, which I thought was a simple request. I would expect them to mess up this bad on an online order if it were the day after the internet was available to the public at large. Not so much in 2021. I can get WiFi on a plane. What's your excuse Walmart? Anyway, let's get to it. I ordered tires online at roughly 10 in the morning, scheduled a 2pm appointment to pick them up and have them put on the car. Apparently, between the hours of 10am and 2pm, every person at the Walmart able to use a computer for anything other than playing Tetris must've died, because by 1:45pm, I received an email saying "Whoops! We forgot to tell you at 10am when you ordered the tires that we don't really wanna do it today, because money means nothing to us, so we're gonna have to cancel your appointment. You know, the appointment you'd scheduled that we'd agreed upon? Yah, we are no longer going to do that. But guess what! You can click this link to reschedule as you're driving up to get your tires put on. Oh, the link? Yah that's not gonna go anywhere, Byyyeee!" Upon arrival, the kid with the IPad, who looked like he was late for his t-ball practice had no idea what was going on. He asked seven other people who also did not know what was going on, or even that the IPad was hooked up to WiFi. He then quoted me for a price to get the tires installed (after a twenty minute conversation about how I'd already paid for the chunks of rubber), and the price was roughly 60% more than I'd originally been quoted online, and the price that was quoted when I showed up. If I'd have known that the return line would've been another thirty minutes on top of the two hours I'd already been there, I would've set fire to my car in the parking lot with myself in it in protest. Don't do it. Just don't. These people don't think of money as a reward, and therefore, I don't know how to deal with them. Don't do it. read more

Walmart is my go to and I tend not to pay attention to rude comments of other customers but while in the produce department two black men were talking across the aisle as they were way behind stocking due to so many empty spots, but I continue to try not to pay attention to the loud conversation they are having. But caught the one comment they said so loud to make sure all heard them laughing at said "That's why I moved my cart here, Damn White shoppers." I stopped to look around one black lady I guess pretending she did not here it and one Hispanic woman looked at me, the white woman in the range to hear them, and just shook her head. I was shocked to hear the racism being so accepted in the work force and worse in front of the customers. If something is not done here seems like I will be shopping elsewhere and make sure everyone I know about this incident. read more

The Auto tire and lube center here is laughably bad. I wish I could explain my entire horrendous experience but there's too much ridiculousness to recap. To keep things short I needed to replace all four tires on my car and get the oil changed. I went by to order the tires needed and set an appointment to come back and get the work done. At that time the guy behind the counter told me they closed at 8 each night so we set the appointment for 6:30 pm, I told him I'd come straight from work and he said "yes sir as long as you get here by 6:30 that'll be no problem." A few days later I got a voicemail from a girl there who said my tires had all come in and they'd see me later that evening for my appointment. I'm thinking, "Great! Everything is going smoothly!" I arrived at 6:25 on the dot and come up to the counter, the same exact guy who I talked to the other day is back there so I give him a friendly greeting and tell him I'm there for my scheduled tire installation/oil change. He immediately says "oh we won't have time to do that tonight." I told him I scheduled in advance and he himself told me arriving by 6:30 would be "no problem." He threw up his arms and said "OK OK we can get you in" all exasperated like I was somehow being unreasonable. Seconds later I had to play the voicemail from the other employee to convince him to look around for the tires after he first tries to tell me they're not in yet. The whole process ends up keeping me there until 9, since the employees were all dragging their feet and after I paid everyone disappeared so I sat in the waiting room for 30 more minutes until some guy finally came back and gave me my keys. When I stupidly came back a few months later to try to do another oil change (since I'm broke and the one positive thing I can say here is this place does do a cheap full synthetic oil change) I waited in my car for an eternity for someone to finally come to my window and tell me the wait was four hours. I say screw it and go inside just to buy windshield wiper fluid and the lady inside tells me "WHAT no the wait is barely an hour go back out and try to get in line again" ...but I had already given up on them at this point. I left and went to jiffy lube. Anyway I did a poor job of keeping this short but, tldr: this place sucks, go to jiffy lube read more

I purchased a mobility scooter total cost $800.00 I needed to return it for poor padding on seat and not enough leg room. I called Walmart customer service and spoke with a young man who said he would help with return. He mixed up the order and submitted request for return/shipping label to another 3rd party vendor (I found out when they emailed me to say it was wrong merchandise and not theirs. I called Walmart and they sent me to an 'accounts' department who said they would process refund in approximately 24-48 hours, gave me a reference number if I had not heard from them within that time frame. I asked what I was to do about merchandise and lady I spoke with said not to worry about that, they would take care of it. On 3rd day I called, no information on reference number and nothing in regard to my return in the system. I again spoke to a supervisor who said he had no information on my order and that I would now need to contact the vendors and get the equipment back. I explained that I did not feel I should have to do all the legwork on this since I was told I would not have to worry about it and secondly it would not have happened had the young man not made such a huge error. I am adamant that I felt they should assume some responsibility. The man/supervisor gave me the wrong phone number for the vendor (they actually have no phone number) and hung up before giving me corporate number to file a complaint. Today I contacted corporate. Explained EVERYTHING to the first rep I spoke with said he was writing notes to not have to repeat and asked me to hold. Approximately 25 minutes on hold later I spoke with Jalissa who said she saw no notes so I repeated EVERYTHING again and said I would have to ask them to ship back to me and I could take to store myself. I asked if they could send shipping label to vendor and have it sent to them, she said no. I will now have to pay $350.00 to create a shipping label and send back to me PLUS whatever it will cost me to have someone take to store for me (I am disabled). Walmart has refused to accept any responsibility for the error their customer service rep committed. They have no regard for their customers nor in helping with a return for this large sum of money spent at their store. Be careful if purchasing any 3rd party vendor merchandise. This has been a nightmare and is nowhere near over yet. read more

Walmart is the bottom of the barrel and they seem fine with that number. My concern is curbside service. Walmart requires a 35.00 minimum when there competition do's not. I ordered a dining set for same day pick up in store. I checked in on the way. I checked in once more when I got to the pickup center because my name wasn't even on the board. I was the only person checked in and I still had to wait 45 minutes to get helped. THEN another 25 minutes to get someone to help me take it to my car. This was all while a crowd of people formed also not getting helped. We had no less than 15 employees walk past us and ignore us and 5 employees that we had to ask for help only one of which actually did anything. Definitely not my most favorite Walmart to go to, but it's close to where I live and it's just more convenient for me to go here. For the most part they always have what I need in stock. The lines are always long, but I expect that at any Walmart. Parking lot is always packed, there's black birds everywhere. Feels like I'm in the movie The Birds, so I'm always ducking and running into there when they're flying around. But besides that, not that bad, and I will continue coming here, since it's so close to me. read more
