While shopping and dining in this area, I noticed how crowded this Five Below store was. Got curious and stepped inside to check it out. The store definitely has a lot of inexpensive items. It's more of a mixture of a Daiso and 99 Cents store, I think? Maybe a bit better than 99 Cents store? And I didn't see anything for 99 cents. Ha ha Definitely not in this economy. It's fun to look around. I got some candies and a couple little items and left. Cost me $12 altogether. read more

Five Below is like if Dollar Tree and Ross had a baby, and that baby grew up with an attitude and won't clean their room. It's got everything you didn't know you needed and things you definitely didn't need, but somehow you end up buying anyway. A step above the Dollar Tree, but still just a tiny hop away from the chaotic energy of Ross. I always like coming here because they have cute t-shirts and also for the holidays too. But I stumbled upon a huge collection of press-on nails!!!! Wow, only $5 too so I really got some good ones for sure. They really had a nice collection and everything is so cheap in this store that the quality isn't that bad actually. My kids and I are in love with this Five Below location. It's spacious and clean. The staff is nice and always greet us at the door and help us scan and check out. The prices are decent and the selection is actually quite unique. There are some gems here. My little one loved the Mini Food Brand box. I love the pet toys and the incense selection. My other kid love the tech stuff here. There is something new every time we come. Pretty cool store! read more

Pretty good selection and a little more organized than the one I have been in Fullerton. Better than 99 cent and dollar tree but prices are slightly more. Great place to get things for goodies bags or small gifts. read more

Customer service is very lacking as three employees huddled together in the front to gossip about the things they were going to buy as the store was a total mess. The values this business offers aren't that many or that great. The stuff is cheaply made and if anything breaks or malfunctions you can't refund or exchange. The pushing of the self checkout is unwelcome as every place seems to really push this this the lie of to lower prices and have more staff helping people which is total bull. I don't work for 5 below and I don't want to work for 5 below. Leave a register open for people who don't want to ring up their stuff, people who have disabilities of many ranges from not being able to see well or hear well, people with anxiety and so many other things. read more

Today my family went to five and below for the first time. We were greeted immediately by Anna who was so friendly and sweet! She helped us find gifts and looked up prices for us. She even talked with my one year old who LOVED her warm personality. The store was so clean and the items we found were so cute! Our Christmas shopping was made so easy and fun at this location. My girlfriends and I are having a girls day in the pool, so I stopped by for some fun pool floats and goofy sunglasses. They have a huge selection of fun pool toys, unicorns, butterflies, mixed tapes, hot sauce, loungers, etc. for only $5.55 each. Shannon and her co-worker who's name I didn't catch were both super friendly and helpful! Shannon even offered to blow the tubes up for me! Came in for a 2nd visit to this store and ended up walking out during checkout without the basketful of items due to the rude, disrespectful and unprofessional customer service I received. While in the process of completing self checkout myself and doing fine, the employee felt the need to abruptly jump and take over while making rude, disrespectful and inappropriate comments. I never asked nor needed or wanted assistance which she never asked if I needed help and merely wade an assumption. When I told her I didn't need assistance, she had the audacity to reply that she can tell when someone "stutters" they need help. When I replied I did not "stutter", she cut me off saying when people freeze and stare at the screen - which I was simply pulling up Apple pay on my phone to complete checkout after I finished scanning all my items. She also bypassed the email receipt option which was my preference. Such a disappointment as I was excited for the items I was going to purchase but the employees need better training. read more

No one was around to help , greet or return and I even had to help a lady who couldn't understand the check out how to do it. The woman who was at the checkout station was super kind and as we left the store we accidentally dropped an item and she ran to the parking lot to hand us the item we dropped! I never write reviews, but the customer service at this place was so terrible and unprofessional that I had to create an account just to warn future shoppers. Asked a lady who worked there about how to pay with PayPal since the screen said scan the QR code but there was none on the screen. She simply said "my guess is as good as yours" with a confused look on her face. At that moment, I thought she was just another customer instead of an employee the way she talked to me. I was shocked how an employee didn't even know how to checkout an item and gave such an unprofessional response in return. Not wanting to waste anymore time, I just decided to pay with my debit card. As I was walking out of the store, she stopped me with a disgusted look at her face saying, "where do you think you're going?". I said I had paid with my card and I showed her my receipt. She did not say anything, so I left while she still had that same disgusted face staring at me through the window as I was leaving. Never have I been through an experience as uncomfortable and frustrating as this. As I know I am not the only one writing bad reviews about this location, I think the manager needs to take more time training their employees to handle customers. read more
