This Hobby Lobby is one of our go-to stores because it's always clean, organized, and stocked with an incredible variety of products. Whether you're shopping for party supplies, crafts, seasonal décor, furniture, spring flowers, fabrics, or holiday items, there's a huge selection to browse. It's honestly hard to leave without finding something to bring home. The employees at the front are consistently friendly and welcoming. While I don't often see associates throughout the store unless they're stocking shelves, checkout has always been a pleasant experience. They frequently run sales, which is a big plus. My only complaint about the value is that this location's clearance section isn't marked down as much as other Hobby Lobby stores I've visited. There's still a good selection of clearance items, but the prices aren't quite as competitive as I've seen elsewhere. The biggest downside is the restroom. It requires a code to access, and it can be difficult to find an employee when you need one. Unfortunately, the restroom also hasn't been very clean during my visits. I'm really disappointed with this Hobby Lobby store. Recently I bought something and paid for it at the register. The Lady Cashier is unresponsive and scolds the behavior. Turning away and not even saying have a nice day. It's racism against others based on gender equality. That sounds like a deeply frustrating and uncomfortable experience. It is never okay to be treated with hostility or disrespect, especially when I simply trying to complete a purchase. Facing that kind of behavior from a staff member can feel incredibly isolating and demeaning. l believe it is a violation of civil rights or involved discriminatory practices. 05/02/2026 I'm not recommending anyone coming to this Hobby Lobby for shopping. read more

I love all the staff that works there and I always make it a point to bring all my ladies from bridge to go shopping here with me. I tell all the ladies all about it. The store is very clean and well organized. The staff are nice and fast at checkout lanes. The store has very good selections of new seasonal items. Highly recommend you go early to have the best ones on the shelves. The sales vary by weeks but mostly 30-50%. Will definitely come back for more Christmas decoration :) read more

Great place to go fabric hunting if you're trying to create a costume. They have all kinds of fabric with different designs - we got the red sheer fabric to go with a ladybug costume for my daughter. The employees are super helpful and will assist in measuring/cutting the fabric. read more

They Don't Stand Behind Their Products We bought a Christmas tree three weeks ago. The lights worked for a few days and then completely stopped. We tried all the online troubleshooting suggestions, and nothing fixed it. I didn't want to take the entire tree down just to exchange it, so we ended up with a dark, undecorated tree for the holidays. When I finally attempted to return it to the store, they refused and said I had to go through the manufacturer's warranty process. This is a product we've owned for less than 30 days. It's unacceptable that Hobby Lobby won't stand behind something they sold when it failed almost immediately. I shouldn't have to deal with a warranty claim for a defective product the store took my money for. I won't be shopping there again. I won't support a retailer that pushes defective merchandise issues onto its customers instead of taking responsibility. read more

I was amazed with a particular employee, Sherry Ortega. I had to go in to make two bouquets for a restaurant and had no clue where to start. Sherry was a creative mastermind! She worked her magic helping me with the arrangement and it turned out so beautiful that a customer wanted to buy mine right on the spot. They are now being displayed at the Lighthouse Cafe in Newport Beach and it elevates the ambience so much that the restaurant feels like it gave it a major face lift. Who would have thought a couple flower arrangements could have made such a difference?! Thank you Sherry for your expertise, kindness and attention to detail. My gf likes to take her time shopping. She likes to browse and compare prices of similar items on her phone and stuff like that. Never has a store taken issue with this until, unfortunately, today. First she wanders from her cart a little bit and when she returned the cart AND HER PURSE that was inside the cart was gone. She looked all over the store for over an hour and the employees watched her the entire time and didn't say a word. When she asked for it she was told "you've been in here for a long time. And a couple customers complained. They said you were loitering". My gf was puzzled by this but remains calm and assured the manager she had not been disturbing anyone. After that they kicked her out of the store. Needles to say we are both pretty upset and are considering contacting corporate. 1/3/22 This place is huge! I find it hard to believe that this place is actually bigger than the one in the Lakewood location. My sister likes this one better than the one in Lakewood because she said they have a bigger selection. I'm partial to the one in Lakewood because the way it's organized and arranged is more optimal to my liking. I was looking for Christmas decor or trimmings for clearance but as luck would have it, none here either, I'm all out of gift bags! If you're into crafting this is a great place to start and get ideas for making stuff. I much prefer Michael's perhaps because I'm more familiar with where things are & it isn't a behemoth like Hobby Lobby. Maybe I just like smaller & more cozy environments. We have the best experience! There is the nicest manager working there! She was super empathetic and kind to my daughter and I! We come in here often, but i've not seen her before. She was busy and clearly had a lot of customers that she was dealing with but she took a moment and smiled and listened to what my daughter wanted to ask. Not only did she graciously help us and stop what she was doing, but she went above and beyond and helped us even further rewarding my daughters honesty. We found a box cutter on the ground. We saw an older female associate near the restroom. When she saw us approaching she yelled out the code for the bathroom. My husband said ok. As we got closer, she yelled the code again. My husband said ok. He kept walking in her direction and she yelled the code louder for a third time. He said OK, I just wanted to give you this box cutter that I found, you have a lot of little kids running around, geez. She said oh! Thank you. Overall my experience at Hobby Lobby is fine. The people at the registers are nice enough, they are generally older and slower so I just don't go if I'm in a rush. I'm sure it can be annoying to be asked for the bathroom code all day long but not all customers are hard of hearing. read more

The person ahead of me had many small items and some kind of problem with a credit that a manager had to be called over to figure out. The whole time waiting was at least 30 minutes. When I finally got up to the cashier I mentioned that I almost gave up. There was not even an apology. Very poor customer service. Am I in crafts heaven or am I being tempted by Hobby Lobby. Not sure!! Hobby Lobby is a gigantic craft store BRIGHTLY LIT with unfortunately an excessive amount of fluorescent lighting. They should really look into delamping getting LED retrofit for better lighting efficacy and probably shaving a good amount off their utility bills. Walking into the store really hurts my eyes. Hobby Lobby is amazing for household decorations or any crafty project you have in mind. They have seasonal decorations year round, but the current seasonal items will always be at the front. I have found this section helpful and I have bought many treat bags and pastry boxes to help me give away my seasonal baked goods and confections. In additional to tools for my baking and candy making projects, they also have everything I need for scrapbooking and knitting. I especially love the selection of crafts available for me to get for my nieces and nephews. They have a more extensive selection than Michaels and the highlight is their amazing sales. Their baseline prices are pretty high, but they often have coupons or sales to offset those prices. On my latest visit, I had a 40% off one item coupon, but the item I ended up getting was 50% off -- so I saved even more money than anticipated. The danger of this place lies in the temptation where you might want to buy EVERYTHING. Without a strong sense of self control, you can easily spend your entire paycheck. To their credit, they are closed on Sunday so their workers can observe their religious activities. At least if you spend all of your fortunes at Hobby Lobby, you won't be doing it on the holy Sunday. read more

What can I say, it's Hobby Lobby. I see women in there with the fever, they look like they are shopping but their hearts are pounding with glee. Husbands waiting outside in the SUV's or pacing around out front, asking everyone who comes out if they have seen his wife. It's beautiful. The majority of HL's products come from Oklahoma, yay USA! Always great deals, the decorations that you need to impress, friendly staff, now if they' just put a restaurant in the store, I'm not sure I'd never leave. Went in today for a birthday gift, and the cashier, I didn't catch her name was very short, rude, and blunt. I asked a simple question about a coupon and she quickly said "Any coupons online are all FRAUD" We have not had coupons for over 4-5 years now. I come into Hobby Lobby quite often and have never experienced this type of customer service. I also noticed the store has been moved around and the employees had no idea where anything was. My overall experience today was not very pleasant. Customer engagement is a huge part of your shopping experience and I won't be returning to this location again, and I come in quite often. TONS of home decor. I like the pockets of grouped themes; dino, mermaid, rose gold, nautical, etc....makes it easy to get a cohesive look without much effort; haha. They have a ton of frames & everything is basically on overload on options and quantity. Bummed... - They do not have as many pens as Michael's or custom frames however. - The quality of their desks and furniture are poorly made but super cute. But at least I know what I'm looking for! Overjoyed... - They have blank onesies; $5! Which are actually VERY hard to find unless you buy a blank pack and even then they're typically just white. - Lots of sales if you scour the aisles. (P.s. Not all of their "additional discount" items were that great of a deal when they charge a bit more than other competitors.) - Any trend that you want is there which is great for party or wedding planning. A huuuuge store with a lot of space. It doesn't feel cluttered in here and therefore allows for social distancing. I'm glad that I saw everyone wearing a mask and being good about space.
