Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. While in line, my daughter's friend, who was standing in front of us, was incorrectly counted as part of our family/group. When the owner handed us only two tickets, I respectfully explained multiple times that she was not my daughter and was not part of our group. Despite this clarification, we were still denied the same opportunity that many other families appeared to receive. What was especially upsetting was seeing several larger groups leave the store with 6-8 NeeDohs, while our family was limited unfairly. I waited afterward to calmly explain the situation to the owners, but my concerns were dismissed. One of the responses I received was, "You are making this awkward for me." Rules and policies should be applied consistently and fairly to everyone. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling as though assumptions were made based on ethnicity, and that our group was treated differently because "we all looked alike." That is not acceptable. I have always enjoyed supporting small businesses, but discrimination or unequal treatment toward ethnic minorities is something I cannot overlook. This was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately, it has changed my perspective on supporting this business moving forward.

But a while back they had a HUGE selection of IDW Transformers back issues. I went crazy and got a bunch of them whenever I stopped by to pick up the current Skybound run. All the staff is super nice and genuinely super kind! I've had no bad experiences here and they're all super knowledgeable about the things I'm interested in buying. He took the time to walk with us around the store, answering questions, opening cases and getting to know us. My son walked out with his first Mighty Ducks figure and my Dad started a new collection of Street Sharks. I am very on edge when taking a kid (9 years old) into a store like this as it can be overwhelming, but as soon as Mike interacted with my son, the stress went right away. Was just like 2 friends talking toys. The prices were fair and Mike made deals with us along the way. For one, I felt the staff here was the nicest and most helpful, and unlike the other two, this one actually had 3 staff members helping people, while the other locations usually only have 1-2 staff members around, which makes it really difficult to ask questions since these places can get really busy. Also, like the other locations, we went to try and sell our used Legos. What I liked about this location is that you have make an appointment if you're selling a fair number of Legos, so you're not waiting around since it's not uncommon for others to come in and also trying to sell their used Legos. When we got there, we were greeted and were even taken a little earlier than our appointment. Also, we went to another Bricks and Minifigs and got substantially more than what was offered at the other location. This will definitely be our "go-to" Bricks and Minfigs from here on!
