And she loses it just a tad. There's an edge to her voice that was not present with the people in front of me. Lady: It's a dollar, everything is a dollar. That's why it's called the DOLLAR tree. Me: OK, well there are lots of places called 'dollar' stores, Dollar General, Family Dollar... where not everything is a dollar. Lady: Look at the wall back there. It says $1, everything is a dollar. She opened the store at 8 and this transpired before 8:30--it's going to be a long, ornery day for her if she keeps going at this rate, especially if I give into the dark desire to go back in and ask again about the prices.

The merchandise is numbered then you find the number that corresponds with the price. The clothes rack were color coded. So each color represented a different price.
