A manager opened another register and yelled for the next person in line. The woman in front of me asked the man in front of her if he wanted to go and he said no so she went. The manager screamed at her that she was not the next person in line and she had to wait even though nobody else was making any attempt to go up there. A random customer (male) walked right up and he wasn't even in line and she checked him out with no issues. So I went next and the woman went after me. When I got up there this rude manager didn't greet me and just kept gossiping with her co-worker. She didn't tell me the total or anything. Once it said approved I didn't wait for her to say or do anything and grabbed my bag and left. Whoever the general manager is you need better employees. Customer service is horrible at most dollar trees but this one is by far the worst. She is lucky she didn't yell at me because things would have ended differently. Everyone has problems. Get over yourself. Of course she didn't wear a name tag because she knows what a b word she is to women.

However, in the last couple of years they have been everything, but friendly. They seem to hate to deal with Good Rx coupons and they just seem to be really unhappy. I don't necessarily blame it on the entire staff. There are a few though that have always seemed unfriendly and actually, somewhat mean. I purchased Pellon SF101 at HL, a product I have used hundreds of times. I fused it as I always do, following manufacturer instructions, to preshrunk expensive Michael Miller fabric. The SF101 bubbled and buckled, ruining the fabric that I tried to bond it to. When I brought the ruined fabric and a 2nd test piece to HL to return the defective SF101, I was denied a refund because I "could not prove" that the SF101 was the problem. I opened a dispute with my credit card company and won a refund. I am unhappy that I had to dispute the charge via my credit card company to get a refund. I will not shop again at HL.

Here is what happened: I ordered a tray for my husband for our anniversary, and it was to be delivered on Friday 11/28, at his job. We got hit with inclimate weather Thursday night, and on Friday, the roads were a mess, but we both made it in to the office. All day, I waited for him to call thanking me for the surprise gift, but nothing ever came. I figured they were swamped and running behind, so I didn't panic and got busy with other things. When I got home, they were closed. I never received a call or emailed explaining anything to me re: not meeting the delivery timeline. On Saturday, I get a delivery notice that the arrangement had been delivered. How? My husband's office is closed on the weekend, and we are both at home waiting on the OSU vs Michigan game to start. So, I look at the details of the email. I called the store and said, how can you delivery something a day late and not ask me if that would be okay? My husband's office is 30 minutes away from where we live. Just cancel it. She said, she couldn't, but offered to refund me the $10 for the delivery fee. Huh? Who does that? I said, ma'am, it wasn't delivered to him??? So, I got dressed, drove 30 mins each way, and guess what, it was gone. Now, I am in the process of requesting a refund through Paypal. Stay away from Edible Arrangements in Stow. They need some major re-training on customer service.
