Only reason I give 4 stars is because the one and only time I actually went to the mall specifically to come here, I didn't have the best experience. I called them prior to coming to ask if they buy cards. They said they did and I told them I was on my way. When I got there , they told me that they wouldn't actually pay cash for the cards and only do so on Wednesdays. Seems like that is something they should have told me when I was on the phone with them. That said, I still recommend coming here and will continue to do so myself

If they have a speciality, it may be models: model trains, planes, and automobiles; Star Wars models and micro toys; and a lot of kits from model stalwart Revell. There also are a lot of those old-fashioned toys we got in the days before smart phones. They have old favorite board games like Stratego, Monopoly, and Battleship, and others from Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers. They've got new-favorite family games like the wildly popular mouthguard game Speak Out. They've got plenty of Matchbox- and Hot Wheels-brand cars, and a cool display case showing dozens of them. And yes, Action Figures: some Star Wars, but more of an eclectic mix with DC and Marvel Comics, Transformers, and the rest. It's also got a lot of what I call "dollar-store toys": a lot of little toys that'll hold a kid's attention for at least a little while. Hammond is a blast from the past that I highly recommend.

They basically buy all of targets clearance items in the local targets, giving you no chance to buy it from target yourself and turn it over for a profit. Also they do not have a/c and I was melting in there. It smelled awful and the bathrooms were nasty. Overall unpleasant shopping experience. They do have a lot of holiday stuff so if you need something for summer in the middle of winter they might have something for you.

Their new stuff isn't bad, but the prices are INSANELY high. The common price for a newly sealed vinyl is about 30 dollars. What! Piss the bed! On another note I'm going to share a very sad story. Today I had some records I was going to bring in to sell, but I knew I was coming a kinda close to closing time so I called beforehand and asked if they'd have time to go through them tonight and they said yes. I told them I had a 20 minute drive and I'd be there soon and they said that would be okay. Sublime. So I drove there with all my stuff in my car and brought it inside and they're all like "we can't take these today, bring them in next week." Hello? I just drove 20 minutes to get here because you told me it was fine! I asked if I could leave the stuff there and they said there was "nothing they could do." Shameful. Graywhale's customer service has never been great but I expected they'd try to do something to make it right. These people do not care about their customers! Go to Randy's Records instead. They have a better selection and better prices!

The merchandise was well organized. One fun feature is they sell used LEGO sets at a discount. The selection of used sets is a bit random, but we were able to find a really neat LEGO creator buggy. The staff was really friendly and helpful when we had questions. Most everything in the store is official LEGO product so everything you purchase will work with your existing LEGO sets. The store is relatively small and the location on 33rd South seems like a downgrade from their previous location near Brickyard. Parking was difficult because the lot is shared with a Papa John's and other stores. Overall, I'd recommend visiting.
