Phone in an order for Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. Got there and one look around the place was very clean. Two workers came in with me and were very friendly telling me this was the best Five Guys. I watched them glove up and get right to work. The guy making the burger told me he wanted me to have fresher fries and started to apologize for the wait. The atmosphere was professional but happy. There were quite a few people coming in and everyone was greeted the same. My son raved about his burger and fries. Maybe pricey but I'll be back. This is the best Five Guys. I hope everyone working today sees this. read more

Absolutely love a Five Guys burger! Customized w/all the toppings I want & the "little" bucket o' Cajun fries just hits ya! Ordered from here earlier this week. Got 2 burgers and 2 regular fries. Usually we can't even eat all the fries, it's the reason it costs more $$ and the usual five guy experience. I guess inflation got them too. My "cup of fries" wasn't even full, none in the bag. I couldn't believe it. Won't be going back here. It's a part of their training to add more, so prob a poor management decision. read more

Love Five Guys! Always greeted with a hello and a smile. The cheeseburgers are hot, fresh with an endless amount of free toppings. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach so I think I can eat a large fry. Fooled myself again .... it's huge! Free peanuts to enjoy while waiting for your order number to be called. Love Five Guys. This one serves thick shakes. The burger, with lettuce wrap, is amazing. The service was outstanding and their fries are the best. In this location the person who took my order was friendly, helpful and detailed. Even made a few jokes. All other fast food places should visit Five Guys to see how it's done. The only complaint is that they played tons of metal over their speakers but not a single System of a Down song. Maybe I just missed it. Seriously, this is the best place for burgers, fries and a milkshake. Keep up the great work!!!! read more

Well! The owner must've read the reviews about this Five Guys being dirty because the entire time we were there, the manager (or owner?) was making sure the place was being swept, polished, every surface..tended to like crazy! The poor fellow sweeping must've swept for 45 minutes. The place was/is spotless! The staff are all very very nice and while this is not a high end dining place, we were delighted that our burgers were so damn good we couldn't stop eating and ate every single crumb. We weren't even that hungry! These burgers are delicious. Don't know what it is but they really satisfy. Love you can get so many things on them exactly how you want. And the FRIES! God, I thought McDonald's was the best. These are way up there on the scale, 100 out of 1 - 100. Delicious. Even the peanuts were very fresh. Never knew this place was here til we went to Best Buy. Showed up at 8:40pm, mind you the sign says open til 10 pm, the staff saw us walking up and locked the door saying that they were understaffed and closing at 9pm. I'm a nurse, I know what understaffed is, and you don't just deny service to someone because you don't feel like working for 20 more minutes! Bad service all around. read more

Waited long time for food. Food was cold. The restaurant had maybe 8 customers in the whole place..no one in line. Men's bathroom door wouldn't close due to a damaged hinge. Manager cleaned 2 vacant tables and left 4 dirty. Floor was filthy. Let several customers struggle with the soda machine which was spitting out brown goo...when I asked for another cup they said "oh that's broken" and continued to let customers try to use i the broken soda machine ...too much trouble to post an out of order sign! I have eaten at 5 Guys before and not had this kind of experience. read more

God awful. Initially going into the establishment i was understanding of the fact that its Saturday night - i was expecting busy. What i did not expect is waiting in line for about an hour. We were at the very front and had to stand there for far too long. Although it was busy, you would expect the workers to acclimate to the load of orders coming in. The men working were slow and seemed unbothered by the fact that people were in line waiting for their orders to be taken. I beleive i saw one sliding across the kitchen and making the others watch. Then i recognized that every single man making food had a big beard and lacked a hair net. So insanely unsanitary for fast food workers. If you find hair your food, you know who to thank. read more

The first time I tried Five Guys Burgers And Fries was about 5 years ago in SC... It was easily the best burger that I have ever had. It was super hot, flavorful, and juicy. The fries were out of this world.. my favorite being the Cajun! The atmosphere was super fun and all the employees looked so happy to be there. The multi flavored soda machine was new technology back then too... SO COOL! Fast forward to this location, the atmosphere is still fun, the outdoor deck is beautiful, the fries are amazing, the shakes (try peanut butter and Oreo) are great, hotdogs are delicious, great customer service... but the burgers, dry and over cooked...what happened? I have an idea... When they cook the burgers, they practically murder it with a grill press. They squeeze out every bit of juice and flavor when they continuously use the press on the meat. Now I know they use the press to speed up the cooking process and to avoid undercooking the meat... but my goodness! Let the burgers Rest! I don't mind waiting an extra 5 Minutes for a properly cooked burger that I don't have to drown in ketchup so I can swallow it. I do hope that this improves soon, I want to have a burger that tasted just like the first Five Guys burger I ever had... read more

Five Guys is my favorite fast food burger joint by far. Their lettuce wrapped burger is a delight. The ingredients are always fresh. The workers are enthusiastic and friendly. I used to be a bit frustrated when I'd order on the app and go there to pick it up. It was because the workers were so busy that it was hard to even catch their eye to get my food that was ready and waiting for me. However, today I went in and they immediately noticed that I came in without going into the line, and asked if I had an online order. It looks like they're getting a handle on that, and it's much appreciated. You guys are the best. read more

Ordered a simple grilled cheese with a patty added to it and 5guys in augusta managed to mess it up by not even putting the patty on the sandwich I'd say unbelievabl but at this point they seem helpless this store needs help very disappointing read more

This place is amazing. I highly recommend if your close by and if traveling by its right off the highway. Been going there for years and it's only gotten better. Great burgers and simply amazing hot dogs. Huge amount of fries, a small order feeds two easily. Treat yourself and get a milkshake. Two thumbs up!!!!!!! read more

This is probably my favorite place in town right now good food I love the huge bag of french fries that they give you when you ask for them it was so many french fries that I could barely eat all of them and their shakes are awesome and the burgers are nice and big and fresh they don't taste like they were under a sun lamp or something very good read more

As I mentioned, it was not very busy, so I'm assuming they make their food in advance and let it sit in pans over heat all day. Which is not what you do with BBQ. It's quite disappointing because the flavor is there. The spices they use were a southern flavor, which is good; but it's so dry, you'll be reenacting the scene from Christmas Vacation just to eat your food. They should consider either limiting their hours they are open to help not have food sitting around to dry out or reconsidering how the make their food. Dry BBQ is the worst, hopefully they'll make the appropriate changes.

First time at 5Guys when we found ourselves craving a damned good burger. And that is what we got. The service was fast and very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. I loved the red and white interior too. They have free peanuts by the door and that was a nice added touch. The french fries were wicked good! A regular serving size was more than enough for 2 people. Love the computerized touch screen drink dispensers! The only drawback was the dining area seemed very noisy with music overhead and some kind of blower going. I would definately return to 5GUYS. It was a super experience. read more

It was a Saturday night with snow expected so it was pretty quiet, except for a large party with kids that were probably staying at the hotel. Pur server was pleasant. The menu is limited. We ordered a burger and fries and a ceasar salad with grilled chicken. The burger was decent. Cooked well, but nothing special. The fries were good! The salad was fresh, but the dressing was on the side, which is uncommon for a ceasar. The chicken was tough and chewy. It's wasnt great. Its not a bad place and the food was decent. I think your expected to pay at the bar, but our server took it for us. I probably wouldn't eat here unless I was staying in the hotel. If you want a simple meal, go for it.

In general the place is clean and well maintained. The Mrs ordered mozzarella cheese stick as an appetizer and the steak and cheese with sweet potato fries for her main course, and I ordered the Molly Mooberry Burger with onion rings. The Molly Mooberry Burger was a unique experience seeing that it was a burger, fried egg, bacon and cheese in between two grill cheese sandwiches. The mozzarella cheese sticks were served warm... they were flavorless, lackluster, and definitely came out a commercial size freezer box. The sweet potato fries were served in a large quantity and were okay. The steak and cheese was adequate. Overall, her meal was 'okay', and 'nothing special'. The Molly Mooberry Burger was order 'medium' with the fried egg 'over easy'. It all came out well done. No pink center, no runny yoke.... The onion rings were good. Total cost $57.00. Seems like a lot for a countryside diner. Over all we both feel that the food was heavy and greasy. The waitress was nonchalant, lackadaisical, and preoccupied beyond her abilities ad a waitress. We will not be talking about this place in the future and definitely not stopping back by when we are in Augusta.

Delicious, with fresh vegetables, crisp bacon, and creamy mayo. I got it on the kickin maple honey bagel because that's one of my favorites and it was one of the few flavors left at 12:30pm (they close at 1pm). I highly recommend this new addition to Gardiner!

But the experience inside was honestly terrible. While I was eating, the owner started screaming at one of the male employees for bringing out one bucket of fries instead of two. He was yelling so loudly, using language I won't repeat, and then shouted at the employee again to get to the back. The way the owner treated his staff completely ruined the visit for me. No matter how good the food was, that behavior was unacceptable. After seeing that, I definitely won't be applying.
