On our latest visit I ordered quite a bit of food. Based on my first time coming here 3 years ago I thought the food was 5 stars. Tonight it was a miss . Each dish was not very flavorful. The house fried rice and house lo mein was basic and not as tasty as I had remembered in the past. It was filled with ingredients and big in portions but all lacked flavor. The crab ragoon is especially good here even though this appetizer has never seen a fav of mine. The fried chicken wings on the other hand was. They were crispy and delicious and were good sized. The best Chinese in central Maine. It's right outside the neighborhood I've lived in for 12 years, we have gotten take out from here a zillion times. All our family & friends from 50 miles around, say it's the best Chinese they've had. Have ordered many things on their menu - love 99% of it! Take out only shop. General Tao Chicken was a gloppy sugary mess. No vegetarian options except a mention of a tofu dish on a side board. Service was good and bathroom was clean. Very difficult to find a meal here without fried items unless ordering a speciality dish. I asked about the ginger string bean dish on the hand written board and was told they are out of string beans. How can you be out of string beans? Really? OK. Fried Delight would be a better restaurant name, actually. read more

I have been here four times. Their food is good,quick and tasty. They don't have much vegetarian/vegan options, but if you ask for tofu they will make it! Very sweet! The family who I think are the owners are very nice. There portions are HUGEEE! I usually have left overs for days after! The reason why I can't give this place a higher ratting is because 2/4 times I've found chicken bones in my hubby's fried rice! Super bummer! I also wish they would switch container. They still use styrofoam. Unfortunately, I've had food be so greasy the styrofoam rips through! I also have found hair in my food-yuck. read more

Tried this place based off reviews and it just wasn't good. Service was fine and it was ready when promised but skip the orange and General Tso's chicken. My wife and I eat here often, once a week usually. Food is very well prepared. We are pretty picky eaters and usually modify every order. They are always happy to oblige and we have even gotten a call back to confirm our order b/c it differed from our usual. We particularly enjoy their szechuan and the crab rangoon is amazing. Food is usually delivered within 15-20 minutes. Great customer service and great food make it one of the best places to eat in Augusta. read more
