Hot Tender Wings doesn't seem to do much marketing, and it's tucked away on Union Avenue near Superior Grocery, so it's easy to drive right past it. But I'm glad I didn't. I went with the 8 Piece Tender/Wing Combo -- 4 Garlic Parmesan wings and 4 Lemon Pepper tenders -- which came with a can of soda, fries, and a dip. The menu also lists coleslaw and garlic toast, but those didn't make it into my bag, made me a little sad. I also grabbed the Mexican Burger, which caught my eye because there's a spot in LA that does a legit al pastor burger patty, and I thought this was the same concept. Took everything back to the office for lunch, and my wife and I went in. The Garlic Parmesan wings were seriously good -- well-seasoned, cooked through, and still crispy.
