The wall of pups greets you on the way in and brings a smile right away. We started with crispy onion rings that have a good flavor in the breading. The sauce is thinner but works perfectly with the rings. Great service from start to finish. All of our burgers were excellent. I didn't add any food pictures because the ones here were amazing enough already, but make sure to try Ava's Signature Seasoning on your fries (but don't try and walk away with it)!

Gives a warm welcome as you enter. The staff is nice. About 2 or 3 servers are walking the restaurant, seeing if you need anything. The food itself is okay.. the sauce on the burgers (we ordered the Hammy's favorite and Blondes Have More Fun), actually stole the show, more than the actual burger itself. THE WINGS, also... stole the show. We ordered thai chili wings too (Big Ol Wings, also pictured), good choice. Now these milkshakes, also fire. My boyfriend and I ordered the strawberries & cream and the unbirthday cake milkshake (both pictured), and the server for sure was not wrong, when he said the fan favorite was the strawberries & cream. I would love to come to Hammy's again, for some wings & milkshakes. The burger, eh.. I wouldn't mind trying another option that they have.

I pulled up for a Sunday brunch to hang with the cousins, a group of about 20, and let me start by…read moresaying--this is not a grab-and-go brunch situation. It's a Caribbean spot with a full brunch menu, so yes, the food takes a little time... but that's part of the experience, not a flaw. Given the size of our party, the service held its own. It was steady, attentive, and friendly without feeling rushed--which honestly matched the vibe perfectly. If you come in expecting lightning-fast turnaround, you're in the wrong mindset. Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sunday, but the weather had randomly dipped back into winter mode after teasing us with 80 degrees, so I'll give them that. Overall, great experience. Good food, solid service, and a vibe that encourages you to sit, sip, and stay awhile. Exactly what brunch should be.

We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server name was Sunny. She said she was also the bartender. She was very attentive. Checked on us regularly and was very friendly. My drink was awesome! Not strong but just what I needed to take that drive back home. We both ordered the Po boy shrimp sliders. It came with fries. Also ordered the shrimp egg rolls. I hear they have performers here at times. Also would love to check out the drag brunch. Happy hour menu is very reasonable. Would love to return for the entertainment. Just keep in mind the restaurant is small. I could see it getting really crowded on a busy day. I still would return though. I enjoyed my visit.

We dined with friends who had some issues with their food, but to keep things fair, I'm scoring this strictly from my own experience. We arrived at 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu. The food came out fast and had great flavor. The mussels were my favorite dish of the night. The white wine garlic butter gave them an amazing taste that left me wanting more, and they were only $11 for Happy Hour instead of the regular $15. We also ordered the crab dip for $11, normally priced at $15. I loved the dip itself, but the Old Bay toast wasn't my favorite. I enjoy Old Bay, but it didn't feel necessary here. The Baha Mahi‑Mahi was fresh, and my wife's Angus New York strip was cooked exactly how she likes it. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of her dish. I would personally come back, but my friends said they wouldn't, which is a bummer. With a score of 24 out of 25, I'm giving this restaurant an A.

The restaurant was mostly empty so this was a mostly locals happy hour crowd for sure. Regular customer next to me pronounced the seasoned bartender the greatest of all time. We ordered a couple of house margaritas ($6.50) which came in a pint glass and were plenty strong. Only needed one of those! First up, crab dip. It came in a massive vessel, bubbling hot and lots of bread. This dish was so large I ate the leftovers three times. Big chunks of crab in a standard rich base. I brought rice crackers, but husband liked this plain bread better than the oily garlic toast that accompanied the mussels. Mussels were a big pile, with toast, in a mild broth. Not spectacular but a solid presentation. And finally, the boiled shrimp with old bay. Burning our fingers in our eagerness to peel and eat these babies, we got our fill for $10. Their cocktail sauce had an excellent texture, better than just ketchup and horseradish like some bars. Anyway, nice job and very economical! Bartender seemed disappointed we didn't need refills on drinks, but tomorrow is another day! Thanks for the hospitality, Coins!
