I worked at this location when I was in college (about 7 years ago) and have seen it go through some ups and downs since then... I'm happy to say it seems to be on the upside again. After working here, I've had a hard time returning since I know how good it can be. The last few times we've ordered, though, the Brownsburg staff has nailed it. The burgers have been well dressed and fresh and the fries are potatoey on the inside but slightly crispy on the outside. Perfect. This location in one of the best. It's always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful when they greet you immediately as you walk in. I usually get a little cheeseburger because it's a single patty. Their regular burgers have two patty's and are just too big for me. I love their fries as well which they give you so many of. Their cajun seasoning is delicious but it can be alot of a whole order so you can ask for the topper of fries to only be cajun so it's a little less spice. read more

I went today for lunch and they were so busy. Customer service is fast and friendly and I was out in less than 10 minutes. Everything is made to order and the little Cajun fries are amazing. I got a cheese dog with grilled mushrooms and onions and it hit the spot. I also got a minute made lemonade with extra ice and it was so refreshing. This place for me tops the fast food chain burger joints. From the minute you walk in there is a nostalgic vibe. Tastefully decorated in red and white with bags of potatoes on the floor at the entrance. Although I am yet to try them they have a big bucket of peanuts that are free of charge. For me the burgers are so big and good I save room for them. The fries are a signature for them they hand make them from scratch. They are so good. Besides hamburgers the menu includes hot dogs as well. I always want to try one but I always go for the bacon cheeseburger. I don't dispute the fact that Five Guys makes and serves the best cheeseburger in town. They do. But can anybody tell me how they can possibly justify encouraging its customers to tip? I not only find it offensive, but unconscionable. A customer's interaction with a Five Guys staff member is limited to placing an order at a cash register, waiting for your food order to be prepared and bagged, and then claiming it when your number is called. If your order included a beverage, you are handed a cup and obligated to fill it with ice and beverage yourself. You then seat yourself at a table, remove from the bag your burger covered with a greasy tin foil wrapper and greasy fries that have fallen all over the inside of the bag, consume you food, dispose of your trash in a nearby trash receptable, and then leave. Okay maybe I'm to blame here, I didn't read the definition of the veggie sandwich. It's literally onions, mushrooms, peppers, lettuce and tomato...that's all. The kids got single burgers which were more than large enough for their growing appetites. Free peanuts! Quick food! Judging by the empty aluminum foil on the kids plates they enjoyed it! Excellent portion sizes and very filling. Just very expensive for fast food. Best to go when you're extremely hungry.

Got our food quick. Went on Sunday around 4 pm so there was no line and the food was fast to come out. Problem is, when we went to sit down, there wasn't a clean table in the place! It was a bit frustrating because they had 5 people farting around behind the front desk but not a single person came out to clean any tables while we sat and ate. I mean im used to peanut shells all over the floor at five guys but the table tops shouldn't all be dirty for more than 20 minutes maximum. Aside from that, food was good and I'd go back...but if the tables are dirty next time we go, i probably will pick a different burger joint next time. read more

Five Guys errors and put lots of mustard on a burger rather than mushrooms. I hate mustard so I didn't eat the burger. The order was ordered to go and was brought to me so the error wasn't recognized until I received the meal. Mistakes happen so I called, they apologized and said I could come back one day to get another. When I came in for lunch 3 days later they agree to the burger but say I have to buy the fries and drink if I want them because the only thing they will replace is the burger they messed up. She didn't have the authority to give me any fries or drink. That was crappy customer service considering I had to make 2 trips to eat the one meal. I guess they gave me exactly what I ordered, burger, fries and drink. Too bad the complete lunch could not be eaten at once. I will eat elsewhere next time. read more

Love Five Guys! When ordering for pick up, they won't put fries in the fryer until you arrive so they are hot and fresh! We call our orders in quite frequently so we can have better burgers on the run than other fast food items. Accommodating with gluten intolerance - you can order your burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun which is my favorite. Some may say they have a limited menu, but I feel if you can do it right (like Five Guys), there isn't any reason to have a lot of menu items. read more

For too many drive-by's we've been saying, "we have to try this joint!" So tonight our threat morphed into reality. So it's a burger joint and we're first timers. Menu: burgers; little burgers; dogs; veggie sandwich; grilled cheese; BLT; fresh cut fries five guy style or cajun style. We went with a cheeseburger and a Veggie Sandwich. Keep in mind the veggie sandwich is not a veggie patty, but rather veggies from the available burger toppings on a bun. The available toppings included in the price of the burgers are: Ketchup, mustard, pickles, mayo, relish, jalapeno pepper, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, onions, bbq sauce, A-1 sauce, green peppers, hot sauce,tomatoes! Whew...and we split a regular order of cajun fries. The cheeseburger consisted of two beef patties, probably a little less than 1/4 lb each, and a generous portion of american cheese. The toppings were also generous and fresh. Especially loved the grilled onions. It was a tasty if somewhat messy mouth stuffing endeavor. Couldn't finish the whole thing. In retrospect, maybe the Little Burger is the way to go for the future. As for the veggie sandwich, again another tasty albeit less messy munch fest. The downside for us were the cajun fries. While hot fresh and plentiful, the cajun seasoning was overpowering for our taste. A dusting would have done the trick, we had a drenching. Throw in a shared coke from their new-fangled coke machine and dinner was done to the tune of 17 greenbacks. We looooove give guys but it always takes forever to get our food from the greenwood one on rt 31 where we used to live. Actually We stopped going because it took so long. Normal wait there at greenwood would be 15-25 minutes. Just moved to pike township two weeks ago and Saw this five guys in brownsburg and decided to try-PRAYING it wouldn't take forever. Wow. HOLY CRAP were they fast!!!!! I ordered $75 worth of food (6 bacon cheeseburgers and 2kids cheeseburgers and 3 large fries) Ok I thought. Im doomed. 30 minutes I'm gonna be waiting at least...... I never leave reviews, but I just had too. The other day I went in there with my daughter and we both got burgers. My daughter went to get a drink and we she came back she told me she heard people making fun of another employee, i started to watch the employees and they were BULLYING this girl, I noticed the girl had a few scar on her arm. It just made me sick. Couldn't finish my food, I lost my close friend to suicide a few years ago and it just broke my heart watching how catty the rude employees where to that poor girl. Food was great. However while I was eating I noticed very poor sanitation issues buy two employees. The guy was standing buy the fries and kept eating fries out of the fry bin. He was wearing the gloves they give you but he was basically putting them in his mouth as he grazed on them every time he went past he at a couple never changing his gloves. Then a girl working back there came out to get a soda with her gloves on and when she went back behind the counter still wearing the same glove. I won't be back to this location. The burgers and fries are always fresh and delicious, but you'll have to wait for them. Even if you're the only customer in the restaurant, you will wait a questionable amount of time. This location is grossly over-staffed which leads to staff boredom which leads to unprofessional behavior. One of the times I was waiting for my food, two of the staff were loudly complaining about another customer calling him/her "a disgusting person." The owner is lucky they are the only Five Guys close by. Expect truly terrible service. read more
