Five Guys has been a reliable go-to for a hearty, delicious burger. The food remained consistently good, with juicy, freshly made burgers and generous portions of crispy fries, regardless on the size you order, that never disappointed. I went to a few Five Guys before, back in 2015 when you used to get a full meal for about $10, but now it's non-existent, still its advertised in the articles around the whole restaurant as having the best value for a meal, I really don't think that's the case anymore. I've found myself visiting again this past weekend, inflation has driven up prices. People just order through the app so there's barely any interaction at the counter, people show their screen and walk out. Everything is take out, so seating is pretty empty. While the food is still good, there is no added value with the rising costs have made it a more infrequent choice compared to others. I got a bacon cheeseburger, and regular cheese burger, and regular fries (no drink) that totaled $32.71. I can go to Chili's to dine-in, get a Big Smasher Burger, Fries, salad as an appetizer, and drink for $10.99 ($22 + tax for two) and have money to tip our waiter/waitress. Friendly staff, delicious burgers and good Cajun fries. Pretty spacious inside, every thing is expected and never had any issues here.

Stopped by on a whim. Veggie burgers were solid, not greasy.. and the employees were helpful!

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is a 500+ location chain but somehow hasn't lost too much because of it. This particular Five Guys is laid out like so many others - pallets of fresh potatoes sandwich gallons of peanut oil in front of an open kitchen where you can watch the magic happen. The place is clean, the staff enthusiastically attentive and their seating adequate. At Five Guys your order will take a while to cook but in the meantime they have peanuts to munch on and once it finally arrives you'll forget all about the before-time when your stomach was not full of spectacular fries and tasty meat. Even the regular fries are a meal unto themselves... try their Cajun style at least once. Their burgers are better than average as well. I like Five Guys. read more

This place opened recently. One of the best options for eating in the Canton area. This place typically blows McDonalds and Burger King out of the water. Really more typical of a combination of the best of all of the best fast food locations. The burgers are made fresh and are pretty good. Fries are actually a lot better than other locations that we have tried. This location is kept pretty clean by the people that work here. A little slow for lunch, we experienced about a 20 minute wait after we ordered. I would definitely give a try before they get complacent and the food quality goes down hill. read more

Ok! I have been to many many FIVE GUYS. Ones in the airport, Boston downtown but Canton one is the worst when it comes the quantity for regular fries. I am going to be honest here that the cheese dog was good but I am unhappy about the quantity of fries. I though five guys rule of thumb for fries was - half fill the bag for regular fries and - overflow the bag of its large. I got tiny quantity for fries. Come on! Really? I mean If I want to get fat I'll choose how many fries I want to eat. But the point is I am going here for the love of fried food and some good meat in buns. Disappointed in terms of fries. Apparently Five Guys is classified as Fast Food but it certainly doesn't feel like it aside from the fact that you need to order it standing up at a counter from someone who looks extremely pissed off to be working there. Holy shit that's a long winded, pointless rant about a place that has actually grown on me. Five Guys suffers from the curse of hype. Every time I come home all I ever hear is "OMG Five Guys is amazing you have to try it!!!!" So I tried it once, wasn't blown away, and I wasn't very happy about the hype machine. Over a year has passed so I decided to give the place another try and this time I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was hot, cheesy, and delicious until the very last bite. The only huge gripe I have is that the prices are ridiculous. For two people the "bill" was almost $20 and we only got 2 burgers, 1 small fry, and 1 drink. If you can't find something wrong with that apparently you have too much money. If you're looking for a tasty, yet overpriced burger then go to Five Guys but don't fall for the hype machine. read more

Now that the price point has tipped over a 10 spot for a cheeseburger, fries and drink, I'll be steering clear. I mean, I like Five Guys just fine - they are an acceptable alternative to a standard fast food burger - but not 10 dollars fine. Of course, I could keep the cost down by just getting the "little" burger (single patty) and splitting the fries with someone else (the small is too big for one person), but where's the fun in that? A place like Five Guys demands gluttony, but why should I pay twice - in double digit dollar, and in calories - for the privilege of shaving months of my life? Perhaps the success has gone to their head - expansion into the region is proceeding at Egyptian plague level - but I wonder if upping the cost will bite them in the end? As always, this Five Guys never disappoints. The burgers are just perfection. The cheese is melty, the bun is soft, the patty is real. The list goes on. On the flip side, their fries are not their strongest attribute, although what they lack in their normal fries they make up for times 10 with their cajun style fries. Absolutely incredible. I myself am not much of a spicy lover, and although these fries fell on the mildly spicy side in my humble opinion, they were amazing nonetheless. This place usually has terrible service and staff. Yesterday evening on April 27th the staff rigged the phone system so that they did not have to answer it. I went to pick my child up for daycare and when I cot there (about 10 mins from five guys Canton MA) I tried calling. I tried like 5 times. Each time it rang until it hung up. I finally placed a web order which is extra time consuming given the number of clicks it takes to order one item (you should fix that). Maybe just boxes you check for what you want on a burger so you only have one screen for an item and not 20 you need to click into for lettuce, tomato etc. ok so back to the terrible help. I get there to pick up the food with my three year old 15 mins after my web order and of course it's not ready. In the store I try calling again. It does not work. I ask the women (pictures by register) if something is wrong with the phones. She gives me an odd look. I said I just tried calling. She walks over to the phone and that is when I see the receiver of the phone displaces and two paper cups together strategically placed where the recover would lie to rig the phones so no calls come through. During dinner time. The women at the register then says to me. You know we have web orders to. I said it takes to long and she says well the cups must blocked the phones from ringing. I said the ones you intentionally put there to block the phones from ringing during dinner time because you don't want to take phone orders. She gave me a bit of a surprised look and diverted eye contact as she looked away. Find out who is costing you money, fire them and get some better help. Oh and fix the web order and make it quicker than calling as well. It's Tuesday July 17th 2018 and I caught the five guys staff playing phone games again. I tried calling at 9:38. No answer. I come in. Are the phones off the hook again. Oh, it's cause um we're close to closing. What time do you stop taking calls. 9:35 / 9:50. Well I called at 9:38. Um oh, that's why, she says as she looks at the phone and says it's not all the way hung up. Same crap as last time. I wonder if they took any phone orders tonight at all! Don't ever feel bad to go 15 minutes before they close, the employees were super super nice! Always a staple restaurant when I need to have something good and filling. I've never been disappointed. I would only say that be prepared to wait atleast 7-10 minutes for your food. Sometimes it feels longer than a 10 minute wait because I'm drooling at the smell and look of the burgers cooking. So getting the peanuts and taking my time with the drinks, helps! read more

You can't go here every day or you might have a heart attack. But man, when you need a splurge day, Five Guys is the best. This location is always clean, the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. Your paper bag will turn into a greasy mess immediately but that's how you know it's good. The prices are steep but portions are huge - I usually get a "little" burger (just one patty) and split fries with my husband and leave super full. Especially since they not only fill up the cup of fries that you order, but they also throw a bunch in the bottom of the bag (we all know bottom-of-the-bag fries are a treat... but these are no mistake... I watched them pour them in there on purpose!) The cajun fries are salty and spicy but I love them. And the free peanuts are just icing on the cake! They also have the new amazing Coke freestyle machines here so you can get literally ANY soda you could ever dream of... and it's fun to play with the machine and try different varieties/mixtures. Five Guys is always an option on the table. Fast, good, and customizable. They'd probably say have it your way if that wasn't already taken by a place with a lot less customization options. There is that problem about it kind of not being the healthiest choice... The burgers are cooked fresh with the patty not hitting the grill until your order. The fries are always fresh and they have that boardwalk taste. The portions are very good and probably too much, especially on the fries. They usually fill up the cup and toss a few in the bag for good measure. I hadn't been there in a while, so I forgot that a burger was two patties. That's an important consideration if you're not that hungry. Overall, if you're looking for a fast food burger, then this is a great option. read more

I was very excited to try Five Guys when I moved to the area. I find the burgers to be great and the fries are also very good. What I find most impressive is that they never make mistakes and the burgers I order are clearly marked so I know which one is topped with the appropriate toppings. I also love the fancy Coke fountain machine and the free peanuts. The only reason I am taking a star off is the price seems a little high. I also would love if they offered an appropriately sized individual french fry portion option. read more

I am not a big burger person. But, this place does make a pretty decent fast food burger. What I do adore at this place is the french fries. They are hand cut and cooked perfectly. I just love them. My only complaint is that the small is just way too big for one person. I wish there was a junior version. I really don't want to break the calorie bank on fries. A lot of times, I don't have anyone to share them with either. So, I end up throwing more than a half bag of fries away. Shame. read more

Been here twice they've messed up the order twice. At least they're batting 1000. Even after fixing what they had done at the register they still proceeded to not know what was going on. Hard to have three screw-ups on a single order but they did it. Noticed the first (one milk-shake instead of two ordered) before I left the store. The other two however (no hot-dog at all and one cajun fries, which no one in the house eats, inserted for no particular reason instead of what we ordered). We enjoy the food, when it is right but the quality of service leaves much to be desired. My wife and I walked out on a previous visit when every time we went to order we were interrupted so the employee could answer a ringing phone. After the third time, we left. Burgers were just OK. The restaurant was not very clean, and we were gagging on the smell of the frying oil. It was awful. My husband and I had to put our clothes in the washer when we got home! I have gone to Five Guys many times and they always taste better than Jake's Wayback Burgers in Stoughton. The staff has always greeted me with a very pleasant "good afternoon or good evening ,can I take your order",that is a welcoming sign to me. The reasonable prices burgers with unlimited toppings is a deal. Other places charge $.75 or about that for each topping. The fries are way better tasting than Jake's Wayback Burgers too. They only forgot to put in a second order of fries that I ordered in with the first order of fries once. I realized that I was missing one order of fries as soon as I started leaving the parking lot... My son checked the bag. I drove back to Five Guys and as soon as I walked in the door the employee behind the register gave me the fries,apologized for my inconvenience and gave me a large cup to get a beverage at the soda machine. A burger chain that started off in Virginia area; Probably one of the better hamburger chains to go to if you want quality hamburgers and a better alternative to the world wide chains of McDonalds and Burger King. Undoubtedly unhealthy due all the grease contain within the burger and the large portion of salty fries as aside order. Yes in Five Guys small fries equal to medium fires, medium fires equals to large fries and large fries equals to extra large fries. They pretty much give you a bag full of greasy fries with you hamburger buried underneath. As for the burger, though I did say it contains lots of grease, actually taste like a real homemade hamburger using real beef when compared to McDonalds. Another plus is your getting all these large portion food for a small price. I would recommend this place to people who are on a hamburger crave and are very skinny. Not a recommended place for people with severe heart problems, obesity or on a diet. The seating in Five Guys is a little on the down side; a little inadequate and uncomfortable. The quality of the food is good. Nice burger with lots of choices for toppings. Good fries. Generous portion of fries. I get a little burger, fries, & a beverage, to keep price under $10. A cheeseburger would put me over $10. The place looks clean. Decor is minimal. White walls. Comfort of seating is below that at most fast-food places. On the way home from work tonight, we really wanted to treat ourselves to some take out, but as vegetarians, our options are pretty limited. We started dreaming about veggie burgers and fries, and we thought of the local Five Guys, and figured we should see if they had veggie patties. I called and asked if they served veggie patties, to which they said "Yes," so I said thanks, I'll call back soon with an order. A few minutes later I called back with our order, and specified at least 3 times that we wanted vegetable patties. They took the order and we headed over to pick it up. 15 minutes later, back at home, we opened the bags and lo and behold, all meat patties. This is of course upsetting to us for a few reasons, namely the whole point in being vegetarian is to not buy meat. I called and told them we asked for veggies patties and got all meat, to which the guy responded "We don't sell veggie patties." When I said I specifically called and ask if you did, then specified veggie patties while placing my order and no one said anything, he had nothing to say. I asked if we could at least get our money back, to which he said "Fine," and promptly hung up on me. In the end, I'm just too tired and busy to drive back and spend 40 minutes of my life to get back the $22 we wasted because the people who work here obviously couldn't care less. read more
