These dogs are everything you need in summer after a day on the beach or to pack up and take to the beach. Delicious combinations of classic and crazy flavors, fries were crisp and hot, lemonade was served cold and fresh. Patio are was perfect for families with plenty of space and shade covered picnic tables. If you like good old-fashioned hotdog or want to try something you'd never think to pair with your hotdog. This is definitely the place for you. The staff is super sweet and they have some pretty cool merch too.

This place has gone down hill. We went here and they were out of half the menu items. How is that even possible!? For 4 people our tab was close to $100. The kids meal came with a drink and 1 sauce. We asked for lemonade and they said there was an up charge for kids lemonade. They forgot our side sauce and when I asked for the bbq sauce they gave me a hard time asking for my receipt. Like, relax it's 2 squirts of Ken's BbQ sauce, not like it's top shelf. I felt like I was nickle and dimed for fried food.

Great place, great atmosphere! I love the outdoors seating and the food and drinks are super delicious. We opted for the split dogs ( sliced in half and grilled). I went with the classics toppings and hubby went with sauerkraut. His hot dogs looked so good, I had to go back and get one myself. He went with a Cape Cod beer and I had to try the wine slushy!! The best wine slushy ever!! Great service, the best hot dogs on Cape for sure!!

LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW!!! I have heard some people talking about this place and how it was very good so I decided to go and try their hotdogs, fries and their lemonade.. it was so so delicious and the lemonade was on point and they even add a cute little shark gummy. I love this place and always will go here now. The staff are so cool and so chill and the food is very consistent and delicious not to mention the food is decent pricing around here for three people considering Cape food can be expensive however I definitely recommend this place and even if your not a fan of hotdogs like I was you might consider them your favorite food after you go here! 5 STARS

Stopped by to bring food to the beach. Service was quick! We ordered chicken fingers, fries, onion rings and a fish sandwich. Really decent sized portions. Probably the best onion rings I've ever had!!!!

Best casual food in the area. Sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs galore! Whatever your heart desired you will find at the dog house. Today we got a crispy fish sandwich $11.99 A split dog with onions $4.99 and small french fries $4.99 I also got a rootbeer float and my bf got sprite. Cold drinks and hot, tasty food with super speedy service in a very family friendly spot

Wifey and I visited The Dog House yesterday. We were in the mood for seafood, which in hindsight, probably meant that a restaurant that literally has "dog" in its name wasn't the best choice. However, other local establishments (the knack comes to mind) have both a good burger and fish sandwich. Their fries aren't bad either. As soon as I opened the cardboard lid on my fish and chips lunch for $18, I knew I was in trouble. The fried fish looked and smelled like Gorton's fish sticks, albeit with a much greasier finish than my air fryer produces using the same source ingredient. The fries were starchy, oil-laden, and reminded me of bargain freezer fries from Stop & Shop. I consumed one of the two austere seafood portions with some difficulty along with a few fries mixed in here and there for bad measure. Both the fish and fries ate heavy and greasy. The fish in particular had the texture and overly herbaceous taste of Gorton's and the consistency of canned tuna. The wife didn't complain about the fish sandwich while not complimenting it either. I offered her some of my fries, but after sampling one, she didn't go back for seconds. The coleslaw was completely inedible for both of us. The remainder of my meal, from the point the attached photo was taken, went in the trash. A waste of 35 bucks overall. Thankfully, the $3 Wendy's Baconator that followed was decent. I hope their hot dogs are better than their fish, but I won't be back to find out. Yuck. That said, bold move fastening the container's lid with metal staples. Nothing to go wrong there.

First of all, I think these are the best onion rings ever! They are batter dipped and thin and absolutely the most delectable food I have put in my mouth from an outside stand. I could eat them everyday. As far as the hotdogs go..... who doesn't love a hotdog with your choice of just about anything you want on it. But definitely get those onion rings!

Our recent vacation was informally focused on how many hot-dog places I could hit and this was by far the most fun one. Their menu has a creative hot dog for everyone - even if you'd rather have a tofu dog! They also had a wide variety of beer/wine/canned cocktail options which was unexpected for the size of the place itself. I had my eye on, and immediately ordered the West Dennis Beach Dog which was complete with onion rings, mac and cheese and bacon bits. We weren't here to be healthy so why not commit? My boyfriend had the the Hot N Spicy dog (queso cheese, Flamin Hot Cheetos, seared jalapeños, hot sauce, sriracha, crushed red pepper) and replaced the hot dog with a tofu dog for a few extra bucks. Overall our meal was awesome. I'd say that the hotdog itself was not the most flavorful I had this week, though it had 7 other dogs to compete with. The tofu dog had a nice crunch to it and ended up being a great vegetarian option while still getting a slice of the fun ingredients. Another plus about the dog house was that they had a basket of all the hot sauces you could ever want to put on your dog and condiments on every table. Wish I could say I'd be back soon but there's some distance between us now - if you're in Dennis Port have a dog for me!

What a find! Tip: kids meals are the best deal on the menu, by far. The burger was the same size as an adult burger, and the $10 meal came with fries and a drink. Win! The lobster roll was delicious (both cold and hot - note, the cold version is not mayo based, just cold lobster with butter), expensive but fair for the amount of lobster. Fries, onion rings, burgers, all great. Ambience is fun, felt like the chill vacation spot we were looking for.

The doghouse was pretty tasty. They are putting out some pretty good dogs. The Fourth of July dog crispy onions, coleslaw that slamming with tangy taste of barbecue sauce. The Mayflower with a garlic aïoli sauce with finger, licking good. The mac & cheese dog is surely a kids favorite. OK, how would you describe your chicken Caesar salad had juicy grilled chicken with crispy lettuce. And probably the most underrated was the cheesy tater tots. Those things were slamming. To top it all off the food came out in about 10 minutes or less. The place only has outdoor seating and is a seasonal location. Looking for more reviews follow review time with Tim on YouTube.

Did they really take the sausage sandwich off their menu? Please say it ain't so!!! We discovered the dog house over a decade ago. Our families have come here for years. Best onions rings! Please don't change from the OG, that's what made it great!

Still have the sausage and pepper sub. It’s on the special board and has been for the past three years under new ownership. See you soon.

Does the Dog House serve their coney sauce with beans in it? Looking for good no bean coney sauce?

Are there any gluten free options?

You can get a chicken caesar salad hold the croutons. Just ask the kitchen staff they will accommodate however they can, but be wary of cross contamination if you are very sensitive, it is a small place, small kitchen.

We had a reservation for 2 and were quickly escorted to a comfortable table. Lucas was our server and he got us situated with some beverages first, we had the bad bunny, which we had tried before and was excellent and a new raspberry gin martini on the cocktail list which was so tasty the second round we got two of those. For appetizers we had the oysters which were shucked beautifully and were served with a wonderful mignonette, and beef chicharrones which were light and delicious. We had another slightly heartier round of appetizers, the lamb rotolini and stuffed squash blossoms, both of which were also scrumptious. For entrees we had the local striped bass and jerk pork shank. The bass was cooked perfectly and the caponata served with it complemented the fish very well. Lucas also recommended a Chardonnay that paired with the bass wonderfully. The pork shank really stole the show though first of all it was huge, and it was also so tender. The curry mayo served with it I want to use as a condiment for everything for the rest of my life. For dessert we had the blueberry vacherine. The lemon and blueberry in it had a wonderful blend of tart and sweet, and was very light and easy to eat after our large meals. Everything also arrived in a very reasonable amount of time even though the restaurant was completely full. We had a lovely time and are so happy they are open again after their kitchen remodel. Would highly recommend the pheasant to anyone visiting the area and locals alike!

The meat was as tender as you could ask for and for giggles I tried cutting it with the back of the knife, I cut through it like it was air. The potatoes were just the right mix of tender and firmness, and the demi glacé was right in the sweet spot between thick and thin. At the end I was able to scoop it up with a fork and not have it dribble out between the tines.
