Listen, I've got a metabolism that runs like a Ferrari on rocket fuel, and my body stores are basically a ghost town. I go from zero to hangry--like, starving to death hangry--in minutes flat. I was innocently browsing TJ Maxx, hunting for a deal, when the hunger tsunami hit. I'm talking shaky hands, stomach growling louder than a lawnmower. Then, like a greasy beacon of hope, I spotted Five Guys across the way. I stumbled in, ordered the small hamburger--no cheese, 'cause dairy and I don't vibe--and loaded it with ALL the veggies, including those glorious sautéed onions. Growing up in California, I thought In-N-Out was the holy grail of fast food burgers. I was braced for disappointment, ready to sigh dramatically and settle for "meh." OH BOY, WAS I WRONG. For like seven bucks, this burger was PERFECTION. We're talking 500 calories of pure bliss that hit the spot so hard I nearly cried. It was like the burger gods descended and said, "You're welcome." The only problem? I'm pretty sure they sprinkle crack in the patties or something, because I was back there the next day like a junkie needing a fix. This Five Guys on Daphne has very good service. All of the staff members were very polite and friendly. Fries are crispy and fresh. The bacon cheeseburger is juicy but not oily. Condiments and drink bar are clean and not messy. The restaurant is clean. There's a staff that cleans the table and sweeps the floor which I don't see much anymore in a fast food chain. Will be coming back in this location for great customer service and good food quality compared to other fast foods. Kudos to all the staff here! read more

Burger was okay 6/9/23 lunchtime. It would have been better if ketchup wasn't smeared all over the outside of the bun. Fries were a waste of money. Aside from being severely overcooked, the fry person seems to think the salt to fry ratio is 1 cup salt to 1 regular fry. The burger itself was at least better than a few months ago. read more

Updating my review to share how awesome the menu is and what great service I received from the team of people working there. I had my burger in a bowl with every topping I wanted...no fuss, no inconvenience to the workers, just good service with a smile. It was so good!! Newbie here....Super sweet gal took my order. She was very patient with me and my lack of knowledge of what to order and how to order it. I really appreciated that! My hamburger is super good and fresh. I had a chocolate shake with whipped cream and it was really good too! The restaurant is clean with lots of seating. The gentleman at the register was very helpful and very suggestive and spent time with the #Customer's even though I was uncomfortable because there was a line forming behind me. My wife forced me to go shopping at Holo. I wanted a hot fresh burger and fries and am never disappointed with this place. Great smiles and greeting by Mary when we walked in. Five Guys has a great bacon cheeseburger and the cajun fries are the way to go! We called ahead and placed an order for pickup and when we arrived 10 minutes later fresh fries were being tossed in the bag. I was glad to see my order was hot and fresh. The veggie burger wasn't that great but it got the job done for our vegetarian. They don't have milkshakes at this location for some reason which might be a good thing after that huge meal! read more

Stopped here on the way to our annual beach vacation in Florida. Its the first time I've tried Five Guys and I found the experience to be "average." My wife does not eat beef, and was disappointed to discover that they do not offer any other choices, such as turkey burgers or chicken sandwiches... just beef. I got a loaded up burger with fries and thought that it was good, but nothing special. Burger chains seem to be the next big thing since I see them popping up all over the place these days, and Five Guys really didn't do anything to impress me any more than some of the other places. Oh, and they have one of those awesome touchscreen drink machines at this location! You can add flavoring to traditional drinks... my favorite is Diet Coke with orange. Mmmmm... This is my favorite Five Guys location as it has always been super clean, and the staff super professional. The average time Ive had to wait for a fresh cooked burger made to order, during lunch hour, has been around 5 minutes; 10 minutes max. The burgers themselves are so good, and they have some of the best fries around! My only gripe is that while the burgers are cheap, the sides are what's expensive. The fries and drink take a $6 burger meal and turn it into a $14 burger meal. But other than that, this place rocks! read more

Every Five Guys seems to be the same. I'm a fan of their free peanuts and their french fries. I will say Bugers are alright, a little sloppy. I've ordered the "veggie" sandwich but it's just grilled onions, green peppers & tomates on the burger bun. Not a "veggie burger or patty" which would be a great addition to their menu. The burgers are not great. Not bad, but I would rather hit a place with an atmosphere (and live music) than this. Love me some fries and these are good. It isn't something I often eat but these do rock. The grease through the bag is a HUGE turn-off. I had to toss them. Presentation is important. Huge fail. The burger was better than BK. Burgers are alright, not like it's hyped up to be. Cajan fries are pretty good though. But, customer service was horrible. I first asked for some sauce with my food when I first ordered at the counter. When food came out, I didn't receive it. So I waited at the end of the bar to ask for some again. I was ignored. Then, I stood in line and asked the cashier AGAIN for some sauce. She said "sorry the kitchen is busy it's going to be a while". So, I stood at the end of the bar again and waited. While visiting a friend my Wife asked me what i wanted to eat. My Friend suggested Five Guys and i am glad he did. I got the smaller burger that was awesome, the meat had great flavor, very juicy and the bun very fresh only thing i didn't like was that i didn't know to ask for the bigger one. The fries were great also, had tons of flavor with some kind of seasoning. The price seemed a little higher then i would have liked but for the quality it was worth it. We've been to Five Guys in Bethany Beach, DE and Riverside, CA and were pleased to see that they're also in Daphne. We stopped there on a recent trip to the Gulf area and found it to be as consistently good there as at the other locations we've tried. Their burgers and fries are REALLY good -- they deserve the accolades they've received far and wide. We'll miss In N Out Burger when we move from Riverside to Fairhope, but it's good to know there's another great burger place to go to! read more

Stopped by with My my kids and Hubby for lunch on Our way to Florida. Very clean and staff is friendly. A large order of fries is HUGE and we were able to split it between My Husband, myself, and Our four kids and still have leftovers. They offer regular and large size drinks. If You have small children I'd bring a smaller cup for them because the regular sized cups are accidents waiting to happen (If you have small children You understand what I mean lol) Burgers and fries are good but kind of pricey. I would definitely recommend for a couple or a small family, but for a larger family I'd spend my money elsewhere. read more

Now the ordering of the meal was a bit different from say the clown, but I got my order placed and a short while later I had my Cheeseburger with cajun spiced fries at the table.
