It's not fair for a vegetarian to rate this restaurant. I thought they would have either a beyond burger or impossible burger version but what they do have is basically a vegetable sandwich either with or without American cheese. I found the restaurant very clean and very organized with a very friendly staff. Fries were ok, I would like a smaller size than the "small" version. I thought the pricing was rather high for what I paid for. My veg sandwich, small fries, and drink with a 15% tip came out to $16 and change. For this I feel a BK Impossible burger would be a better option. Most fast food restaurants land in my 3 star zone so I think this is what I'll give this one as well. Wow, this one big location! It's located in the Doral Plaza with lots of parking spots always available. The inside feels very clean with a nice open feel. I literally had to dissect the burger to find the mushrooms. The onions where white chunky pieces thrown on top, and the burger itself hardly had any flavor. I did not finish it, threw half of it away. Added an order of the little fries, nothing special about them, they were soggy, threw them away. Lastly, I had the strawberry milkshake, honestly, the only thing I enjoyed having. Sadly, I will not be coming back to Five Guys. I'm better off eating at BurgerFi or Shake Shack. So far so good... Honestly this is my second visit to this location... The only other location I've been to is in Vegas and I gotta say that the service for once is comparable to Vegas... But this location of Five Guys has great service and the food was decent too. Both times that I've been here, I was greeted promptly and when I wanted to make changes to my burger after I had already paid... They were happy to make the changes. I've had the burger, hot dog and grilled cheese. Burger was made correctly even though I think I added almost all the ingredients that you can add with a few items taken off... And the hot dog was cut in half then grilled so that it was crunchy and crisp. And if you loved a good grilled cheese sandwich... Get one. It was delicious. I like the bulk peanuts to kill time while you wait for your cooked to order burger. I like how they number the burgers in the order you order them so you can get them to the right person. I like the way they fill your fries up and then dump a big scoop of hot fries in the bag on top of everything......so you just have to grab a fry when you unpack the bag.......I even don't really mind paying a little bit of a premium for quality food. Located in one of the most visited shopping centers in Doral is this fine establishment offering generous portions of their exquisitely fried goodness for all of us to take in. It's not a fancy spot by any means but it's gritty and flavorful so it's a thumbs up in my book. I often wished they had a drive through but we can't have it all folks. Yes, they use peanut oil to dry-you'll see the signs saying such so beware those with allergies. I consider it a high end version of Checkers due to their similar menu and interior design. This is the largest I've seen. I got there for lunch today around 11:40AM it was already getting packed their where around 10 people in front of me in line. I was in line around seven minutes. Then around 9 minutes for my order to be ready. Around noon the line was around 20 minutes plus the cook wait time. The line was wrapped around the restaurant and people where walking away. Do that most of us only have 45 to 60 minutes for lunch Keep in mind this was opening day. I work around four miles away and we got a flyer about the opening day via fax early this week. I think is safe to say that most businesses got the same flyer. In a few days the line should not be that bad. Even though this place was packed the food was delicious. Same quality as the others I've been to. I had two single cheese burgers with lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, mustard and ketchup, and an order of fries and a drink. They do not have the four in one tea machine (Black Tea, Green Tea and two more) like they do in the one near Tamiami airport on 120 street. This is my favorite 5 guys. I frequent here often. Everyone here is very nice and attentive. Today I decided to change it up and ordered a patty melt aka grilled cheese with a patty and toppings. With the patty melt they flip the burger buns grill them so that they're crunchy on the outside. Whether or not you have it with meat, it's a tasty option. They are no stinky, sticky trays to worry about. The burgers come wrapped in aluminum foil in a brown paper bag stuffed with the fries of your choice (this makes for easy disposal!!) The kitchen isn't concealed. Peanuts galore! As my good pal Jason F. once advised me when I lost my Five Guy's virginity back in November of 2009, do not order neither the Little Hamburger nor the Bacon Hamburger on your first visit. DO order their standard Hamburger or Cheeseburger. Although it comes with two beef patties, this is their ultimate product! Don't worry, you will finish it! Guaranteed!
