I normally order the renegade sirloin (8 oz), and a loaded baked potato. It's enough to satisfy a hungry person. I cannot see myself eating more than 8 ounces of beef. Also I highly recommend their Mac & Cheese! For dessert, you can never go wrong with a Chocolate Stampede. Manny at the host stand is so sweet and he's been there 21 years!! 21 years!! We had Kristen serve us recently and she was so kind and attentive. I was impressed with her service. Lunch hours because their lunch deal is pretty good, coming under $15 with tax/tip included. (As of the time of this writing at least) The menu consists of the usual lunch soup, salad, and sandwich options. My go to? Medium rare burger and French onion soup for the side. Always comes out as ordered, always consistently good. Service is also good, servers are nice, friendly, and accommodating. For the same price as a "Big Mac" combo, it's a no brainer. read more

Ordered the flo's filet and had to send it back THREE times!! I ordered it medium and all 3 times it came back med-rare. By the third round I wasn't even hungry anymore. What is the best the manager can do? give us a free appetizer for the next visit! what next visit? I wouldn't go there again even if they gave me a free meal. Lunch on a Saturday with the family. We arrived as a large group but were seated within 15 minutes even though the restaurant was busy. Huge plus! Calamari appetizer had a different twist on the dish but it was really good. My porterhouse was tasty but overdone for my taste, but the grilled brussel sprouts and the loaded potato made up for it. My daughter's churrasco way overdone despite her requesting medium rare (that one went back and the new one was perfect). My husbands churrasco was on point but in his mashed potatoes he found an errant piece of plastic lid or somesuch, after he ate most of it. Our server was a sweetheart and very attentive. The manager ( which came to our table without us asking) was very kind and apologized for the mixups and kindly comped us the messed up meals even though we never asked. For dessert we had this ice cream browny chocolatey thingy which was delicious. This was my first visit to this location in Doral. I've always enjoyed Longhorn for great food at affordable prices. I've been to several Longhorns over the years, and always considered them a favorite.. however today I walked into a filthy restaurant with messy floors, filthy bathrooms (my date was disgusted with ladies room also). We were seated quickly, but the service was terrible after that. People around us were leaving, and it was obvious why. Staff and managers were standing around talking and laughing instead of helping tables. We ordered right away and asked for water, yet our food came out before we ever received water. Our appetizers didn't arrive until after our entrées, which makes no sense. The staff came across as immature and poorly trained. While our waiter was apologetic, this is clearly a management issue. We entered the Steakhouse and were greeted in a timely manner by the Host. The place is nicely set up for its location. The decor is a Country atmosphere which we are accustomed to in Cali. We ordered the Outlaw Ribeye Medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. It is 20oz so definitely shareable, the street corn was cooked just right as was the sweet potato. We added the grilled shrimp as it's served on a bed of rice. The sauces of tomato rosemary and garlic butter on the side. They were also cooked perfectly. This place is a must try. We normally go to the Rancho Cucamonga location, I've go to say the food does not disappoint regardless of the location you're at. If you're in the Miami area I recommend giving it a try. read more

After a very long day, I took my daughters out to dinner to LongHorn Steakhouse in Doral, Florida, tonight to celebrate the New Year--just me and my girls. It was also a continuation of my oldest daughter's birthday celebration from last week. As a single mom who works incredibly hard, I always cherish the moments I can take my daughters out for dinner. LongHorn is typically our go-to spot because it's my daughters' favorite restaurant, and we've always had great experiences--until tonight. Unfortunately, this visit was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. We arrived at 8:05 p.m. and were seated by 8:15 p.m.--so far, so good. The restaurant wasn't busy; there were plenty of open tables, and we were happy to be seated quickly. Our waitress, Robin, came by promptly, greeted us politely, and took our drink orders. Since we were all quite hungry, we were ready to place our food order right away. My youngest ordered a well-done burger with fries and lemonade. My oldest ordered well done Renegade Sirloin with mac and cheese, fries, and lemonade. I ordered a medium-well Renegade Sirloin with a Caesar salad, asparagus, and a Diet Coke. Robin brought our drinks fairly quickly but then disappeared for over an hour. During that time, we saw her repeatedly chatting with a large party and spending a lot of time at the bar. Meanwhile, we sat there waiting, increasingly frustrated as time passed. When she finally came by, I told her we were still waiting for our food. She responded by saying it was already "out in the window." Despite her claim, another 15-20 minutes went by before she returned, and we saw her continuing to chat with the same large party and people at the bar. By then, it was clear she had completely forgotten about us. When our food finally arrived around 9:30 p.m., it was exactly as I feared--cold. The steaks were tough and barely edible, and my youngest daughter's burger was cold, too. I asked Robin why it had taken so long, especially for something as simple as a burger. She admitted that a party of 25, who had arrived after us, was served before us. I was shocked. She offered to get the manager, which I accepted. After another 10-minute wait, the manager, Chris Suarez, finally arrived with the food in hand. I explained the situation, and he confirmed what Robin had said--that the party of 25 had been prioritized due to how their system processes orders. His explanation didn't make any sense to me, and frankly, it felt unacceptable. How could they prioritize a large party over a smaller one, especially when children were involved? It seemed as though they were more concerned about the larger bill from the bigger group. By then, we had endured cold, poorly prepared food and an experience that was far from the family celebration we had hoped for. All the manager offered was a free dessert, which didn't begin to make up for the disappointment. I left feeling incredibly upset. This used to be our favorite restaurant, but after tonight's experience, I will not return, and I cannot recommend it to anyone else. read more

Are straws illegal in Florida??? I've ordered 3 different drinks at 3 different places and none of them came with straws. Also they forgot my bread & butter. This is a location we frequently visit. Last night Monday evening at approximately 8:30pm we visited and sat at the bar. Mind you the restaurant was fairly empty but since the hostesses was no were to be found we sat at the bar. We were attended by: Faith This staff member we have never meet. Our drink order was on point. Everything else was terrible! 1. Faith went ahead and served our bread no plates. 2. Our salads were served along with our main course instead of serving it before. 3. Our meals were cold! To top it off my meal was undercooked! My husbands meal made him sick overnight!! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORSE EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD THERE! TO TOP IT OFF! This restaurant is situated along the main corridor for eateries and of course the competition is fierce. My son likes the steaks from this place, and I decided to go to Doral this time rather than my usual location. The venue was just opening, and got the table was right away. Faith, our server, was very professional and made you feel welcome. She took our order right away and served the table quicker than most places I regularly visit. Now, the good and bad news. The food was good and bad. Two of the dishes we ordered were not up to par with what we are accustomed to. The onion soup was not hot with a larger than usual layer of cheese. The steak, although it was asked for well done, it was on the chard side, and of course, it dries the meat faster. **The cook needs to pay close attention to temperatures. The reason for the 4 stars was because of the initial contact and the server, which catered to everything we asked for. The constant refills and making sure we were always satisfied. I recently just visited this location on March 1st, 2025. I placed a to go order over the phone. I order the 7 oz salmon with loaded sweet potato and specified I wanted the green onion, cheese and sour cream toppings, with broccoli and a side salad. I also order the Redrock Grilled Shrimp with mac n cheese and broccoli with a side salad. I arrived to the restaurant, and my order was never put in. I was serviced by Gabby, she asked if I placed a Togo order and I told her yes, then she stated she was entering in my order. While entering my order she told me an item was out, so I told went with the loaded mashed potatoes NO BACON. She handed me my receipt and walked off. I signed the receipt leaving no tip. When she got back, she picked up the receipt and said, "of course". I heard her and immediately got upset. The bartender over heard my response and asked if I was ok, and told her no. I believe a manager came over and tried to resolve the problem with a free appetizer and stating she will talk with her. Once I arrived to my hotel, I packed my bags and showered before eating. My daughter and I finally sat down to eat and our orders were completing wrong. We are pescatarian, the mashed potatoes were half full with BACON on it, the salmon was dry, the sweet potato was non existing and we didn't have any salads. Here it is at 12:37 AM, and I have no food to eat! This is very disappointing especially being in the area we're in and having an early flight to catch. I hope to hear from someone soon! read more
