This place is hangover heaven. The burgers are super juicy, greasy, and pack a huge flavor punch. The bun-to-beef ratio is perfect. As long as you don't come here expecting ingredients kobe beef or truffle oil, you should be more than satisfied. At the risk of blasphemy, I would put this place up there with White Mana. That said, if you are an onion lover, you will probably be better off at White Mana. I suppose you could knock the decor, but really it's just a burger joint. If decor is what you want, then zinburger is probably your next best option - but you'll pay for it. Also, Zinburger cheats and puts butter on their buns. Five Guys Burgers and Fries has to be one of the best fast food burger joints in the business. When you go here, you are just not getting some average food that is precooked and what not. Your getting fresh food that is actually cooked right in front of you. You can actually see them make it! Ordering off the menu is pretty easy and every order is made to what the customer specifically wants. There is no standard menu that you have to order off of and the burger comes that way. You can get a single, double, many different types of cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, green peppers, etc. The list goes on and on. You customize it the way you want it. And they make it right in front of you, so you can see that the burger comes fresh. I have never tried their hot dogs and I have never met someone who has, so I cannot really comment on those. The fries are some of the best around and will leave your craving satisfied for days. The regular fries are pretty good but the Cajun fries are some of the best around. They have just the right amount of spice to them and they taste great with a little bit of ketchup. The one thing I do suggest is getting the small fries if you plan on eating by yourself. The large fries are basically a tall cup full of fries, and then half of your brown bag full of them too. It is way too much for one person and you will almost always have left overs by the time you finish. I would estimate that the large is more for three people to share. Basically you cannot lose at this place. The only way that is possible is if you are a vegetarian, which I think they actually have a veggie burger for that. I'm not really sure how that would taste though. I am seeing these pop up more now so I guess they are finally catching on. But I am guessing they will be huge soon since they have such good stuff. Overall I gave Five Guys a four star rating because of their good burgers, really good fries, the always good service, and the convenience the place offers. I really like the fact that everything is fresh and made to order. I wish I could go here more often but frequenting this place will definitely help you pack on the pounds. By far the best fast food chain burger out there. It actually tastes like a good classic burger, with no crazy sauces to cover up the flavor. Nice simple menu and free peanuts while you wait. And the fries go a long way, a regular is good for two. Don't forget to add jalapenos to your burger to spice things up once in a while. read more

Came here for the first time ever and I would have to say that the place was decent especially for the price. Didn't really like the fries that much but that's because I'm very particular about my fries and will probably try the cajun fries next time. In general it is very filling. The burgers weren't burnt and the toppings were free. They also gave me the perfect amount of condiments and toppings on it. I do have to warn... it is a bit greasy to eat but sometimes that's the best thing to have. The only thing I didn't like was I wish that there were more choices of fountain drinks and I sort of feel as if the coke button was broken due to it splattering everywhere when I pressed the button. The burgers are great but in this specific location they have an obsession with not letting you just order off of the menu. No matter what kind of burger you order they ask how many patties you want. There is literally no mention of how many patties and item is on the posted menu. A guy tonight got so mad when I asked him why I couldn't just order off of the menu and why was he making it complicated he got visibly angry then stormed off into the back room where I could hear him beating on something loudly for about 10 seconds then stormed back out. I regretted my purchase the moment I picked up my completed order. The bag was too heavy for just a burger and fries. Cheeseburger. The patties are crispy on the outside, dry and firm on the inside. The problem is compounded by the fact that the patty to bun ratio is way too high. Too much of a bad thing. Fries. Limp and soggy on the outside. Limp and soggy on the inside. I really DON'T see what the fuss is about. After years of hearing about this place I stumbled across one that was 5 minutes drive from my place. I thought to myself "Yey! I can finally try the famous Five Guys Burger". I felt truly blessed, it was my lucky day........NOT! The food was acceptable, but the real reason I'm rattled by eating here today was the volume of the music that was blasting during lunch. This is the second 5 guys I've visited where my ears were ringing after eating my lunch. Looking for something fast, good and real? Well after eating at Five Guys I will never eat @ McDonald's, BK, Wendy's, etc... every again. The food is fresh. The meat is tasty. You can see the meat. You can see them cook it. Make the burger the way you want it. The regular burger is a double patty. I had it basic with cheese, lettuce and mayo and had no problem finishing it. The fries are a gigantic portion. Fresh and hot - you'll want to salt them as soon as your handed the bag. A gigantic brown paper bag of hot fries! Yum Yum. They tried to make good offering same order free next time I come by, I told them I threw out my receipt on the way out the store never figuring I'd need it for something so simple. I explained that I really wasn't calling looking to get anything but simply to suggest they have a word with their guys who are preparing the food because it seems like they get lists of what's in the order which seems pretty straight forward and mistakes do happen but they need to get their act together. In any case, like I said, they were looking to make good for their mistake, but aside from finding the mistake itself unimpressive, soggy fries and burgers that somehow manage to simultaneously taste greasy and dry don't impress me. Staff is great and friendly. Free peanuts and an order of small fries is a lot for one person. Burgers are nothing special though, and def get sautéed onions cause the raw onions suck with the burger since it's in chunks and by a whole ring.
