I stopped in at this restaurant to get dinner and when I arrived I parked in the mall lot. I walked to the food court and found the restaurant. It was busy but I got to order after a few. I ordered: Mozzarella Sticks Juicy Beef Sandwich 1 PC Drum & Thigh 6 Piece Wing Peking Duck Sandwich Spicy Chicken Sandwich I enjoyed the wings the most! The Duck Sandwich was a favorite as well. All in all a good experience.

It looks like I'm going to be the black sheep with my review. Cuci seems to receive a lot of love in reviews, and it's not hard to see why. In a food court filled with lots of old and familiar fast food brands, it stands out for its fried chicken novelty. Even while dropping by to peruse the menu, I noticed other small and intriguing things in their condiment area, like tiny cups of cumin-chili powder and packets of plastic gloves (for those eating fried chicken who don't want their fingers to smell like it hours later). My husband and I decided to give their spicy fried chicken sandwich a go, expecting great things to come. And off the bat, there was lots to love. Cuci's sandwiches are offered on a bao-like bun instead of a traditional burger bun. It's thinner, slightly sweet, and has a crumbly crustiness that made me think of shortbread in the best of ways. Topped with black sesame seeds, this was an incredible carby receptacle for a fried chicken burger. There's also a beautiful slaw on the inside that made for a lovely accompaniment to the fried chicken patty. The patty itself was a looker - thick, hot, and well-battered...in fact, a little too much, which created this sandwich's downfall for me. A few mouthfuls in, we realized the chicken was so thin that we were only eating pieces of fried batter rather than actual meat. My husband figured this might've been a kitchen error, so he brought it back to the counter and they agreed to make him a new one. About ten minutes later, we saw the same thing. A super thin slab of chicken meat covered in twice or thrice as much batter. The flavors are banging, for sure, and sprinkling that magic cumin-chili powder on whatever meat we could find only accentuated the fun. But it was hard not to feel somewhat gypped by that poor meat to batter ratio, especially considering what you'd get with other fried chicken sandwiches in that price range within the same food court.

Came here two days in a row to try their offerings. I must say it did not disappoint! Shop is in the Coca Cola eats section of the mall. Ample seating, super empty on weekdays. I got the: 1) duck sandwich combo with 2 wings: 4/5 this was good. I'm more used to hoisin sauce so the sweet bean sauce wasn't my favorite. But it's a good sandwich! The highlight of Cuci is definitely the bread. Super fluffy, light, and pillowy. The chicken wings are such a good side. Crunchy, spicy and tender. 2) spicy fried chicken sandwich combo with fries: 3/5 this was good too! Not spicy at all imo. I do think the chicken inside is lacking. It's super thin and mostly batter. 3) mozzarella sticks: 3/5 good cheese pull! But the batter is lacking flavor? The marinara sauce helped it a ton. They have Chinese bbq seasoning in small containers on the side and gloves so your hands don't get dirty. Service is friendly, standard. I'd come here again! But it's hard to compete with Jolibee and Popeyes in the same area.

Stopped by on a Saturday to check out the newly opened Cuci Burger in the American Dream Mall food court. It's a fried chicken/burger place with a Chinese twist. I must say that the menu is very reasonably priced, considering that it's in the American Dream Mall. You can get a crispy chicken sandwich for just $6.50. We went with the combo though. Combos include a drink and fries or wings. We had the Grilled Pineapple Chicken combo and the Crispy Chicken combo with spicy chicken wings and Cuci Orleans wings. I liked that they have grilled options, if you're not in the mood for fried food. The chicken sandwiches were good - chicken was cooked perfectly. The best part was the bun. It's not a regular bun but it's kind of like a bao. It's fluffy and sweet, and topped with black sesame seeds. Another plus was that they have these little packets of plastic gloves, so you don't have to get your hands dirty when eating the wings. It was a nice touch! Will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. The Peking duck looks interesting.

LOVE CUCI! This place is located on the 3rd floor of the food court and is serving fast food in a fresh way. Their style of food is super different from any other chicken spots I've had in a long time. I totally recommend all of the foods I ordered. The service was great. It was a bit of a wait because it was lunch time, which is expected but the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time visiting so I appreciated their patience!

I came from Long Island to check this stand out because a mutual had a friend opening this stand, and I was so excited for a Chinese chicken burger spot to open in a mall. Their fried chicken burger is so flavorful from their pepper salt seasoning but it doesn't taste as heavy or greasy from prototypical burgers or sandwiches. The mayo also brings a great moisture to the burger while their Chinese cumin packets to take on the counter works perfectly when mixed with the fries. I go to American Dream Mall mainly for Big Snow so whenever I make another trip there I will fuel up at Cuci from now on.

Tried Cuci at the 3rd floor food court in American Dream -- really impressed! Their Chinese-style burgers are delicious, with freshly baked buns that are soft and slightly crispy. I also loved the takoyaki -- super flavorful and perfectly cooked. Short wait time, friendly service, and great food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mall.

Our server eventually got busy with other tables, but overall everything still flowed well. The wings were HUGE -- the sticky wings were my favorite, even more than the Hennessy wings. I also ordered the Smokehouse Special, though they were out of the sausage that day. Our drinks were Long Island Iced Tea Premier, and let me tell you -- they were Texas‑size and definitely left us happy. Worth every sip. One thing to be mindful of: my partner is allergic to mustard, and I didn't realize the pulled pork plate comes with two different sauces -- one side barbecue and the other honey mustard. So anyone with allergies should double‑check the sauces on the meats to avoid any issues. This place is definitely a must‑try at least once, just like I did -- and I'll be returning. I travel from place to place trying different spots, and this one stands out. It's unlike anything I've found in Virginia. The only place that ever came close was a hands‑on spot back in Lynchburg, VA (you can see it on my profile). BBQ Dallas brings something different, and it's worth the stop. Overall, great experience and no complaints from me.

I've also turned my family and friends on to this restaurant as well. I usually do pick-up, but I've had delivery here as well and have eaten inside only once. This place is small but very clean. They recommend BYOB, but the ambience really isn't there for dinner - which is fine! It's a take out shop, what do you expect? The most important thing to remember is everything here is MADE FRESH, YA'LL!!! They make everything to order so you may be waiting a few minutes for your meal. RoP's popularity has really picked up over the past year, so sometimes the wait can get a little long. My favorite things are the wraps (the Supreme Wrap is my OG to go, but the chipotle wrap is a close second), the chicken fingers, and the fried chicken sandwich. I've also had their salads which are fresh and tasty, and a bunch of their sides - the cornbread, the creamed spinach, the mashed potatoes, and the coleslaw are all stars. (The mac n cheese is just ok! ) I've not had the Rotisserie or BBQ here, but my friends who do have said it's amazing. They also do lunch specials which is great! My favorite thing about this place, however, has to be the handmade fries. They are EXCELLENT - some of the best French fries in the area! Also, the staff here is always so pleasant and kind. They always make a note to thank you for your tips, even when placing an order online. Overall, this is a great small business to support!

They're known for their incredible Rotisserie Chicken which I can confirm is in fact incredible. It's flavorful, juicy, deliciously roasted, and tender. The chicken skin was crispy and rich in flavor but literally the dark and white parts were equally tasty. Honestly probably some of the best Rotisserie chicken I've ever had. My favorite piece was the thigh, super juicy and delicious. The onions were sweet, crisp, and refreshing - I've never had this with a rotisserie chicken before but it's a game changer. They also serve it with their hot sauce which was both smoky and zesty. The sides I got are a non-negotiable, in my opinion. Both the Pigeon Pea Rice & Moro Rice were well-seasoned, fluffy, and went great with the Rotisserie chicken. The portion is also amazing for the price; it was easily 4 servings! The Maduros were extremely oily but I love the savory-sweet balance you get from them along with the chicken and rice. Super delicious! The Jupiña Pineapple Soda was a good try but could be skipped next time. Note: their menu has cash and credit card prices so you will be paying slightly more per item if you pay with card. All in all, it was an amazing meal that hit the spot and great value! Highly recommend.

The food took a long time. In the picture the cone is laid out on a plate but it is actually served in a mug so it's hard to eat. The chicken tasted good as did the mozzerrella stick but it mostly ended up being fries. I was pretty curious about it myself. We grabbed the fried chicken combo, mac and cheese, and the ube pie for dessert. The fried chicken was solid. Nice crispy coating with juicy meat inside. The gravy they give you on the side is super savory and pairs perfectly with it. They were very generous with the gravy too. Everyone got a cup to dip their chicken in. The mac and cheese was creamy and had a good cheesy flavor, though I'd probably get a little more spice or seasoning next time to take it up a notch. The star of the show for me was the ube pie. That thing is dangerously good. Flaky, crispy fried crust with a smooth, not-overly-sweet ube filling that actually tastes like real purple yam. It's a nice twist on the usual fast food pies and definitely worth trying if you like ube or even just sweet potato flavors. I'd highly recommend this one over the regular apple pies they serve. Gravy was best with their fries and their biscuits. The salty/meaty aroma didn't combine as well and while it masked the bland greasiness of the chicken, didn't really do much to make it enjoyable for me. Pass on the chicken.
