There was much talk about this place and comparisons made to in n out. You can't compare the two. Its twice the price of in n out and they offer a ton of toppings. Though it's not higher quality meat or service The only thing this place has in common with in n out is the red, yellow and white décor, furniture and outfits. The setup is very similar to in n out. I had the double patty cheeseburger with mushrooms, onions, mayo and jalapenos. I thought they jalapanjos were too strong for a burger. The bread was your run of the mill bun. The meat is higher quality than most fast food joints for a burger of the same price. In short I would go here over any chain fast food place for a comparable burger on their menu. This would include the Carls Junior 6 dollar burger or the Burger king SW Angus burger. It also happens to be a dollar cheaper than those two. An odd observation was the lack of choices in cheese. While we have close to a dozen toppings to choose from, we only get one option for cheese. In a world where I had to pick between Mc Donalds, Carl's Junior, Jack in the box, burger king or these guys. They would win every time. But I recommend they don't open any locations near an in n out. They won't survive a minute. read more

What more could I say, great fresh burgers and fries. Once in a while the fries might be slightly overcooked with a "burned" aroma flavor. There seems to be a "competition" between the In-n-Out fans and Five Guys Fans. I'm waiting to see them fighting in the street soon...... read more

Good burger. Expensive for what it is, though. Service lacking at counter. Unengaged employees who probably wouldn't qualify for a gig at In & Out. Didn't greet us or offer to explain the menu. Turns out a "regular" burger here has two patties and a "little" has a single patty. Good idea to clarify that on the menu or explain at the register. The guy who served up the order was attentive and friendly, but first impressions count. The tables were messy and the napkins needed to clean it up were a scavenger hunt. The food is fresh enough, but for the price they need to consider either improving their staff habits at the point of ordering, or just reduce the cost, because this place doesn't come close to cutting it for the price. read more

Wow, just wow. I'm so happy I came here today. I have never ordered from Five Guys so I decided to give these guys a try. I was going to go during the lunch rush hour so I decided to save myself the trouble and order online. I loved being able to customize everything about my order. It seemed a little pricier than what I usually spend for a burger, fries and a shake. I decided to check out anyway. I arrive and right away I can tell these guys mean business. They're so busy, it would be easy for anyone who does not work well under pressure to crack. Right away, someone came up to me and asked if I was picking up. I said yes and they were making my shake (made when you arrive for freshness). While I wait, I notice a couple things. One, everyone working is smiling or speaking in a happy, upbeat tone. And two, while one person is working super hard and fast on the fries, someone else in the other side of the cooking area is complementing him! How nice is that? Finally all my order is ready and they hand it to me with a smile. I go to my job to eat it and even though I ordered a small burger and small fries they are super filling! I haven't even finished anything and I'm already getting full. The taste was great too! I can easily say, they won me over. I intend to walk a little further to enjoy food from Five Guys rather than In N Out. They simply have a more friendly staff and personal touch to my experience. read more

Very professional night crew here! I came May 2 around 9:30PM Antwan took my order and he made it feel so effortless. My order was accurate, i received it swiftly, and when i went to get Sprite from the machine and it was out the gentleman who insisted to fix it for me although I told him not to worry went above and beyond to get the sprite working (so sorry I did not get his name ) any other establishment could have told me it was out and not even bother but this crew made me feel like a valued client! read more

A meal that makes your heart feel like it's pumping jello for the next hour. Delicious burgers with tons of choices for toppings (mushrooms, cheese, steak sauce, oh my). I would say it tastes more like a good homemade/diner burger as compared to a bbq/grill burger. Also, their normal sized burgers use two patties, so don't forget to say "little" beforehand unless you want to clog those arteries some more. Seasoned fries comes in a larger quantity than ordered cos it's always pouring out. Don't compare Five Guys to In-N-Out, they both taste unique in their own way and they're both good :) Parking is free in the rear with validation and it can get busy during lunch rush, but you do get free peanuts as you wait. read more

This place is A-OK. I got a Little Bacon Burger and a Little Fry to go. I probably should have gotten cheese for my burger which probably would have made it taste better, but it was still pretty good. They give a generous portion of fries but was a little dry (ketchup helps). I got to this place after 5:15p on a weekday. They were not extremely busy. However, there were customers in there eating and there were customers before and after me. I pretty much waited about 5 minutes for my food. The workers are nice, and there is plenty of parking. However, because I believe the food here kind of has a lot of fat and salt, I don't think I would come too often. But, I am sure l'll be back. read more

Just opened today! Service is very efficient. Layout is on the smaller side. I would recommend coming here outside of noonish if you'll be dining in. Staff is more than happy to explain how to order. Going during the normal lunch hours 11-2 is a big mistake but most def worth the wait. This location's parking can be tricky during the lunch hour but if your going for dinner you should be fine. I love how fresh everything is and how they do not charge you for the toppings of the burgers like other places do. I just wish they had some avocado. Their meat is like a down home ground beef burger that mom makes at home and the meat is full of flavor and very juicy. Their fries are large enough to share and for me a single patty is good enough to fill me up. But the double patty taste soooo good! I like Five Guys. There are several on the east coast so I was familiar with the food and atmosphere. There's not much to say, the food (burgers and fries) are good and the peanuts are a nice touch. Only downfall really is the location because parking here can be terrible especially at lunch time which is a hassle. read more

Great place~! I highly appreciated the meat flavor and how it was prepared. It is not just a patty, but it actually looks like real ground beef. What a concept. The fact that you can have your burger "All The Way", with mushrooms, grilled onions, mayo, ketchup, mustard, tomato, lettuce etc - is a fantastic option that I recommend. Get the bacon cheeseburger. Although, it came with two patties - just an FYI! If you don't want both patties, let them know up front. The fries are Cajun. Yes, Cajun. Hello! Finally tried Five Guys today after putting it off for a few months. I know a lot of people compare Five Guys to In-N-Out, so here are my two cents. First, I am a hamburger kind of girl. Not cheeseburger, two patties, etc. And I think that Five Guys has a very bland burger. I had grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce, and a tomato on my burger, with ketchup and mustard. Despite all the toppings, I was looking forward to a good tasting burger, and sadly, that was not the case. Second, I know the foil wrapping is Five Guys style, but I don't like how mushed the buns are. So aesthetically, the burger didn't look that great and the taste of the burger was underwhelming. Which leads me to this point: I think it's great that Five Guys has a lot of topping options, however, I feel like all the toppings they offer exist to hide the bland taste of the burger. Yes, the burgers are made fresh. There's not doubt about it. And the fries are pretty good. But living in Southern California I would opt for In-N-Out or Fatburger over Five Guys. And The Habit is located across the street, which is just as good if not better. Fries are good, and the hamburgers are fresh, but I definitely think there are better burger joints in terms of taste and budget. read more

Went in yesterday (Sunday) around 1pm....place was not that busy, half the tables empty. Very slow service , $15 for a burger/fries/large drink. Quality of meat...average. Bun was dry and didn't hold together....very annoying. Friendly young staff that looks a little too comfortable to my untrained eye. An In N Out in closer proximity will be curtains for this place. The novelty is gone - the pricing is significantly higher than In- N- Out for lower quality and service in my opinion. read more

Dayum, Five Guys! What happened? I used to like this place years ago, but hadn't been to this specific location before. Was driving by with the boyfriend and we decided to give it a try. Big mistake! Service: Pretty sure the guy at the counter was stoned, because he got really confused when we tried ordering basic cheeseburgers. We had to go through it about three times. At least he was nice. Great food and nice employees. Unfortunately, they discriminate against men and give women unfair preferential treatment. They have one bathroom they let only women use, and another for both men and women. So I had to wait for the bathroom even though the "women's only" bathroom was open because a woman was using the only bathroom they allow men to use. Garbage!
