My story: When I was visiting Vancouver, Canada, there was a street vendor who served "Japanese hot dogs". They were quite scrumptious, and I was jealous that the city residents could have these fancy dogs anytime they pleased. I am jelly no more. While touring the Wellfield Botanical Gardens during their special "Tulips and Tunes" festival, the Wiener Shack made their presence known. I stopped by their booth to grab a drink (a bottle of Boylan birch beer), and decided to return. Upon coming back, I tried the "Vortex". Ahh, the Vortex. What a fantastic adventure of a hot dog. Take a delightfully seasoned hot dog, add Sargento's provolone cheese, grilled onions, a dash of some raspberry something-or-other sauce, and pack it all into... a glazed twist doughnut. I know what you're thinking: WTF. Well, I guarantee you that it was most delicious. Also, the guy and lady who was running the stand were very friendly and helped me with recommendations.
