Five guys is Five guys. The food is consistent and the dining area is usually clean. My shock comes from the the prices. They have escalated beyond reason in my opinion. I know that inflation is at an all time high, but damn . $7.25for a hotdog , just ketchup. There isn't even chili available as a garnish option. The food is great, but the young men working are incredible. I am physically challenged and walk with a walker usually but I only had my cane that day. I was trying to get a drink for my husband and take it out the door. Needless to say I was not balancing well. These young men not only helped me take the drink to the car but helped me in the car and graciously brought our meal out to us when it was done. I want to thank them and I hope your boss knows what exceptional help they have. read more

What a big disappointment. It was lunch time and the place was empty, except for another family who ordered ahead of me. They don't offer combo's and the prices are ridiculous. I wouldn't mind the prices so much if the food was actually decent. I ordered the Little Bacon Cheeseburger. I didn't see any bacon. The burger itself was "wet". I know that sounds weird but the bun was so soggy it took on a wet texture. The soda machine is one of those multi-choice machines where you can mix different flavors, however they didn't have any of the "flavors" to mix. The family ahead of me was also unhappy with the prices and the fact that you couldn't order a combo. I should have known this place sucked when I walked in and it was empty at lunch time. It has been a few years since I grabbed a Five Guys burger for lunch. Stopped in this afternoon and I have to say they were hopping. The cashier was taking orders and filling drinks and there were 3 guys behind the grill prepping the individualized orders and grilling the hot dogs and burgers. All were friendly and appreciated the patronage. Ordered a cheeseburger with raw onions, lettuce, tomatoes and ketchup. For a drink I went with a chocolate shake. Okay, forget the cost. If you are on a budget, then go to the fast-food chains that offer the mail or Sunday paper insert coupons. The cheeseburger had two fresh patties and two slices of cheese. The lettuce was so crisp and fresh, NOT shredded. I actually had leaves of lettuce on my cheeseburger and the raw onions, which by the way you can have grilled, had a nice strength for the authentic flavor. Now for the indulgence of the chocolate shake. No whip cream, today. Not with 60 degrees and glowing sun rays wherever you looked. Oh, the flavor and richness of chocolate from the first sip to the last. Tables were available inside, but most order were on the run, I opted to sit outside. One suggestion, the employees need to clean the patio tables for guest now that we are approaching warmer days. The tables had not been sanitized in some time, which can be contributed to the COVID - 19 practices. But really, how difficult is it to spray and wipe the patio tables before the shift starts and then when the lunch orders slow down. Thankfully, they gave me plenty of napkins and I had plenty of sanitizer on me. Being able to relax on a beautiful sunny day at lunch was well worth my visit before returning to work. And when everything is fresh and cooked the way you want, makes everything enjoyable. read more

I love the renovation and the shakes are great. There are a few issues that I believe are pandemic related, but annoying nonetheless. 1) I will never be able to make myself put peanut shells on the floor,yet when you ask for peanuts, they don't give you anything to put the shells in. I used to get a second cardboard tray when I grabbed my peanuts, but not anymore. 2) malt vinegar is very hard to come by. None at the condiment station (bottles or packets) so asked at counter. Was told they were out. A few minutes later another customer walked to their table with a bottle obtained y asking a different person behind the counter. I'd have been ok if they were out. I'd have been okay, if they poured some into a container for me. Telling me there was none and then giving it to the next person who asked was not ok. read more

My wife and I have been to 5 Guys in 4 different states. The restaurant was clean and plenty of tables to choose from. The staff was friendly and the order taking process was accurate. We got our food in a timely manner and our order was just as we ordered it. Everything was hot and delicious. We will return. read more

First, a cheeseburger and small fries should not cost $12 at a fast food restaurant. Now, I've been to this location 3x. 1st, I was actually impressed by the burger. Second, service was slow and the burgers were sub-par. But today, I called in my order with plenty of time, and when I arrived, she said "Joseph is here" and we both heard "got it". She said they're getting your fries ready. 10 min later after multiple people being served, I asked about my order, and no one had even started my fries. Did they say sorry or offer a free drink, free fries or burger with next order? No. Did they hook up my fries to a large? No. Then handed me my order and called me 'Josh'. No apology though. Oh and what's ironic is when the guy on the phone took my order, he said "Ok it'll be ready when you get here. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

I've never been soo turned on by Five Guys before. The burgers here were phenomenal. I've heard great things about Five Guys burgers but never had the chance to try it out before my visit to the Souf. To my delight I stumbled on a location in Small Town, U.S. of A. Hot diggity dawg! The plan is simple. Choose your burger, choose your fillings, choose your sides and then stuff your face silly. Don't feel like a wuss for ordering the "jr" burger, it just means there's one patty instead of two. The fries are primo, they even let you know where the taters are from for that day. I assume some podunk town in Idaho just as ours was. The greasy goodness known as a Five Guys burger is transcendental, I'd even consider cheating on In-N-Out for it. The shame! read more

Wow! 5 guys has really got pricey. $12.40 for a single with cheese, bacon and onions, fried and a drink. I can go to the local Peddler steak house and get an awesome Burger (much bigger) cooked to my liking with blue cheese, bacon and all the fixings, a side (fries, house chips, pasta, salad etc..) and my drink for $10.50. I hear a lot of people rave about this place, but it was just ok for me. The burgers are tasty but that's about it. Service was poor and I felt rushed to get my order in and then get the hell out of the way. Prices are more than you would want to pay for a burger and fries. Fries were greasy. You can get peanuts from the boxes throughout the place and toss the shells on the floor (I guess to add to the charm but who likes slipping and sliding on the shells). It's good for a fast food burger but that's all it really is, fast food. It's better than McDonalds but not enough to warrant the price hike. They still cook the meat to death, which makes me question the quality but they offer a nice variety of toppings. I will say that their fries are great. I've been to Five Guys franchises in Charleston and one in North Carolina but I must say this is the best one I've ever visited. Firstly we were greeted by Damon and another wonderful woman whose name I can't quite remember. Our food was prepared excellently and quickly. Also, they walked the room and asked how everything was going and if we had any issues with our food. Then, as we were leaving, they said have a wonderful weekend. Now these are basic things that are often overlooked in dining so it was very refreshing to have such wonderful service to accompany a wonderful meal. I would highly recommend anyone to visit on their next visit to Florence. You won't regret it!!!! read more

The one thing I love most about Five Guys is they deliver a consistent product. I never have to worry if my order will be right or if the food will taste great. They are what I consider upscale "fast food". They are pricier than McDonalds but about the same as Hardee's. The amount of food you get is well worth the price. The staff is always pleasant and food is ready fairly quick. If you want a quality burger with a variety of toppings this is definitely the place to go. If you order fries it's a ridiculous amount, so much that you should probably share and save the dollars on a second order you most likely won't finish. read more
