It's been a while since I have been to a Five Guys. However when I walked in and saw there was a milkshake on the menu it seemed like providence. So I ended up getting a burger, little fry, and a milkshake. The total came to $24.52. So a little pricey for fast food but the portions are still decently sized and left me sated. The three people working today were also super friendly and professional. All of that combined with the cleanliness of the store made it a great experience. I wish the prices were lower, but as long as everything keeps tasting like it did today I'll get over that. Just won't be able to eat here every day. It's all good to have fun while you work in this environment as long as the customers are not being overlooked. This location is closest to work and I love five guys so when one of our coworkers suggested lunch here, I was excited. They have plenty of parking all around and expect to see a ton of military personnel if you go around lunch time. I'm pretty sure that has got to be 50% of their clientele. That's not an issue just to be clear; it is only an observation. The staff was really friendly and the food was nice an hot. Expect it to take awhile at lunchtime because the place was packed and naturally it took a bit of time to order and then quite some time for food to be ready. It really is a shame that the service here is so awful. The food is great...or at least has the capacity to be, if they could get an order right. I'm not sure if they are under-staffed, poorly trained, or just lack any semblance of organization and time-management skills. I literally have not had a SINGLE order from this Five Guys be made correctly. If they get orders SO wrong, what's to say they follow food safety protocols? Personally, I'm making the choice not to go back to this location even though Five Guy's is usually so good -- it just isn't worth it to spend $41 and get home to ALL our food being completely wrong! McDonald's makes less mistakes for $7. Here is the most recent experience I've had here, in case you enjoy the drama: This Five Guys has literally left entire burgers out of my order bag in the past. I've learned my lesson, so today I checked the bag after the 40 minute wait for our food. All our burgers were there! I thought that was a good sign. But at this Five Guys, apparently you have to take hyper-vigilance a step further and open the foil on all their burgers to make sure they didn't mix up your entire order. This time, we got home and my brother's bacon cheeseburger didn't have bacon, my husband's burger had NOTHING correct except hot sauce and cheese, and my burger had it's mushrooms and onions (and obviously the burger itself) but was missing everything else. Namely, it was missing its green peppers...because those were on my husband's burger. At least we got a laugh out of that. Every single burger was completely wrong! A bacon cheeseburger is so simple -- how do you mess that up, even on a busy day? Like I said above, the food is delicious -- our orders being wrong didn't make our meal gross, but it was disappointing. In a nutshell, This business migrated from the East Coast and what can I say but I'M GLAD!!! This location in Lakewood opened a couple days ago and I think of it as a luxury to this town. It seems like it's almost impossible for something good and new to open up. If you are a picky eater, don't bother trying it. You'll just waste your money and the food. But if you enjoy food, heck-- go for it!! Its about one of the few Burger joints that deserves its success (& the only other place in my book that could possibly compare on that note would be In-N-Out). FYI, this is nothing like In-N-Out Burgers. Nothing could compare.... but Five Guys holds its own. Don't think Sonic (Sonic blows)...keep an open mind... The menu is easy, you order a Burger, add your toppings of their selection (all FREE from any additional charge BTW), add fries, and a drink to your liking. This is not a place for meal deals....if you want that go back to McDonald's! Nope-- here you get to truly have your meal made the way you like...order a Burger, add fries or not, hey-- skip a drink. Bring your appetite, the best part is that all burgers are double patties:-) And fries are abundance! Free overflow scoop to top off!!! If you can't stomach much I suggest going with regular fries, and maybe the little burgers. This location is bigger than the Puyallup one, They even use the new 100 flavors Coca-Cola soda dispensers. My boyfriend and I had just finished watching The Conjuring 2 at the AMC theaters and he had recommended this place for lunch since I've never eaten here before. It was a beautiful day out and happily agreed since there's outside seating. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a regular sized fries totaling to about $20. Wait time was probably about 10 minutes which wasn't a problem with us considering there were about 7-8 orders before us. The fries were fresh, hot, and seasoned well. The burger was large and was honestly hard to eat. Pretty messy and only got messier per bite. It was also hard to bite because it was big but that's not necessarily a bad thing lol. The patties were very juicy that I had to wipe my hand after every other bite. Overall, it was a great lunch. A gentleman here asked me if I wanted my jalapenos grilled. I had been ordering jalapenos for MONTHS and no had EVER asked if I wanted to GRILL them! YES PLEASE! YUM! 2. Quickest service. Do I really need to explain this one? 3. AMAZE-BALLS soda machine! A million (maybe not a MILLION...) choices to choose from. Diet and regular. & it's a touch-screen. Seriously... go touch it and get a Vanilla Root Beer. YUM! 4. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Oh em gee. So I worked at this big coffee chain for a few (8) years and they taught us to check/tidy the lobby and bathrooms every 10 minutes. Sometimes that happened...sometimes it didn't... Love the burgers here. I'd recommend going with the "little" sizes though. The regular burgers are double patties and you'll be in food coma for a few hours if you can actually consume the whole thing. The ingredients they use are super fresh and they certainly aren't cheap with the fries which are fresh cut. When you order, you get to customize your ingredients/condiments. Best chain we got in Washington since we don't have In N Out here. They also have these kick ass soda machines where you can customize your drinks...so you can get a Coke with Lemon, Lime, Vanilla, etc. can't go wrong with a burger at Five Guys...a little pricey if you're eating on a budget but nothing totally outrageous. read more

Been here before, normally not bad. Tonight we ordered 1 bacon cheeseburger 1 veggie sandwich and 2 large fries. Our order was placed at 9:12pm and we got our food at 9:48. We stood in the lobby waiting and not one of the employees asked what our number was to check on our order until 9:46. When the worker asked if our order was almost done one of her coworkers got angry and said "well they ordered one cajun fries and one regular fries so yea." After all that wait our order comes up.
