We have wanted to try Level Up for a while now - such a fun concept! I'd say my favorite part is that the games are free to play, so no need to allocate quarters or anything like that. There are 2 tables with gaming setups and a couple of mini-arcade games (Pac Man and an NBA game), plus lots of nifty decor and posters. The service was very friendly and quick! Put food came out in a very reasonable amount of time and all items were correct. Note: they do NOT have a kids menu, so if you're looking to save some money, you can order their regular cheeseburger for $8 and split a fry and drink with your little(s), since the portions are pretty generous. I had the mushroom burger because it was the daily special. To be honest, it was pretty bland - it doesn't seem they season the meat and there was no sauce. I added a couple of my onions rings to the burger and it gave it a lot more flavor, so that was great. My 7 year old had the regular cheeseburger and fries and loved it. My husband had the blue cheese burger and said it was "pretty good" ... we both agreed that some Johnny's seasoning salt on the patty's would go a long way for flavor. Came here after quite a few years. Used to be Herfy's but is now a video gamed themed spot. Menu is very similar, if not the same as Herfy's. Not sure that I would consider the burgers themselves a level up from anything. Seems like a lot of places are afraid to make a real burger anymore. Melt that cheese! A juicy, greasy, messy burger! These looked nice, but lacked any flavor, unfortunately. I wish there were some better burger spots in Lakewood, that's for sure. First off the burgers are fantastic. The garlic fries are even better then they have at the Safeco field. And the shakes are thick and yummy. Food came out super quick and was not expensive. This would have gotten a 5 star except for the whole games theme is cool except they only have two tables with the games. And they were both taken when we got there. We finally snagged one, and the controller was broken. Turns out the games are just one of those temu emulators with a fake PS2 controller. I personally don't have a problem with this, you're never gonna have access to all these old great games otherwise, however it is illegal. Very satisfying burger for the price! I got the California Burger and Onion Rings. Easy to order in the yelp app (processed thru Grubhub) and it was hot and ready for pickup when I arrived. Burger: Not smooshed. Good size. Tons of avocado which I LOVE. Bacon was buried in there somewhere but doesn't overpower the rest of the ingredients. Veggies not wilted. It's a yellow bun! I loved the Cajun Burger from Herfy's so I tried that as a comparison between the two. The burger was prepared well, it's not as good as the one herfy burgers did but still a good burger. This Herfys has changed to a Level Up Burgers. Now hear me out, they've kept the fry sauce and some burgers. However, they've changed out their fries. They're regular, which quick to get soggy. The fries were extra crispy, just how I like them! The workers were nice, the prices were average, and the service was quick. I got the California burger but replaced the house sauce for the spicy house sauce and that shit was on point fam! It was delicious, I'm definitely coming back to ear more burgers here! I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere, the owner was behind the counter didnt bother to acknowledge my presence or greet me with a simple "hello". Lack of courtesy. When I politely requested some extra sauce for my order, her reaction was nothing short of appalling even though I'm willing to pay extra for the sauce. Her face looked like I'm annoying her. Ranging from burgers, wraps, milkshakes, etc. Their fries are beautiful. Sometimes I just want to get the fries instead of the burger! I did notice that they received a lot of calls for pick-ups! Watched about 6 people walk in and pick up their order in the 20 minutes we were there. Another Plus! The Bacon in the cheese burger steals the show! Thick and delicious and the burger is flamed grilled medium well ( I prefer medium/rare) but overall a solid burger!
