Easily five stars. Even though it was busy, we didn't wait too long, but it was worth it. The burgers taste so fresh and so well seasoned. The sauce was perfect. The bun was grilled, but soft on top. The crinkle cut fries were also very good. I think anyone that gives them a bad review does not understand the concept of what it is. For what it is, the quality is very good, and the taste is amazing.

Very cute spot with a delicious milkshake recipe. Everything about the experience to include kid friendly-ness was awesome. I felt like my smash burger patty looked like lace- a little too much air and not enough meat but that is possibly just my preference.

We were recommended this place while we were at Mary Bridge for my son. We always try to find places we don't have in our area (aka fast food chains) and this place is quite the gem. The service was great. We got there right after they opened and it wasn't super busy. We were helped and we sat down. The vibes is very burger shack. It's not fancy or anything but it's definitely fun. I love the bar type seating round the center of the room. The shakes are delicious and you get a lot. Our food came out pretty quickly and it was, so dang good. The burgers were perfect diner/burger shack burgers. They had flavor and were so delicious. The fries and side are fried and season to perfection. The sauces are also amazing. I'm so glad we found this place and can add it to our list of places when we come to Mary Bridge.

This is a really cool place aesthetically but boy does the service suffer. When I visited, there was only one other person in the restaurant and I'm certain that he'd already ordered. There was one employee, and she was stocking thing or making place settings or something when I entered. I was not greeted nor given any instruction. I found the area where you order food, and I stood there for quite some time before the employee came over and asked if I would like to order. I ordered a Jumbo Smitty and a side of BBQ Bacon Cheesy fries. It took longer than I expected for my food to be prepared but I knew it was ready because the cook hit the bell to signal the other employee that my order was ready. She had just been helping some other customers and didn't hear the 'DING' and so my food sat there. It sat there for so long that by the time she realized that it was up there and finally brought it out to me, it was cold. The 1/4 lb patties must weigh 1/4 lb before they are cooked but as you can see in my photos, that does not look anything like 1/2 lb of beef and for $14.79, I was sorely unimpressed by the burger. Since everything here is ala cart, the fries cost me $11.49 and there were so many that I couldn't eat them all, but I wasn't very impressed with them either. They did have more bacon on them than I had expected so overall, that was probably the best part of my visit. I can't blame the restaurant for it but while I was there, two women came in with a toddler and they were being very rude and crazy loud. I had to get up and move to the back of the restaurant to get away from it. Then a huge crowd of people came in for what looked like a student government meeting of sorts. I overheard one woman asking if their order would be ready soon as they were on a time schedule. She informed the employee that they had placed their order online and set the visit time for their arrival and the employee said that they had never received the order. So, they had about 25 hungry people who had already placed their orders and limited time but no food. I don't know who's mistake that was but if that's the way this place is run, I don't see them being very successful in the future. A cool vintage interior and very loud 50's music can only carry this restaurant so far. They really need to work on training the employees in customer service and attentiveness. As for the food, it wasn't good enough for me to become a repeat customer but if you haven't been here, don't let my review stop you. Go see for yourself and hopefully you have a better experience than I did. Cheers!

Stopped in for lunch for corn dogs and tater tots. Ordered at the counter and food was fast and as expected. Condiments were easy to get and restaurant was clean. Good spot when you want to have a corn dog, didn't quite have ea big enough appetite for a milkshake but those are so good, too.

Wow this burger is what I needed in my life today. So big I almost couldn't finish it, paired up nicely with their fantastic onion rings and a Nutella shake. My wife had a stadium burger and an almond roca shake, both of these were wonderful too. Also I totally dug the vibe. The owner said they found many of the decorations at a bowling alley, but it sure didn't feel like it, it just had that classic diner feel, I can't wait to make my move to the area and eat here regularly.

Looking for a local burger spot and we found an amazing retro hole in the wall. This place is a gem. We each had the Smitty which is a 1/2 burger on a French roll. The roll was so fresh as were all of the ingredients, we shared a basket of fries, they were piping hot and crispy to perfection. We topped off with hot fudge milk shakes that were the best the each of us had ever had. The music is an eclectic mix of 80's and 90's. The service as quick and very pleasant. Will return again and highly recommend !!!!

My husband and I were in the area and I really wanted to try this place out. The interior is retro but looked great! You order your food at the counter then can go find a seat. The employees we had encounters with were super nice! I liked that they had an updated payment system so you can pay with even your phone. I ordered a single classic with cheese plain and a basket sized fries. My husband ordered a jumbo smitty and a small order of tator tots. The portion sizes for the sides were a lot so that was nice. My burger was a bit flat and the bun tasted like flour but otherwise it was fine.

The Dawg Eat Dog food truck is an absolute must-try!…read more When I review hot dogs around the country, I'm always searching for vendors who understand the true art of serving a great hot dog. For me, the gold standard is simple: a hot dog that reminds me of that first grilled dog at a family BBQ--perfect char, served hot, and not buried under a mountain of toppings. One thing I'll never understand is boiled hot dogs. Boiling strips away flavor. If you're a hot dog vendor, take notes from Dawg Eat Dog and step up your game. What impressed me? They grilled the hot dog. They toasted the bun. The dog was hot and flavorful. I suspect they may steam the hot dogs before grilling, which is actually a smart move for food trucks because it reduces wait times while still serving a hot product. Whatever they're doing, it works. I found Dawg Eat Dog at Sumner Rhubarb Days, and after one bite, they jumped straight to #2 on my Best Hot Dog List. Now, for full disclosure, the #1 spot is still held by Smokey Joe's Hot Dogs LLC in Peoria, Arizona. I can say that confidently because I owned that stylish shipping container restaurant myself! And before anyone asks, my personal favorite hot dog of all time is still the 7-Eleven Spicy Bite eaten completely naked--no condiments. Sometimes simplicity wins. If you're still searching for your go-to hot dog, use Dawg Eat Dog as your benchmark for what a quality hot dog experience should be. Great flavor, great execution, and a great example of how hot dogs are supposed to be served.
