Okay first and foremost. I do in fact like five guys! They are one of my favorite burger place & especially the company starting in WA always is a plus for me since I am from WA! I've been to this location maybe a total of 5 times in the last year? And this will be my second time having to encounter an issue. The first time I did contact the company and I will probably be doing it again. The first issue I had with them was that I was doing a call in order and they weren't answering so I ended up heading there and while I was calling them I walked into the store and they were all just talking amongst themselves and letting the phone ring & there wasn't even any customers nor were they cooking anything. So it didn't make sense. This time I came in with my S/O & we ordered our food as normal. We got drinks this time but before I ordered I asked the employee " can we use the soda machine" and he said yes so we are assuming we would be getting our own drinks (no big deal, was just wondering because of Covid regulations). So when we got our order they called it we got the food but we didn't get our drinks?? So they told us to hold on and didn't tell us that someone would be doing it for us. This girl came up to us and goes " do you guys have drinks?" And were like " what?" Because technically we didn't have drinks but we ordered them and so she proceeds to become rude and say " do you guys have drinks?, do you guys have drinks" and started moving her body And I go "we ordered two large sodas" and then she goes " well that's what I asked, what do you want to drink?" with an attitude and grabbed the drinks and her body language told it all like we made her mad? But her question wasn't clear because we are thinking they are supposed to give us cups? Are we supposed to grab them? Like we aren't sure. Anyways she gets the drinks we asked for and hands it to us and didn't change her attitude never told us have a nice day any of that. I work in customer service I understand it all but like it doesn't mean she can get mad at us if she wasn't clear because I was calm & so was my S/O. Also there was another guy getting his own drinks with those free water cups so I'm like in my head " oh he can do that but we can't?" I don't know. I hate going to places when people have the wrong attitude because it's just gives me a bad taste in my mouth and I don't want to go back. read more

Offered to remake it, but it was clear they weren't in a hurry to get started- so instead of wasting another 15 minutes of my day just requested a refund. Manager refunded the order (originally minus my tip- made him aware then just told him to throw it in the jar). No guest recovery offer, just a lackluster apology. Another good meal, Five Guys Burgers & Fries are consistent regardless of the location. Their burgers are similar to old school backyard burgers with a good size patty and fresh fixings, but their meat is a tad greasy. What makes them unique is how they make your burger to order, they let you pick your toppings, which are all fresh. Their fries are amazing! Love the seasonings that they put on them. This location is clean and the staff was all friendly, bathrooms are also clean and well stocked. This is a chain with pride, you will enjoy your experience. WARNING: if you have peanut allergies, I'd consider another option. The fries are cooked in no allergenic peanut oil, BUT, they have peanuts all over the restaurant, they offer FREE salted peanuts, which are very good, but also not ideal for some people. read more

But this location is the rock bottom. Sure, they service UNLV and the heavy traffic of Maryland Parkway, but the street peeps who infest this area, flock to outside these doors for some reason. How bad is it? Next time, I'll go down the parkway and hit up the increasingly chintzy In-N-Out or increasingly better SmashBurger. When I saw what came out of the public restroom, I decided to not test fate and felt better waiting. I wouldn't even wash my hands in there for fear of contracting something airborne or something penicillin resistant. Note: For the "woke" Socialist leaning students going to UNLV on mommy and daddy's dime- you would cringe if you had to share your dorm-room with one of these "poor souls" so STFU. This location just recently opened and after a very stressful day at work with a very late lunch, I wanted comfort food. And sometimes a juicy hamburger is the perfect comfort food. And after having a horrible experience with the Five Guys out South on Eastern I felt they were due for a second chance. Ordering was fast, service was friendly, and I like all the various options you can choose to load up your burger with. I ordered the spicy fries and was handed a drink cup. After paying I turn and...whoa, what's this? Do I see the new Super Coke machines? Why yes I do and there's two of them. At this point even if the food sucks, I get vanilla cherry Coke and life is good. I pick up my food and I'm like dang these fries are good. Too good as I'm through half of them before I remember I got a burger to try. Unlike my first experience, this one was what I expected it to be, and my faith in Yelp and other sources in saying Five Guys really was all that had been restored. Overall I wish the fries had been a bit crispier, but the bacon cheeseburger was perfect, and the vanilla cherry Coke was awesome. Hmm Fast food but not fast food. I like, but only like. This reminds me of another place around town and good idea but a few improvements will make it even that much better. SO this is a fairly new location and they are still working out the kinks the food is good but a few others would have helped a virgin like me ;) My first time to any Five guys I expressed that at the counter I would have thought the nice college/late high school student would have helped me at that point. The menu is plain a no frills menu but sadly I guess my brain was completely shut (like a lot of us) off after a hard days work. So i did not maneuver the menu well. So I ordered my meal with Fernanda tonight. Along with my order, I ordered two large drinks. She then proceeded to say "Oh we're not doing self-serve right now" (presumably because of Covid). I saw another customer waiting for food and he had a Five Guys cup as he was waiting for his food. So I pointed over at that gentleman and said "That guy has a cup!". Then Fernanda says "Oh well I have to get the drinks for you" and said "Okay". She said then "I can't though because I can't step away from the grill because he (she points at another employee) is about to go on break and I can't leave the grill". I said, it doesn't take that long to go get drinks from the machine (and there was still three guys back there, and one was working the grill and he was doing fine on his own). The grill was never once unattended. The guy about to go on break then comes up and asks what's going on. I said, "She says because you're going on break she can't step away and get me my drinks". He then says "Self serve isn't available right now bro!" and I said "I understand that, but it doesn't take that long for her to get drinks". Fernanda kept insisting because once the guy went on break there'd only be three of them back there and kept saying to me "We're offering bottled soda" and I said "No, I want a drink from the machine, why can't you go get them? I do not want a bottled soda when the machine is available". Finally she got flustered and walked back to the register, and I said "Whatever man I don't get it, but whatever". She then DID proceed to ring up the two large drinks and then I paid. Then she washed her hands, and it took her literally 30 seconds to get the drinks poured from the machine. Then she LEFT THEM ON THE COUNTER next to the machines/ She couldn't even bring them to me. Then she just walked back into the kitchen, re-washed her hands, and then went back to what she was doing before. Oh and the guy who was supposedly going on break? He didn't go on break until I actually got my order and left. So, apparently his break wasn't THAT urgent. And all he did was walk around in the back and then into the bathroom and then finally walked out of the store as I was leaving. What was Fernanda doing? She after getting all huffy about having to get the drinks, was on the phone, presumably taking an order. NOT, working the grill. All the while, the guy working the grill - was doing just fine! Why she felt she couldn't step away for 30 seconds to pour drinks is beyond my understanding. Especially when she got caught in a lie that they weren't pouring drinks when I saw the other customer who had one. This has been a lie they've peddled for at least a month as I have come to this location a few times over the last month. All they offer are bottled drinks they say? Well now it's nice to know they will get them for me, but only if there are "enough employees"? There were still THREE of them not more than 10 feet away from the drink machines. I am sure they would be fine on their own for 30 seconds. It seems to me that Fernanda and the other employees just didn't want to have to wash their hands, pour drinks, and then have to wash their hands again. Well I am sorry that Covid restrictions are in place, but THAT IS YOUR JOB. And when "break" guy kept saying "Well if we had more employees we could get the drinks for you" - that is SO suspect, when it takes THIRTY SECONDS to pour drinks and the grill was never left unattended. Fernanda said "Well we can't let the food burn". The guy working the grill was fine. She was just lazy and didn't want to have to go get the drinks. And going on break is no reason to not deliver customer service, especially when he didn't take his break until I LEFT. He himself could've got the drinks if it was "so urgent' Fernanda stayed. Too much for him to handle? 30 seconds? Then he could've had his break? Horrible customer service, lying to me about how they could get the drinks from the machine, and then to add, the drinks were not filled all the way up, and Fernanda barely put any ice in the drinks. Sorry to put you out - but it's again - YOUR JOB. Very disappointed in the employees tonight at this Five Guys. I have been coming here for years and was very disappointed in their conduct and outright lies, and outright disdain for having to do their job. read more

The awesome thing about Five Guys is that you know exactly what you're going to get. Quality, delicious burger every single time. FG is one of the most highly rated burger places in the country year after year. I almost left 3 or 4 stars because we went at lunch when there was no line and ended up waiting a solid 12 minutes for our orders to come up. When you're hungry it seems like a really long time! But this is not a 'fast food' burger spot per se. I actually appreciate the freshness and made to order style so I bumped them up to the 5 stars the food deserved. Fast food or gourmet burgery? They make your burger fast enough, but it is not your typical fast food burger. I have eaten at other locations, but this was my first time at this one. I got the bacon burger, all the way with peppers, and shared fries with my friend. You definitely need a fork to eat the burger, because as I was eating all the toppings started to fall out. The fries were unfortunately oversalted. Service was nice enough, they greet you as you enter and say goodbye as you leave. I like how one of the guys kept shouting things like "good job team, keep it up, etc." as they went through making the orders. But they should be more aware that it is an open kitchen and that we can hear everything else they say. FYI you can get your burgers with no bun ala "protein style". Ask for extra lettuce. read more

What can I say this is like burger version of subway. I like how you can customize your burger from how many patties to veggies or condiments. The fries have a nice flavor not too salty but just enough. The first time I was here I thought it was ok not bad, the last time I came it was real good. My mom actually enjoyed as much as she enjoys in n out. It's not overly greasy, the patty doesn't have that frozen taste, and it's not over priced. I like that you can snack on some peanuts while you wait. Also the fries come a large amount for example small fries can easily feed 2 people. This location of Five Guys never seems to be extremely busy which is good since you get your food within 5-10 minutes. The staff here is always courteous and friendly and are patient as they take your order. The food is good and always cooked fresh and gotta love the free extras they add on. My only negative is that this place always seems to be messy with dirty tables, a spill at the soda machine or trash where the lids are at. But overall good stuff to be had at Five Guys. read more

So i went into Five Guys on 11-11-2022 and ordered some food. When I sat down to eat, I went for the fries first and all of a sudden I was appalled! These darn fries tasted as if the were re-fried after they(being previously cooked) had been sitting out for awhile (this is a positive review I swear, keep reading). Anyway, so I go to the front counter and explained my dilemma to ​ a gentleman who was just kinda standing there. (I didn't catch his name) when I had told him that they (the french fries) ​had a​ ​p​​r​​​​​​​​​​etty​​ ​​strong​​​ i​indicator in looks and taste that they had been fried twice. Then he kinda just gave me this look like "whoops my bad." So he proceeds to tell me that he'd make me a new batch and I agreed and left the paper bag with my fries on the counter where the gentleman (unknown name) h​ad​​​​​ s​to​od​​​​​. So about 15 minutes goes by and I look toward the counter to see what is going on with my fries. I see the gentleman (unown name) NOT attending to the promised fresh​ batch of fries, m​y bag still sitting on the counter as customers are coming and going, and finally I make eye contact with DJ who was very aware of my fry dilemma and said to me that "the fr​i​​​​es s​​hould be​ done sh​​​ortl​​​y." ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Now mind you I had already scarfed down one of the best burgers in town and with the lengthy wait on my fries I kinda snapped on him and told him that "I'm full now" and wouldn't be ab​le to​​​​​ eat the ​fries in another few minutes because that burger had already began to settlle on my stomach and that I just had really wanted my money back for the fries. (which were $7,00 for the large I was splitting with my brother and very much worth it when they have been properly cooked. DJ told me that it was "cool" that I get my money back for the fries and totally went into FULL PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE MODE!! He immediately and ever so politely assisted me at the​register and had actually refunded me for my whole meal! GREAT JOB DJ KEEP DOING THE A+ SERVICE YOU GIVE!!!! THANK YOU! The actual quality of the burger meat is what I like you can taste it. They where also kind enough give me some free spicy fries while I waited first time I got fries didn't care for them and is why I don't order them but I enjoyed the spicy fries very much.
