    Nasty

I just went to this place. It's my favorite sub shop. I told him multiple times that I just wanted to meat and cheese, so no mayo. Had to tell him multiple times and it still came out with mayo and then he even added lettuce and then tried to pick it off so it was just sprinkled through my sandwhich. NASTY too. It was all wet and not in a juicy way

Firehouse Subs it was the smell that drew us in...this location is side by side to other restaurants but the delicious smells are overpowering! Our order: Italian medium & cuban large sub with a meal deal (drink & chips). Our total was 23$ because the friendly staff offered a discount & we received extra chips & soda for free. All i had to say was that it was my first time and they were like i gotchuuuu! Founded by firemen! Fire subs are only part of their mission. A portion of your purchase in 2024 at all US Firehouse Subs locations goes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, to be used to provide lifesaving equipment to first responders. Since the Foundation started, it has granted over $81 million to provide equipment, training, and support to hometown heroes. Best news? They're located in many states across the US including NY, CA, FL, AZ, NV & many more 10/10

New York Steamer 360 cal left - Italian 470 cal right. Didn't care for the flavors but very fresh

Food Quality is good, customer care is good, environment is fun. But for some reason the flavors didn't quite land for me! I had the Italian & the New York steamer both in small 470 cal & 360 cal respectively. Flavors seem to play one note despite being different sandwiches! $15.16 wasn't worth it to me.

Showed up to an empty store for my pick up order everyone on break.. but my order still needs to be made.. what's the point of ordering ahead? My bad maybe it's common place here now I know

Typically only 1 or 2 people working. Wait time can get pretty long. Especially during a rush.

My kids were getting hangry and they couldn't agree on what to eat, so I saw this Firehouse while driving by and I settled it for them. My son got his usual grilled cheese kids meal, and my daughter got the steak & cheese sub. Both liked their food. The staff was ok, but they didn't seem warm and friendly. The tables and chairs also could've been cleaner. Close to UNLV Campus, it's a great location for hungry students. Yelp also offers a $7 combo for checking in... but this offer is just for UNLV Students only. I'd come back again.

Quick lunch before heading to the freeway. Always love firehouse with their steamed meat so this was definitely a treat since there's none in Fresno anymore the customer service they were nice. We decided to eat in the restaurant. There was no one in there so it was quite very clean bathroom. So glad I got to stop and get this rare treat.

The people who own or work there need to be mindful of the customers. I got there at 10:30am and I am probably the second customer there. I was welcomed by some employees, went to the counter to order. The guy at the counter seemed like the owner. He picked up the phone and started talking. I stood there for like 3 or so minutes for him to finish his call. Then he asked me what want. I opened my mouth and started talking, he ignored me and started talking to his employees. That took another few minutes. When he turned to me after, I asked him if he is done with his talking. He said yes. I placed my order and waited. They spoke a different language and seemed like family or relatives. Either way, I had to wait for a bit for the sandwich and in the mean time, these people were talking loudly with each other while making the sandwiches. I wished they had a mask on...it was sort of disgusting. The ambience wasn't a great one with everything going on.

One of the things that we really appreciate is the dill pickle spear that we get with each of our sandwich orders. Having that pickle on the side really makes the order feel complete. It's like having a burger and fries or chips and a sandwich. At the deli, you expect the pickle with your sandwich. This was not the case the last time that we ordered food from here. We stopped in on Mother's Day. We ordered our sandwiches. Everything seemed fine. Our sandwich containers got pushed along the line and when they were ready, they called our name. Simple right? No. Not exactly. The cashiers were quick to take our money and we were just as quick to bring our sandwich back, upset and disgruntled. We felt gypped. None of us got pickles. We didn't know why. The hubby was upset! He went to the cashier to complain. He told them that he would like to be refunded his tip, simply for the fact that they never mentioned the fact that there were no pickles available today. He was not asking for a refund on his sandwich. He just thought that they could've pasted a bit better discretion and making sure that all of the customers there knew that there were no available for Sandwiches today. I can't even tell you how upset he was. Like I said, I know it seems like a silly thing, but it's like missing the fries to your burger or the chips to your sandwich. The whole entire sandwich felt incomplete!!! So like I said, a refund for the tip was requested. Instead, the cashier ended up refunding the entire cost of one of the sandwiches. We tried to compromise with the deli, asking that maybe we buy a side of potato salad, but instead because of the problem with the pickle being unavailable, maybe they only charge half of the regular price of that sign. We're trying to upsell ourselves. Not Conley. The cashier didn't say anything. She just had a crunching. She didn't make eye contact. She never said sorry. She just went ahead to refund the cost of no one and that wasn't. Now, granted that was still a good amount, but the whole ordeal really so simple to dissolve. We were really disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm in the cashier trust us. We were also even more upset with the fact that the deli wouldn't let people know ahead of their ordering that there were no pickles. The hubby suggested that maybe they put out a sign saying that there were no pickles available today. One of the employees said, "oh no, we can't do that!!" I have a feeling they were worrying about the pickle situation and announcing it because then people would turn away from the restaurant. But, I understand that. For some people, a pickle is serious business. I know it seems crazy but at the same time. I get it. There's plenty of ample seating in and outside of the deli. It's always fun to sit there with people watch. Sometimes the line at the deli is exceedingly long, but don't be discouraged. Unless of course they're out of pickles, the line moves pretty quickly. Hopefully the next time that we pay this deli a visit, the pickle situation will have been resolved.

I was lucky in arriving early for lunch, so the lunch crowd wasn't there yet, and I was able to be seated. I ordered the beef & cabbage soup. A dish I have been eating there for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, it was not as good as the last time I had it, or the many times before. It has always been like a sweet and sour base. This time the soup was very salty, almost inedible. It was served with bagel chips, which were nice and crunchy. I wish I was super hungry to enjoy one of their sandwiches. I saw them coming out of the kitchen looking delicious. I don't love that they don't offer Wi-Fi, but I assume it is so people won't linger, as seating is limited. Would give them another try if they did, as I appreciate being able to multitask and get work done while grabbing a coffee or lunch. Just isn't their vibe. What sets them apart in the Arts District is the front patio, which is not super common. Not in their control are the increased parking rates, and so it's a tough sell if going as a destination, rather than a meandering shopping trip in the vibrant area.
