Today being a true Monday, it was a grab and go back to the office kind of day. Placed my order on their app, food was delivered, as ordered, in less than 15 minutes. When you order on the app, you have options how you want your sandwich prepared - lots of extras can be added, sandwich can be un/sliced, bread can be left in or "gutted" as they state on their menu, and condiments can be added such as oil & vinegar, their oregano seasoning (yum!), Mayo, mustard , pepperoncini peppers, extra cheese, more meat, less meat, etc. They offer French roll, sliced wheat, or an Unwich® which is a sandwich without any bread. This was my first time having Jimmy John's ever. I really loved how specific you can be on the online ordering such as to eliminate or ask for light something. I got the #7 which was basically a spicy cold cut combo. I also liked that the bread was thinner because so many sandwich places give you so much bread on your sandwiches. They are known for their freaky fast service. I work at the outlets, and I really wanted something more healthy than the options at the food court. I decided to order a sandwich Jimmy Johns. I ordered the country club. I skimmed the reading and thought I ordered turkey, bacon, and provolone cheese. Alas, it was ham. I'm not a huge fan of ham, but it was still a pretty tasty sandwich. I ordered the huge sandwich, and boy was it big. Next time I think I'll order a smaller sandwich or try the club lulu which is a blt with turkey. My sandwich came out to $6.50, and after tax and delivery fee it came out to $7.50. A bit pricier to get it delivered. It's a pretty decent price, but I don't know if it's worth it to get it delivered all the time. I'd rather save my money for something else. They were freakishly fast. First timer here. So this place is okay if you want something quick and a sandwich. Tried their #5 the Vito, which is an Italian Sub with genoa salami, Provolone cheese, capicola, held the onion, with lettuce, tomato and Italian vinaigrette and added some hot peppers which I am so glad I did. The hot peppers gave help enhance the flavor of my sub. The bread that it was in between reminded of an enhanced garlic bread from Olive Garden minus the garlic flavor and butter. I don't know if having your bread toasted is an option but I kind of wish mine was. Then it would have been perfect. Other than that, this place isn't too bad. Used to be 5 stars. But lately they've been slacking. They never cut my sandwich in half like I request in the order but the last order was the worst. I ordered a sandwich before closing (which I've done plenty of times before). It takes 2 minutes to make the sandwich and 5 minutes to get here if that. I've timed it before. So this time I order and 5 minutes goes by. Then 10. Then 20. 30 minutes later I go online to check my order and loe and behold it's been cancelled! But it's not the fact that they've cancelled it that upsets me, it's the fact that they didn't have the decency to call me or email me or anything! They just cancelled it and that was that. I guess I should have ordered from the Charleston Location. Online ordering placed me with the Main St. store and they could not deliver 2 sandwiches to the CC Government Center 3 blocks away. They couldn't find it? or the first floor Records counter in it? Totally unbelievable! Enjoyed a great dinner before the Planning Meeting with my best friend on the corner of the City Hall building right east of the entrance lobby at Jimmy John's Sandwiches. My son loved the dill pickles with his large sandwiches, enough to take home for dinner after dinner. The restaurant gets thousands of deliveries in the area. They had a lot of riders delivering sandwiches. I wish I was in such great shape. The server preparing our sandwiches was very kind, took care of my boy, and then we went inside to get photos of the President Abraham Lincoln art. Tomorrow Hillary Clinton will be across the railroad tracks from City Hall at Symphony Park. I am going to cover the story in the afternoon. My son's first time at City Hall in Las Vegas. Who does he recognized from his History class in elementary school? President Abraham Lincoln. The art at City Hall is spectacular. Children love learning at City Hall. We enjoyed sandwiches for dinner before the Planning Meeting at the restaurant on the corner of City Hall called Jimmy John's Sandwiches.
