I had the C.O. hot dog with cheese fries, and my boyfriend went with the chili cheese onion dog. Absolute perfection. You simply do not mess with a formula this good. Every bite brought back memories, and somehow it tasted exactly as amazing as I remembered. This little hole-in-the-wall will forever be ingrained in my memory as THE best hot dog spot. I LOVE the Five Guys franchise, however, this location is no bueno. I went in today to order lunch for the go. Two Bacon Cheese Dogs.... keywords here are bacon and cheese, which these dogs were lacking the cheese. I wasn't greeted when i walked in the door like you usually get when entering a Five Guys, and they all looked at me when i walked in. I order my food with a trainee being shadowed by another employee and knowing how it is starting off at a new job i didn't mind the time it took to put in my order. About 5 minutes later my number was called. I was handed my bag with no "thank you have a nice day!" And left. Once i arrived home, i took all the contents out of the bag. Poorly wrapped hotdogs, yay. We sit, and unwrap the mess to find two dogs with bacon and no cheese. This is disappointing. I always try to give locations a second chance at redemption once i become disappointed with the service and i frequent this location most since it is less than 10 minutes from my house. I am not looking for free food, i was looking for cheese on my dogs and friendly staff that greet you when entering and exiting the building.
