I'm a Doordash driver, whenever i get an order to deliver from this five guys they keep me waiting for around 30 minutes while I am getting paid only 5 bucks for that delivery. So unsatisfied!

I used to LOVE Five Guys...always full when I left without spending a fortune. The last few times I've gone, I've left disappointed. Last time I noticed the prices had gone up, and my burger bun felt and tasted rather stale. Also, we were told they had no hotdog buns for my mother's hotdog. Seriously? You are in the same shopping center as a Big Y Supermarket! Walk the 60 yards and buy some rolls to appease your customers! This week when I brought my niece and nephew there, I was appalled at the price of lunch! My niece had a plain burger with no bun and NOTHING on it, and I was charged 8.19! Are you people for real? Such a shame because I used to love going to Five Guys. The food always tasted good, service was fast, and I felt like the price was right. Those days are sadly over.

This place made me rethink my fast food burger needs. No longer can I run to McD"s or Burger King for my quick burger fix. Although I do still miss the White Castle on East Tremont Ave. in the Bronx, I can only eat the obviously higher quality product you get at this chain. I've eaten at this location many times and the food always tastes fresher and more flavorful than the other fast food choices on the shoreline. The free peanuts make the wait for your food easily tolerable. Also, try the shakes. They are much better than average.

Holy price increases! $14.00 for burger, "little fries" and drink. Burger was good as always, but the fries had an insane amount of salt.

She's a little lerry of Lobster Rolls, if one speck of mayonnaise touches the LR? She's out. I say in my most charming voice: My love, Liv's Shack also serves a Connecticut Style Lobster, it's gently cooked in warm butter. How does that sound for some afternoon delight? She gave me the nod so I set the navigation to crustaceans. Once the nav brought us to our destination, I can see parking is an issue. I patiently waited as a family of four settled into their minivan and drove away. When we walked up to restaurant, first you'll place your order at an outdoor lemonade stand. There's a menu board, I know I'm going to chase my LR with a New England white birch beer. I order two small, buttered Connecticut Style Lobster Rolls. I grab my buzzer and we have a seat at one of the outdoor picnic tables. The LRs come out quickly. Folks, this has to be one of the top five lobster roll I had in my life! The lobster was very hearty with freshly caught lobster. The cook was perfect and the bun was also buttered and toasted to create a gorgeous hand held. If you're worried about the size, it was the perfect size. The larger size would have been overkill IMHO. Listen, some people like Geno's Cheesesteaks, some like Pats across the street. This is my review and I am telling you, from the lobster to the way it was prepared was award winning. All from a little spot on the water. If you like another area spot then you do you! When I arrived there was a beautiful young lady at the table outside. As I ordered viewed the hand written menu. I decided to purchase the 1/2 lb lobster roll. They had several different fries. I asked the young lady which fries were the best, she stated the Old Bay fries were here favorite. I chose the Old Bay fries. The service was impeccable and every waitress I saw had a smile on their face. I sat out under their tented seated area. When my food came out I said Hallelujah!! The Old Bay fries were supper crunchy on the outside and moist inside. They didnt skimp on the lobster meat. It was juicy ,succulent and sweet. The roll was toasted to perfection and was able to sustain all the lobster meat. I can say this was the best lobster roll I ever had and I've had many. It was quiet and very peaceful ambiance surrounding the Harbor Marina next door. If you liv out os state and especially if you live in CT you need to make your way to Liv Shack. To all my Yelpers let's continue to eat our way through the world #foodie4life.

I don't feel like going back and making a fuss, but I won't go back to eat there either . I recently planned an errand in the general Old Saybrook area so I could try both at Jack Rabbits. I had the vague impression that there may be more than one part to Jack Rabbits. I went to the part that's more of a bar. It was crowded. There was one table open, but I opted for one of the last seats at the bar. If Jack Rabbits isn't quite a dive bar, it's dive-bar-adjacent. There were clearly a lot of area regulars there. The bartenders were all friendly and helpful. They knew the names of a lot of customers. Always a good sign. The thing about trying both the hot dog and wing part of the menu when you're alone, you can't really do a deep dive into either part of the menu. And the depth of the menu, definitely warranted a deep dive. I'll return to try more of the menu with reinforcements next time. I ordered a New York style hot dog, which was served with a split and grilled Hummel as the base. The toppings included sweet pepper relish, mustard, bacon pieces, kraut and onions. There was a lot going on in a way that I enjoyed. The dog was well cooked. They had a number of specialty dogs I'd like to try. I also ordered 8 Sriracha Lime Cilantro wings, and ate four there and brought the rest home for my son. Good flavor. Good texture. Meaty wings at a goods price. My son liked them too. Wing Addicts had another good call. I'll definitely return. 4.5 Stars

I went back recently, after having not been for a while, and it was as good as ever. They have a delicious quinoa and veggie based patty, and I have a signature way I usually like to order it: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Swiss, brown mustard, & their own hot relish. All of the ingredients are super fresh, and they execute everything they do extremely well, crucial with burgers, hot dogs and fries. The fries are hand cut, and I always go with the Cajun fries, accompanied by their addictive chipotle aioli. It actually has a kick, but also a strong depth of flavor. The Cajun seasoning on the fries is always just right. I have never had a bad experience there. Everyone is always super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They don't rush to make sure they have your burger/topping combination exactly right when you customize your own. It's actually a very nice space inside, too. I like eating there even though I have probably gotten mine to go slightly more often. Lately I prefer eating my burger & fries fresh there. Anytime someone asks for an in town food recommendation, my family & I say Riley's. It's a must try for foodies period, but especially if you're a burger lover. And again, they have a top tier veggie burger. It's a very special place.

The absolutely best French Fries I've ever eaten and after looking at the menu, I can understand why. Being a small food truck, they probably only have one fryolator. So everything gets cooked in the oil they use. The Hot Dog I ordered was the BBQ Dawgg. A beef Hot Dog wrapped in Bacon and then deep fried until the Bacon is crispy. Into a tasty, but not overly huge Bun and topped with grilled Onions and BBQ Sauce. So you get the Bacon fat and Hot Dog fat mixing in with whatever kind of oil they are using, which imparts all those flavors into the French Fries. Service is fast and friendly.

This place is very affluent, so there's lots of shopping opportunities in this area. tucked in the parking lot of one of these places is a large duplex-sized place called Jakes, which has a ton of good press online. We go in, and the place is somewhat dim. The place is small but very dark. It kind of reminds me of a collectables shop in terms of the ambiance. Functional, but not very inviting. The menu has pretty much all hot dogs, and lots of them. The sheer amount of unique dogs is impressive. This being one of our later stops in our trek, we opted for a chicken teriyaki dog and a Seattle dog for comparisons. The food comes out quick, we take pics and dig in. First off, the hot dog to bun ratio was way off. the hot dogs were way too small for the bun, which was very evident with the Seattle dog. So you would get lots of bread with a little bit of dog on each bite. Second, the hot dogs were actually very salty. This usually has no real bearing on the dish, since I do like my salt. The problem being that the two hot dogs we got had high salt condiments on them (bacon and chicken teriyaki). the combo of salt on salt just lead to some very salty bites. The dogs themselves were prepared properly. I do enjoy the split and grill method of dog cooking. but there was a major lack of balance with the two we got. If we got hot dogs that had other non-salty ingredients, then these dogs would be good. but as prepared, they were a little off. It's an option if you want a hot dog, I would probably avoid the two that we got unless you like salty dogs.
