So great! Loved the selections of corn dogs. Made with rice flour. I went with the mozzarella and potato and cheese sans dog. Delightfully fun and the staff was very friendly! Can't wait to go again!

Delicious food with quick service even when it's busy. Due to the shop being so small there is usually never a place to sit and eat when it's busy.

I have heard so much about Oh K-Dog and I was dying to try out. Firstly, there's more to the menu than the K-Dogs themselves. There's definitely an array of variations to choose from and a few sauces to complement it. They also serve toasted sandwiches that are great for every hour of the day. They also have an ever favorite Tteokbokki which I had been missing for a while. The place was clean however I was disappointed about the plants. It's either have it, or don't. It shows how much effort was placed about the plants and it makes me wonder how much effort was placed into my food. I'm sure they take care of the kitchen well since it's the means the business. The dying plants sends off the wrong vibe and definitely not aesthetically pleasing especially in the current growth in social media platforms looking for that IG worthy shot. The service was great. I was there long enough to really have the time to eat my food fresh. I would definitely recommend dining in than take out though. There's nothing like eating food when it's piping hot.

This place is not OK. Unclean and staff preoccupied with phones. The tables are dirty, napkin dispensers empty, garbage cans full, sauce bottles sticky and the only toilet in the place was overflowing into the dining room. I thought I was getting a corn dog with cheese and sweet potato topping, but I actually just got a cheese stick covered in a very thick layer of batter, rolled in potato chunks and overcooked because the cook was on his phone. Tasted pretty awful too. Never going back.

This was on my daughter's "had to have" birthday list, so we went for a drive to New Haven to check it out. Cute place with people in and out so definitely seemed popular. Could order from the computer or from a person. I opted for the human. The menu is extensive with a lot of options. Both my daughter and her friend chose the potato mozzarella (no dog). They loved it! Success! I had a bite because it was just an appetizer for our New Haven foodie trip... it would have filled me up. It was heavy for sure but delicious, flavorful, cheesy like it should be. I would go back to try something with a hot dog and maybe sweet potato because why not?!? It looked great!

I came back to try the tteokkbokki, and it was pretty good! Rice cakes were cooked perfectly, sauce is on point, and there were fish cakes and a boiled egg, which were nice touches. Personally, I could also go for a bit of mozzarella cheese melted on top, but this was pretty solid. And the portion is bigger than I expected! The rice cake corn dog, which I got rolled in cinnamon sugar, was a nice dessert treat. It reminded me of a churro with a chewy center. The only problem was that the rice cake is huge and kinda bland, and since there were no dessert sauce options, I didn't have anything to dip it in. If I got this again, I would do a savory version with extra sauce on the side so I could dip as I ate.

I would add this for dog to my list of "foods that make you go mmmmmmm". I ordered the classic hot dog corn dog. The crunch is satisfying and it isn't salty in the way that most corn dogs are. If you are a lady, please give up the desire to very demure and ladylike because I don't think there is a ladylike way to eat a corn dog. lol I just tried to avoid eye contact as I crunched this thing... lol. It is "girthy" for lack of a better word and the center stick is definitely pretty substantial ... so no risk of eating any splintered popsicle stick wood or anything. Definitely would be back to try the mozz dog!

I drove 50 min to try their Egg toast and it was so worth it! I ordered the Bacon & Cheese Egg with Garlic toast. The garlic toast is a must for this sandwich, eggs were fluffy, airy and light. The sauce they drizzle on top is some sort of sweet sauce, reminded me of condensed milk almost but not as sweet and thick. I would def recommend you try their egg toast sandwiches, this not your basic egg sandwich, it taste delicious! Chef's Kiss! You won't regret it! Also for the Korean corn dogs, you can never go wrong with a Korean corn dog. I ordered half mozz and half sausage You must order the one with mozzarella to have the full on experience of the cheese pull! Check them out! I wish they had a location closer to Manchester.

My friend really wanted to try this place since seeing something about it on TikTok. I'm not usually a fan of corndogs but I was curious about their mozz options. I decided to try the potato mozz dog and it was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. The lemonade slush was really good too.

This place is such a great place to get some grab and go food. It's basically like eating a large mozzarella stick and or corn dog but way way better. The mango slushy complimented the food. Having the ketchup with the food was so delicious. I would have thought to eat here if I didn't see it for myself. The staff is super friendly. I give kudos to a special staff member gal at the register who took my order that I hope when she reads this her manger should give her a raise ;) her recommendations of the food and how she handles customers with her charm is all qualities that will make you come back for more and to tell your friends about your experience. Put this on your must go eat list while in New Haven. If I could give more than 5 I would. Yelpers you must come.

I got the avocado egg toast with garlic bread. This was super good! Packed with so much flavor. Service was great and fast.

The best Korean corn dogs I've ever had! Love the look and ambiance of this place. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful. 100% recommend half mozzarella half hot dog rolled in sweet potato topped with sweet chili! Thank me later!

My husband and I tried this place last week and it was great. The k-dogs were tasty, kind of wish that they would just have more creative variety but it's more of few classics. Egg toast sandwich was okay, I guess that it just depends on what you like. This one is about more sweet rather than savory. Overall a great place to come a have a quick bite.

The tabletop cooking is nothing short of epic--interactive, fun, and perfectly paced--so every bite hits the table at peak flavor. The sushi is fresh and beautifully balanced, and the chicken wings are a knockout--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with bold, savory flavor. Save room for dessert, because the deep-fried ice cream is pure joy: hot, crunchy shell giving way to cold, creamy bliss. What truly elevates Dawa, though, is the staff. At this location in New Haven, CT, the restaurant had a high ceiling and a cool bar. The service was good and the food came out fast. BonChon is known for their double fried chicken wings. I had the 10 pc wings meal with pickled radishes. I got half-half of Yangnyeom and spicy flavors. I love the spicy, it definitely has a kick. I also love the Yangnyeom, which had notes of soy sauce from what I tasted. I like to get a side of white rice and Kewpie mayo to complete the meal. My family also got the takoyaki fried octopus balls; it's topped with Kewpie mayo, katsu sauce, and scallions. The balls were super good, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. My son's had the plain udon noodles which came out in a hot pot, so it was boiling; it satisfied their picky taste buds. My family and I had a tasty lunch there. I like the location because it's near a bubble tea place and a Korean corn dog spot. It's also walking distance to many other attractions. We parked at a nearby parking garage. Overall, I'm a fan, we had a great lunch, and will be back again soon.

This location also doesn't offer crab legs (even though we saw them online), which was a big letdown for my daughter. The sauce/appetizer station was just wack, the dessert area was really lacking no ice cream, only sponge cake and some stale looking popcorn. Dana did bring our table 1 cupcake, which was sweet of her. Overall, we had fun and left full after about 1.5 hours, (limit is 2) but the desserts, missing crab legs, and grill issues make me not want to return. Prices run a bit high, but the quality of the ingredients more than make up for it. The Jako Salad (4.5/5) is a favorite of mine. It perfectly mixes peppery arugula and crisp radish with a poached egg, fried baby anchovy, bonito flakes, and nori. The baby anchovy gives a sweet/salty crunch that tastes like my childhood. Every bite swings between fresh and umami in a really creative way. The harasu don (5/5) is pure richness in a rice bowl. Grilled salmon belly and salmon roe together are incredibly rich, almost to the edge of too much, but the warm rice underneath keeps it grounded and turns it into a perfect comfort dish. The giant octopus sashimi (4/5) is a great counterbalance, cleanly sliced with a firm, fresh bite that lightens things up. The fresh tofu with uni (5/5) might be my favorite plate. The tofu is ultra delicate, and the rich uni on top adds a briny depth. With the simple seasonings on the side, it's a savory panna cotta. If they ever did a dessert version with ginger syrup, I would be here daily. Sashimi here is excellent (5/5). You get a balanced mix of fatty cuts like otoro and leaner ones like akami, along with hamachi, katsuo, and octopus. The variety lets you move between clean and rich bites at your own pace. A side note. Every so often a piece of yamamomo shows up on the plate (small red berries), a little mountain peach that is sweet enough to outshine most desserts. It may just be a palette cleanser, but it is a personal 10/5 for me. So good! Both indoor and outdoor seating feel comfortable, and service was on point: kind, attentive, and well timed. Overall, this is a standout Japanese option that I would highly recommend if you're ever in New Haven.

I have also never been to a sake bar. Have to say....I was underwhelmed. We came in last Friday and apparently it was slow because Yale was off (according to our waiter). If a restaurant is good they should not be slow on a Friday night. We sat by the door on a cold night and there were two other couples practically on top of us. Rest of the seating are high tops against a wall by the bar or up the stairs on another level. We would have liked to sit upstairs but they were closing off that area. Menu was complex as the restaurant is authentic Japanese. Lots of beef options. Lots of Wagyu. I was hoping to be blown away by this restaurant trying something different. I was struggling trying to find something to order that sounded appetizing. I knew going in that this place was authentic Japanese but I don't know, nothing sounded great to me. I love mushrooms so I got the Mixed Kinoko Mushroom appetizer which was $15. To add scallops was another $8. Mushrooms were tasty. Scallops were not. $23 for a small dish. I also got the pork short ribs. Not a ton of meat on them, however, nice flavor. I was still hungry after this so I ordered a dessert which was the best part of the meal. They get some of their desserts from Hen & Heifer which is a well established place in Guilford. I got the Ube Panna cotta. Boyfriend got the Black cod Yu-an Yaki and upgraded to add the salad, pickles and rice for $3 more. The pickles were maybe two bites. Salad tasty but again, very small. He said the cod was just ok too. Very small portions and pricey for what you get. $30 for a mini sake flight. Not impressed with how it was served either. Small tasting glasses just placed on the table with no description. The server explained which was which, but I didn't remember. Not sure if he didn't care or this is how it's normally served, but if you go to a wine bar/brewery, they provide descriptions with flights usually written underneath the glass, or at least serve it in something. Not just tiny glasses placed on a table where you have no idea what you're having. Especially for $30! I was not impressed with this place whatsoever. As this is part of a newer restaurant group with a few different locations nearby in New Haven, we then went to their cocktail Lounge on crown street (116 Cocktail Bar) thinking it might be better, however we were equally disappointed. It was dead in there and the bartenders were miserable. They couldn't wait to get out of there. I have heard that their hand roll bar is very good (Handroll on State St). We have been to their Grocery Store called The Loop and it's cute. They have a brunch at the Grocery/Kitchen location that looks really good. They also have a wine lounge at The Loop that I'd like to try.
