Food Poisoning!!!!! My husband and i ate here the other night, and we had nearly the same meal, same topping, same fries. only differance was i ate some of the ketchup that is for customer use on dipping fries. I do think that is where the food poisoning came from. We have eaten here many times with no problems. But if you have ever had food poisoning it is not a fun deal. Still haven't found a better bacon cheeseburger around. Crunchy bacon atop a perfectly cooked sirloin and any toppings you want. I'd rather red onions om a burger than white but that's really a matter of preference. Cajun fries are my favorite. If it weren't for the existence of In n Out, this would get a solid 5 stars. read more

little over priced for the setting, fries are great, burgers really greasy, almost need to double bag stuff because the grease soaks through. Do not put it on the seat if you get it to go, will leave grease stains. read more

Update 7/4: The company has listened to [our] complaint and has removed this individual. Since the food was good and the past service has been good, we have changed the rating to 4-stars. It was unfortunate that we had to see this, but Five Guys has taken care of the situation. Thank you! Today, we witnessed some of the worst customer services we have every seen at Five Guys. This display of aggression by one of your associates was not only inappropriate, it was offensive. I was the one who offered to drive to your Five Guys location in Oregon City to pick up our meals. When I walked in, I noticed the following take place: two teenagers ordered their food, the gentleman at the cash register who seemed to be in charge did not give the couple their soda cups. The young man came back and grab his soda cups and the cashier grabbed the cups from the young mans hands and threw the cup on the ground behind the counter. While waiting for our food order, the same cashier then went back to tell the other employees what orders still need to be made, then made the comment "why cant people cook at home." Then he 'mumbled' under his breath an inappropriate word. We both come from the service industry and this kind of customer service only turns us away to other places to eat. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this location anytime soon. We have shared our story with Five Guys so they can share with their team what bad customer service does for business. We will add that the food tasted just fine and there were no issues in this area. read more

My wife and I usually hit this 5 Guys on the way back from Portland a couple times a month and the food is always good and it is usually not that busy when we visit. Our last visit though changed my opinion, the food as always was good, but for the love of god, the manager or team leader or whatever behind the counter spent the entire time shrieking out orders in a loud and extremely annoying voice that was so bad it literally gave me a headache. I won't be back....ever. Lots of other options where I can have a good meal and some peace and quiet. read more

I was told by many that their burgers can be compared to In N Out's burgers. There is obviously no comparison at all. I asked for a mushroom swiss burger and they didn't have mushrooms. Come on!!! The burger patty itself was just okay. I thought this place would be much better. read more

I finally ventured in after all of this time. Honestly, it's taken me this long because I'm a cheapskate that feels the Burger King whopper is the best value and taste for the money. But today I decided to give my daughter the choice of the 3 places in OC Point since we were just leaving the college... burgers, tacos or chinese. She chose burgers. She ordered a bacon burger and I had a regular burger (the small, single patty ones) and we decided to split an order of fries because the employee said they will feed 2 people. I selected all of the regular toppings and condiments plus grilled onions. My daughter added some toppings and sauted mushrooms to her bacon burger. The order was done in about 5 minutes or so and served in a brown paper bag with the grease already soaking through. Yum LOL. We dug in. The burgers were quite delicious, juicy, bun held up wonderfully, patty was natural shaped, not pre-formed circular perfection and the toppings were exceptional and fresh. The fries were enough for FOUR people. Delicious, fresh, excellent! They are the reason the bag got greasy because they overflowed the container and filled the bag! We managed to eat maybe half and brought the rest home. So after finishing and tallying up a burger, a bacon burger, a (seemed like family size) fry but it was a regular, a medium size soda and a water, it came to just over $12. I call that a deal and well worth it. Last I looked, I couldn't even get ONE Red Robin Burger for that price. The decor is stark, red and white tiles and the music a bit loud and only plays METAL and Hard ROCK which really surprised me. Sure I like good old rock and roll but I'm sure a ton of customers don't. They should go with a 50's rock. It would match the decor and also be accepted by a broader audience. I'll take my husband there sometime. He likes a big double burger with lots of toppings, I'm sure he'll like this place... and it's much closer than Calamity Jane's! read more

They just opened Gresham...Great concept but it is better to eat in the dining room rather than take out because they wrap in foil and it steams and makes the bun soggy. The burger should be wrapped in breathable paper. Buns falling apart before the sandwich is finished seems to be a major subject with all burger places lately. Food was ready relatively quickly. I have only eater at a Five Guys one other time and did not realize that a regular burger comes with two patties so be prepared for a lot of meat! What's not to like burgers and fries. Burgers are cooked to order and come up hot and fresh. Same with the fries. Fries are cut fresh from local farms and the farm they came from is posted in the store. Everything is bagged to go but you can eat in. There is also boxes of peanuts for you to munch on while you wait. Love going to five guys. Gluten free food served here too just ask. read more

The burgers are pretty good, but they serve them with pickles that are not quite dill and not quite sweet. A good burger should only have dill pickles on it. I can't deal with the half and half pickles. The fries are great and greasy as they should be. read more

All ways good. A little pricey but if your a burger junkie it's a must. The only problem is when you get the food to go, because it's hit and fresh by the time you get home your burger has steamed and stewed in the foil wrapping it is often soggy and bread is wet. Yuck. read more

This place gets a lot of hype. In fact it's posted all over their walls. Literally EVERY WALL is covered in some bragging statement from somewhere or another about how epically awesome they are. Seeing that, naturally I have high expectations. What I got did not at all justify the hype. The burgers reminded me of the burgers you grill up in your backyard. Now, that wouldn't be a bad thing, except they are charging me over 6 dollars for a double cheeseburger, which is not, mind you, stacked with real cheese, but american slices (shudder). You do have your choice of condiments, but the offerings are sparse and terribly terribly common, in particular for a place that has a comparison to willy wonka posted on their wall. Onions(grilled and fresh, both were of the bitter yellow variety) sauteed mushrooms, tomatoes(heirloom steak), peppers(fresh sliced), mayo, lettuce, K&M, BBQ and relish. That's it folks, no variation of bun type, no extra sauces, just the basics you get at your company BBQ. The meat IS good quality. It's real beef, formed in patties right there and grilled up, sort of bland, nothing special aside from that. What's more the burgers are small, about the size of a typical Franz bakery sesame bun or by comparison a McDonald's burger. They are grilled fresh so the burgers are fatter, but you just expect more out of a 6 dollar burger. And now the fries...The fries the fries...Yes, you get a lot of them. A LOT. Spilling into the bag out of their cup in fact. And they are made from fresh potatoes, and that's great...But so are the ones I make at home. They also taste better,are not over salted in Cajun season I.E. season salt, and one better they don't cost me two dollars. So yeah, you get alot, but not for a great price, and you aren't getting an extraordinary treat. And add insult to injury, you have to buy each item individually. There are no 'value meals' to be seen. And considering the price you pay per item? It's really not worth it. I can go down the way, get a burgerville basket for the same 10 dollars and enjoy a better meal with more variation, equally fresh beef (I know, I used to work there), and a rotating assortment of seasonal ingredients. It's semi local, it's got an eye for sustainable practices, and it tastes really good. I don't know how this restaurant managed to franchise. It's nothing special. I would hesitate even to call it a competitor to burgerville. It's more akin to burger king, only with less selection,only marginally better product, and with a bigger price tag. So I came here one other time right before this one and specifically let the employee taking my order to please not put any pickles or relish and I ended up coming home and opening it to find all i had in there was onions when I ordered everything except for any type of pickles.. AND then gave this place one more chance to get my order correct and this time I ended up with pickles. This is very poor service due to I'm guessing rushing. They keep messing up my order and I feel that I will no longer come here anymore. & another time before these two times I had a hair in my ketchup from dining in. read more
