I've been successfully lured to this Five Guys many a time--driving along Bay and looking at their bright signage down Elm Street, it has a tempting light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel look. This location is excellent, and the only reason my rating isn't 5-stars is because it's a little grungy due to being so close to the intense activity of Yonge-Dundas. The food is as good, if not better, than most Five Guy's, the service is considerate and fast. The staff are really nice and even stayed open a couple minutes after closing time when they saw me rush over once. The pickup service that they use is Ritual by the way. It's pretty fast for me to do a quick grab-and-go during the pandemic, and they're open pretty late. Their pandemic hygiene seems really good. They always wear masks correctly and many of them wear gloves.

Five Guys is right by Eaton Centre and Ryerson, it's pretty happening here on a Friday night. The burgers are average. So are the toppings. However, their Cajun fries are pretty amazing. It has a great twist to it, they're arguably the best fries I've had. Only problem is that everything is a bit pricey for fast food. It's filling food, but greasy-filling. I find it odd that this is the only fast food restaurant (that I can recall) that doesn't offer combo meals. Maybe that's why everything is pricier because it's individually priced? If it's any consolation, there's free peanuts in the middle of the restaurant.

This was a quick dinner option after watching a movie nearby. I wanted something filling as had an appetite. Ordering was quick as few options for burgers (one can go crazy with the condiments I suppose) I also added small fries as they came recommended. The kitchen is open and they grill/fry to order. Now full disclaimer I am not a big fan of burgers but can tell if I have a decent one. The wait was ok and grabbing a spot wasn't hard as well. The seating is greasy as expected. First of the burger is decent sized. The taste was ok. Not quite gourmet nor is it the fast food variety. I think of in and out burgers as benchmark for this level and sadly this isn't up to par. 2 stars for the burger as way to greasy for my taste. Fries fared better as nice and warm. Half star added for those. 2.5 stars all said and done.

I'll never understand why Five Guys gets all the hate that it does. At the end of the day, you're paying for a burger that's super delicious, juicy, and is often times way better than the non-chain burger joints. Is it the best you can get in Toronto? Of course not, but it's excellent in it's own right. The griddled, flat top crust tastes amazing, and you get that beefy flavour bomb when you bite into it, mixed in with good bacon and cheese (if that's your thing). And, of course, the fries are awesome too. There's not much to say. It's a place that makes a mean burger and fries, and rivals Burger's Priest and Holy Chuck for best chain griddled burger.

Don't come if you have peanut allergies.

I love Five Guys for the fact that there aren't many kids or adults with annoying food requirements. I am grateful for such segregation; especially, the annoying kids part, and the helicopter parents (or are these "snowplough parents?") To boot, their burgers are fantastic, baring other competitors I favour.

I pass by this place on a fairly regular basis but never dropped in until now. The place was fairly busy when we got there but the line moved fairly quickly. The menu also offered hot dogs and sandwiches but I was here to try the burger. There were 4 burgers to choose from as well as a little version of each. The difference between the regular and little version is that the little comes with one patty while the regular has two. You also get to choose the toppings and sauce for your burger from a fairly decent list of items. I ended up having the bacon cheeseburger and I must say it was pretty good. The patty was juicy and when combined with the toppings and melted cheese looked so unhealthy but was so good although I wished they had put more sauce. I'd recommend dropping by and grabbing a bite although I did find it a tad pricey for what you get. Also don't forget to grab some peanuts to snack on.

Conveniently next to the mall and school, this place makes a lot of business. I've been here twice and I like the amount of toppings they offer. The burgers take awhile to make as the parties are grilled to order so they come out hot and juicy. Their fries are unique since they use peanut oil and the also give free peanuts, which is what they are known for!

Reese's Milkshake = Peanut Butter milkshake, then ask them to add malt to it. Tastes sublime.

Here's a non-burger review / DIY recipe= Unintentionally made a "Reese Cups" taste milkshake by requesting Peanut Butter AND Malt, tasted really good - best of all, it lacks the concrete consistency of more industrial milkshakes from McDonald's (so your mouth doesn't end up getting cramps from trying to draw up liquid)

Super juicy, fatty, tasty af burgers near the Eaton centre in Toronto. We got a cheeseburger (2 patties) for almost 10 bucks (lone, no fries) so it is pretty pricy but you can taste the quality of the food. You can get free peanuts on the left far side of the restaurant!

    Trademark: fries overload. Cajun fries.

The service was friendly and patient as I was greeted upon entry and took my time perusing the menu. The restaurant was very clean and organized, not a lot of stuff on the walls and the bathrooms were in top shape which I appreciated. I ordered the classic double burger, with a side a fries and a cane cola. The burger was delicious! Toppings were fresh and tasty, and it made a mess with the sauces and condiments which is a sign of a great burger. It wasn't overly huge, a good size for my hands and they did get messy as I devoured this scrumptious burger. The Cane Cola was a nice accompaniment to try for the first time but not necessary to enjoy the burger. The fries were golden and crispy and quite a large portion for the price. I just wished the fry lengths were a bit longer as I received a lot of tiny pieces instead of longer potatoes which meant I was scooping them up in my hand to eat them. Not a dealbreaker, just an annoyance. The wait for the food wasn't very long, about 5-8 minutes and they brought the order to the table. I really enjoyed the burger and fries making this NOT just another burger spot but MTTBS = Must try this burger spot!

Went on Monday afternoon as I was on my regular driving route and ordered the crispy chicken burger. It came out looking smashing as they use a complete chicken breast, really juicy and the taste is pretty good other than it was a bit salty.
