I was trying to pick up something fast before the storm hit so I stopped by Five Guys. There were a few diners inside but I was promptly greeted and my order taken. The restaurant was clean and welcoming as well as the staff. Every time that I've been here it's been a great experience. I ordered a cheeseburger (1patty) and some fry's. It's way better, ten times over, than that other Tupelo joint Thrillist called the best in America (who asks them for burger recs anyway? Not me). Five Guys doesn't try harder than it needs to, and it doesn't forget what makes a burger, y'know... actually good? Uh yeah, dudes. the food is really good. What sane person doesn't like Five Guys? Sure, grumpy squares complain about the mess. I tell them to kindly remove the sticks from their rears. Others complaining about the price? Fresh stuff costs more, and the workers deserve good pay. Hot take, maybe... For the love of all that is beefy and cheesy... stop whining, bitter ones! Lorenzo at the counter was the highlight of the experience for me. Dude's the friendliest, most helpful and genuine dude I've encountered in the food biz in recent months (at a five guys, mind you...) a smile with crows feet, stories of usual customers like friends. Maybe we caught them on a bad night.... Randomly passing through. Guy in front of us had no meat put on sandwich. Food was messy as usual.. Ours came as ordered but experience was a bit odd. Need management support here as the leader just yelling at guys with customers in the room. read more

I ate there late Friday night expecting the crew to be aggravated for us coming in so late. The experience was over the top GREAT!!! The manager was the nicest guy that went above and beyond. Way overpriced for what you get!!! 4 burgers and 1 order of fries was almost $50!!! And it was mid to ok quality. The only plus was it was real meat. Now fresh not frozen not so sure. But come on $50 and no drinks and only one order of fries. Do yourself a favor and go to Applebees or Chilis where you get a complete burger meal for $9.99!!! read more

Too EXPENSIVE. It's good but you can get just as get of a burger at skybox or junkyard burger for a third of the price.

My boyfriend and I drive from Starkville at least once a month for these burgers. Food is always fresh. Service is good. Highly recommend. During our visit a five guys first timer came in; they told him his price was $22 , he swiftly change his mind. I'm here to say it's worth the price! read more

I'm pretty okay with Five Guys. I wasn't as huge of a fan of it like my husband was, even after several attempts. That was...until they came to Tupelo and this location was banging! I have no idea why it tastes so much better here, but it does! The service is great and the employees are friendly. It takes a bit of time to get your order, but it's piping hot when you get it! The building is also pretty clean and orderly. I love coming here when I want a good cheeseburger. read more

Exactly what you would expect from any 5 guys. The food always comes out quick and is fresh. The quality is always good. It can get expensive if you have a family especially without a kids menu. I do however find value added in that I never order fries I just eat the free peanuts. I also like that you can get the burgers without bread which is what I prefer. read more

Pretty much across the board Five Guys burger joint is going to have a 5 star review, this one is no different. Always clean, always friendly, Always Tasty :) what more could you want from a burger stop? As their veggies are always so fresh and awesome, I decided to go with the veggie burger this weekend to cut some cals for the new year, I was dope! It normally wouldn't cross my mind to write a review on a fast food(ish) type place like this, but I couldn't help myself! I have never seen so many employees so happy and enthused to be working! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the place seriously left me in a better mood than when I walked in.. and I took my meal to go! Price is high and food is ok. The bezt thing is the fountain drinks. Otherwise Sonic has a better burger for half the price.

If you are looking for a place to grab a burger, fries and milkshake, Five Guys is a great choice. There are some other things on the menu but the menu, as you might expect, is not as diverse as that of a fine dine restaurant. I've always received my food in a timely fashion and have not had any messed up orders or bad experiences during the several occasions I have dined or ordered food there. Now, you will spend more at Five Guys than you will at some other fast food locations and that is why I am taking one star off. Almost $20-30 for two meals is a bit pricey probably for most folks. The Tupelo location is clean. read more
